  41. TheCANTONA says:

    Come on Reds!!

  42. dannysoya says:

    LMAAAOOO. Spanish commentators are THE FUCKING BEST. totally enjoying this commentary so far haha.

  43. seanmthered says:

    Cheers for the links all, nervy last 15 there COME ON UNITED!

  44. Costas says:

    Haha, we didn’t get a big side in the Carling Cup? I guess we will meet Shity in the semis.

  45. Utd4life says:

    So far so good.. Another 45 mins to go..C’mon lads!!!!!!!!!

  46. Samuel - united WE stand says:

    danny – i’m presuming you understand spanish or you’re just intrigued by their reaction to every incident in the game? lol.

  47. Costas says:

    Anyway, much better this week. We still have issues we have to work through, but what i like is how we defend more as a team this week. At times some lads get in each other’s way. It’s not pretty, but that’s commitment!

    Cue Balaji with his Cleverley wanking now. :P

  48. Samuel - united WE stand says:

    Crystal palace won’t come old trafford and lie down, they have some good young players so lets not count our chickens before they’re hatched.

  49. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    This just in: Evans is a great defender when his partner is named Nemanja Vidic.

    Hell, our whole team fucking plays better with Vidic in the line up. He gives the insurance that our forward thinking play this season needs. And the whole defense just looks more composed with him in it. Which begs the question? :?:

    And fuck all you skeptics. Tom Cleverley is the fucking Messiah. :D

    As expected, much better performance overall. Though I still don’t like the fact that we were sitting too deep towards the end of the half. Everton had far too many shots on goal for my liking. Though they were not really dangerous, we shouldn’t be allowing that.

    Also, it almost feels to me that we have been starting every game brilliantly, but then our game sort of fizzles into nothing from the 30th to the 45th minute. It happened against City as well which is what led to their goal. I don’t know what is the reason for it, but I wish we could maintain our tempo over the course of an entire half.

  50. dannysoya says:

    @Samuel. Their reactions i don’t know shit in spanish. LOL their commentary is super lively haha.

  51. jim says:

    @Costas
    Another chance for Berba and co to impress

  52. aimanunited says:

    we are playing 4-3-3 barca style but there’s nobody really on the right wing… sometimes park and jones making a few run down the side. Most of our attacks come from the left side… I know that welbeck suppose to play left wing but why is rooney stay on the left as well? I’d say bring Nani in to balance that formation…

  53. Rossi says:

    Carling cup: arsenal v city, chelsea v liverpool, united v palace, cardiff v rovers

  54. TheCANTONA says:

    @jim
    nice drawing, thanks mate…

  55. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    Lol @ Costas. He called it before I came in with my half time thoughts. Guess United fans are psychic. :lol:

  56. Costas says:

    Balaji on the spot. ;)

    Everton fans must be wondering what happened to the STRIKER they sold us 7 years ago. Not that Rooney is having a bad game mind you. ;)

    @Jim

    Hope so, but it’s too tight for him to come on. Maybe if we score a 2nd and we want to retain possession?

  57. Zibbie says:

    Good morning, good day all!!!!!!!!!!!

  58. jim says:

    @Costas
    Hey i was refering to carling cup, had we got a big team they might have not played

  59. Costas says:

    Thankfully Baines didn’t get his shot down quick enough. Next time our wall might consider jumping. They are allowed to, you know.

    @Balaji

    Well personally I don’t think he’s the messiah, but he does bring certain qualities to the side that I like. Don’t know how much of a difference he would have made last week, but it’s no coincidence that our play is described as intricate whenever he plays…

    The problem for me is what happens when we don’t have the ball. We can retain for long periods, but that’s not the way to defend properly. The minute our opponents gain possession, they find their way outside our box far too easily. That’s not just a symptom we only have today mind you.

  60. Zibbie says:

    Rooney finding a new position, for me a natural progression. I have thought for years a Totti type first then deeper and deeper in the MF as he ages.

  61. Costas says:

    @Jim

    Oh, I see, Yeah you are right about that. Berba has to be a shoe in for that game, lol.

  62. Zibbie says:

    2 very important parts of a winning football club, Cross Bar and Own Goal.

  63. redcrab says:

    Fellaini… say what you want but I’ve thought for a while that we could do worse than snap him up. He’s hard as nails, and plays with a real passion. Just the sort of player that we’ve been missing imho.

  64. aimanunited says:

    evans gave the ball away and chicha with a chance but he cannot beat his marker by other means than running…

  65. dannysoya says:

    Cleverley injured AGAIN?/ Great just fucking great. FUCK!!! and he was playing well too.

  66. highestdevill1166 says:

    TC again??!!!!

  67. TheCANTONA says:

    OH NO, TOM… :(

  68. Chaosred says:

    Crocked cleverly always injured

  69. Saad says:

    Great! Cleverley injured again. We’ll be ordinary again for three months.

  70. Zibbie says:

    Oh fuck, come on lad be well TC.

  71. RedFury says:

    hope it’s not gonna take another month for TC..

  72. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    Fuck me! Me and my big mouth. :(

  73. Saad says:

    Danny takes one step-over or shimmy too many. Someone remind him he’s no CR7.

  74. Alom says:

    Our Midfield looks weak without Cleverly already..
    big props to the guy for having such a strong impact on our team..
    hopefully he isnt our for too long..

  75. Saad says:

    Someone remind me when we last had a credible run into their box and got a shot on target.

    If that isn’t another proof that we need a creative midfielder, I dont know what is.

