@MyCowIsTheBest: True, that. But practically everyone likes to raise their game against us. ;)
I just hope that he doesn’t perform that well for loserpool (if they get him).

I dont think rooney has the confidence to take a shot , if you remember in first half when gibson made a nice pass in to box from the left to rooney…the rooney of previous season would definitely try to bend it across the keeper to score a beautiful goal..but instead today he passed it to evra

  3. willierednut says:

On Rooney, he’s not and he’ll never be a winger. Either, play him up front, or don’t play him at all. That’ s my opinion on it lads.

  4. only one says:

maybe the contract was not good enough
sell berba, offer lifetime contract to rooney worth 500k per week thatll motivate him

Regarding balance i completely agree…i was just specific about the match….

and my overall point was more related to total football and yeah i agree it doesn’t hold good in current scenario

  6. fergie is the boss says:

ancha – But I do feel our ability to stretch teams with nani and giggs was a huge factor, add the fact nani is in his best position wide right

  7. ancha says:

    Willie

spot on…and playing him there when he getting back from such a pathetic form…is being as optimistic as a gay!

  8. shebangsthedrums says:

Can’t believe all the fuss about the penalty decision. Reasons it wasn’t a penalty – 1, Rafa never made a challenge, he closed down the ball, but halted his run when he knew he wouldn’t get there, that’s why he didn’t go straight through the player. 2, he stayed on his feet, which is often the difference between giving a pen and not. 3. If Evra didn’t get a free kick for nearly having his head taken off, then there’s no way that’s a pen. Notice no one had a 2nd look at that and tried to make the point for a free kick for Utd and then Blackpool scored in the next stage of play. F**K the ABU media.

having nani and a 21 year old giggsy as wingers….will be a fantasy….and that says it all….its the best we can have attacking wise…because we traditionally play through wingers more than through the middle…

I hope having valencia back by march…will be a huge boost…just imagine valencia on right…and nani version 2.0 on left…

ps: nani version 2.0 – best crosser of the ball and absolute class

  10. MyCowIsTheBest says:

good nite every1… (6.30 am here haha)

  11. fergie is the boss says:

willierednut – yea exactly, how is he ever going to improve if he is shafted on the left or the right. Like I said, fergie has to realise the CF’s we got are not tactically flexible enough they either play has a 2, or buy strikers who will play the loan striker role

  12. only one says:

dj campbell’s is caused by rafa he left the post unguarded albeit momentarily but gimbo’s flick header back to the far post is simply a copycat of oshea’s..but rafa redeemed himself by clearing that clear cut chance

  13. Costas says:

    @ancha

Yeah yeah, noticed that too. I even wonder what he would do if he was one on one with the goalkeeper right now. I liked what I saw from him last Saturday inregards to pulling the strings, but 3 goals in the season must be a rude awakening for him.

  14. fergie is the boss says:

ancha – it could be a while before valencia is back. maybe late march, but atleast park will be back soon. Shame cleverly was never brought back has its perfect time to have given him a shot, has we are so short of wingers

  15. berbatunday says:

whoa, dunno what woulda happened to my blood pressure if not that l was in class, gr8 results and not bad for my first prediction, chico came on to score!!!! l love the lil pea and berba what can l say that was just very brilliant, meanwhile l havent seen any of the match :(

  16. only one says:

ive been blessed with the absence of ABU pundit in my country’s coverage

  17. willierednut says:

It’s as simple as this lads, Rooney has it all to do, to get himself right and start performing, because Hernandez is knocking on the door atm. He shouldn’t be out on the wing though, he plays in the hole, or up front.

  18. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Gibson get flack when the whole team was shite 1st halfand agree with willierednut Rooney should either play upfront or not at all. The guys giving it to the midfield should be aware that this month was always going to be difficult with only 2 proven wingers in the squad. No need to buy wingers when we have Park back next week and Valencia returning in next 2 month. However there needs to be creativity in midfield which didn’t comeafter we took off Rooney who had yet another poor game. He isn’t in the team just to provide assists he gets himself into position other players can only dream about but doesn’t fancy pulling the trigger any more and that in turn hurts the team. Will he be in the next In-gur-land squad not that I care about that mob but if he does then the national team is a bigger joke than it has ever been before. Today was hallmark of champions got 3 points despite playing rubbish for over an hour and it took a 37 year old to show everyone how its to be done. Pathetic but also simutaneously Thank You Sir Ryan.

Your response to me regarding the half time talk, I read it now, everything flying by earlier!
We struggled in the first half, Blackpool were domineering, and largely dominating. Their goals
should have been avoided, and they added to the dread. I guess that every united supporter
felt anger and frustration and fear and mostly, confusion.

    Enter Sir Alex..

We are victorious, and it’s glorious.

We feel bad that we felt anger, and yet this is all part of knowing we are the greatest.
Great expectations, a lifetime of success, we are the winners.

  21. The United Way says:

That Giggs guy is good … wonder what he could achieve with us if he stayed a while?

Sir Alex Ferguson – makes inspired substitutions, shows no sentimentality and at the end of it all, still has time to screw Dogleash by praising transfer target Adam – ALL IN A DAY’S WORK.

Javier Hernandez must start now against the smaller teams – they can’t handle him. Looking forward to the CL and I think he would be great if we played Barca later on – they couldn’t handle Walcott’s pace… well what about a double-whammy of technique and pace from Berbatov and Hernandez!!

The League is ours to lose.

  22. Legolas says:

Giggs is de greatest football model ever! agree wif u FITB, Fergie got his tactics wrong from de start, but glad he repaired everything after de break. Charlie Adam is sensational and will definitely improve any team he goes to. I think Holloway wants him to join us which i would happily not mind. Had to arrange ER for some haters tonight.. Lol

  23. smartalex says:

The League is ours to win.

  24. Legolas says:

I was so peeved wen i saw we were goin 433 with most of our best performers in de previous match benched. didnt fault de players wen things were so gloomy cos i expected Fergie to know his team thrived on width. we are a 442 team and Gibson or nobody else was to blame. why was Fletcher trottin after being nutmegged by Adam???… Berba 4 world best if we win de league n Champions league anyone??

  25. smartalex says:

keano86 – FUCK OFF TO CITY WE DONT WANT YOU.

    USELESS TWAT.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE IN SPITE OF YOU
