Anyways, this guy is fucking good. I mean, he is just fucking awesome. There isn’t anything so far that he cannot do. The cross he delivered was amazing. The run he produced was sublime – and in the end he had the presence of mind to cut it back and shoot instead of taking a random shot. Seriously, this guy is one of the few people who I think the comparison to Duncan Edwards actually holds good. What a player we’ve got. 18 mil is looking like a fucking steal.

* Chicharito continues my love for goal scorers. When we lost Ruud, we lost a potent threat for sure. We lost somebody who always guaranteed goals – of whatever type. Hernandez fills that void. He is the proper poacher. Everything brilliant about him was highlighted in his movement for that first goal. First going this way, then going that way, before tapping in from the near post. It was just sublime to watch. He has added some passing into his arsenal as well and is constantly improving. Scary to think what he’ll be like in a few years time.

* Rio and Evans partnership has not been the greatest so far. In fact, I was surprised Sir Alex did not go with Jones in CB because he has the ability to match Davies strength-wise. However, we’ve not had many close calls and DDG did pull off one decent save and a good punch which should do his confidence some good.

* Carrick’s arrival signified what Tom Cleverly brings to the table. This is definitely not a knock on Carrick, but he is definitely a safe player. Each time he is one the ball, he seems to look for the safer option out which mostly involves passing back. Now, this is not a problem because that is part of his JD in recent times. But it does highlight just how good Tom has been in recent performances going forward.

* What can you say about Rooney? My only fear for him is burnout. He seems to be all over the place in all games. I hope he can keep his energy up for the rest of the season. If he does, we are looking at Wayne’s best season.

* Contrary to what Bolton supporters think, this game is an example of refereeing at its finest. He didn’t let things get out of hand. Had he not booked that ugly player Davies, then he would’ve gotten more leeway to put similar fouls. He has made some great calls which has kept Bolton under control and that is what has made this game resemble a football match. In the hands of another referee, the game would’ve spiraled out of control because Bolton’s only intent was to kick us off the park earlier on.

I also apologize for thinking this would be a difficult game for us. We’re in some form right now and long may it continue.

I agree that this game highlighted the difference between Tom and Carrick. But it also showed how useful Carrick is in games like this when he drops back and helps out defensively. We will need that in our hardest games iN England and Europe.

* Anderson’s long range passing was also pretty fucking good. We’ve already seen his link up play with Tom in recent games but the way he picked out our wide men today with some passes was pretty telling. It definitely looks like Scholesy’s retirement has broken his shackles and he has become a complete mid-fielder. And he’s still only 23.

* Ryan Giggs – what a substitute to bring on when you are 4-0 up. His pass to Nani for Rooney’s hat-trick goal was something else. The dude’s 38 man. What the fuck does he smoke everyday? Will somebody please tell me?

* Troy, I wasn’t being diplomatic at all. You have to use softer words when a player was bad and you’re making him out to be good. But I was making an honest observation. Don’t put me in the same bracket as Carrick bashers. Carrick is a completely different player from Tom and that was what I highlighted.

* De Gea’s passing is something out of this world. Not much has been made of it so far because everybody wants him to fail, but his long ball to release Hernandez which forced a mistake out of Jaaskeleinen was the best of the lot. He is gaining his complete confidence back and has another clean sheet to his name. The lad’s a keeper as someone pointed out the other day.

* We’ve scored 47 goals in total including pre-season. If this was Barcelona, the world will be wanking at our every touch. Fuck them. The main thing I want from this season is for us to get our top goalscorer record back. We lost it Chelsea the season before last and I fucking want it back. Somebody should highlight that to Sir Alex if he doesn’t know already.

What a fucking performance from the lads again! As I said, we’re in some form right now. AVB will be shitting his pants in preparation for next week.

Just want to echo/ add to everything thats been said. That boy Jones is phenomenal, surprised with his dribbling and pace tbh. Great performance by the whole team. Evra was excellent going forward, he has been getting a lot of slack lately, but whenever the armband is on he seems to perform MUCH better than usual, which in itself is a scary thought. Rooney and Chico. Best partnership or what? Would have liked to see Chico get a hattrick as well, but not going to complain too much. 5 goals away from home is fantastic enough.

Funny how Nani and Young are alternating in terms of their impact. Each game one of them manages to get all the assists etc. Today was Nanis day. He played exceptionally well. I was so impressed with his tracking back and natural dribbling ability. He is a born star. Just needs to improve his consistency.

I was laughing when I looked at our bench and the players on the stands. They all have to try to beat this first lot to try and get games. At the moment, that seems like an impossible task. The competition for places this year is bloody intense. May the best 11 win.

Only downside was Cleverely getting injured. That Davies scum doesnt know when to stop. The tackle was dangerous and totally uncalled for. He get away without a yellow card even, UGH. I do hope TC makes a quick recovery.

Ohhh happy days.

Roll on Benfica and those chavs.