  76. TheCANTONA says:

    The Berb will come in..

  77. highestdevill1166 says:

    love puNANI! and FINALLY berba comin on. hopefully!

  78. Saad says:

    Well done Jonny. Your lame-ass pass just got Evra knocked down.

  79. Saad says:

    Sexy has just been brought back!

  80. Saad says:

    Problem is, United players just aren’t genius enough to play around The Berb. They can’t anticipate his genius passes.

  81. Saad says:

    Tell me that back heel flip wasn’t genius!

  82. The Big Red says:

    come on berba, get in there!!! lets see some berba love!

  83. Saad says:

    We move sexier with The Berb on the field.

  84. The Big Red says:

    we look threatening only when we get the ball wide. otherwise our midfield puts in a good shift, but no creative spark in there

  85. Saad says:

    Why does the racist bastard Terry always get redeeming goals during a crisis in his life?

  86. Saad says:

    Even Fellaini can’t knock The Berb off the ball.

    Everyone and I mean EVERYONE who advocates for Chico starting ahead of Berbatov is a friggin dweeb.

    EVERYONE!

  87. Alom says:

    Anyone else think that Berbatov should try playing “in the hole”..??
    infront of the midfield.. behind the defence..

    im sure his is ability he can control a game..

  88. aimanunited says:

    Tom is good player so did hargo but they can do nothing if theyre injury prone…

  89. Saad says:

    i’m really impressed with Baines. He always finds his man with his inside passes or crosses.

  90. koolburn says:

    jonny evans can’t pass for nuts.. seriously zero technique

  91. Alom says:

    any1 got some working streams???? all of mine just died!! :|

  92. highestdevill1166 says:

    we playin like the underdogs!! this is unacceptlable!

  93. Saad says:

    Is cloning still illegal? We need 10 more Berbatovs.

  94. The Big Red says:

    the blues are coming at us in successive and stronger waves. and we dont have the best record of maintaining leads at goodison park

  95. Alom says:

    LOL @ Saad!!

    Loving the Berba-Love guys!!

    Berbatov is still king!!

  96. kiccha says:

    for Fuck sake . . stop slagging our own players and watch the match . .

  97. Saad says:

    Why does it appear as though we’re playing with 10 men? Have we frackin’ forgotten how to dominate games???

  98. Gobaye says:

    What is the green circle badge Alex ferguson is wearing today? Surely not a glazer related badge???

  99. aimanunited says:

    Were at risk of conceding late goals here by letting everton do as they please… Sir alex should’ve replace rooney, not welbeck… come on united!!!

  100. TheCANTONA says:

    @saad
    i think berba should playing ahead welbeck

  101. Samuel - united WE stand says:

    How is cleverly injury prone?

  102. Alom says:

    so seriously.. any working streams guys?/

    thanks

  103. JC says:

    It would be nice if we could maintain possession for more than 5 secs in the last 20 mins or so.

  104. giggs12gerrard0 says:

    @samuel

    Mate Evra has been great in defence also today

  105. dannysoya says:

    Our second half has been SHOCKING. other than the welbeck shot i cannot remember any other time Howard was significantly troubled. CHRIST. something has to be done.

  106. Saad says:

    That was harsh. Only his hair was offside.

  107. Saad says:

    @TheCantona

    With the utmost respect to you but…

    DUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

  108. Saad says:

    @dannysoya

    Glad to see one fan has his eyes open.

  109. Saad says:

    Into stoppage time!

    Do Everton still have Mikel Arteta? ;)

  110. Saad says:

    That could have been given as a penalty.

  111. Saad says:

    It’s pathetic that we have to resort to time-wasting.

  112. TheCANTONA says:

    @Saad
    welbeck is good, but he let possesion go very often. He should try hold the ball better, something Berb could do.
    Meanwhile Chicha’s movement is great, just take a look at his goals against lvfool & everton…

  113. The Big Red says:

    not the reaction we wanted, too nervy… on another day, everton would have got something out of this.

    3 pts all the same….

  114. Saad says:

    Berb got the header! End of discussion about the Berb. He’s the best.

  115. Dicko says:

    Piss poor but after last week we’ll just take the 3 points and move on….

  116. thedonmassawe says:

    3 points is all that is important for now

  117. Saad says:

    We won, but we still stink.

  118. Zibbie says:

    3 fucking points.
    I love Man Utd
    I love Man Utd
    I love Man Utd

  119. JC says:

    I’d say that was one of the ugliest 3 pts I’ve seen in a long time, but it’s still 3 pts at a place we haven’t picked up 3 pts lately. I’ll take it but that 2nd half performance was embarassing.

  120. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    @Saad, Actually that is exactly the reason why Sir Alex brought on Berbatov. We were always going to sit back, so from an attacking perspective there is no difference between Berba and Chicha apart from the fact that Berba’s touch is better overall. The reason Berba was brought on was to provide insurance against Everton’s big men at the back.

  121. Saad says:

    @TheCANTONA

    I dont care. Berbatov, Rooney and Jones have to start every game in some capacity whatsoever. Fill the rest of the positions with horses-for-courses.

  122. Utd4life says:

    Fuck me, we barely got out of there alive. Not at all happy with the 2nd half performance but I’ll take the win. Some of the lads had huge brainfarts at crucial times.

    p.s..Cleverley makes a HUGE fucking difference in the midfield.

  123. scan74 says:

    fuck off saad

    hard fought win well done the shirts

    keep the faith

    19

  124. TheCANTONA says:

    What a game! This games remind me why I loves premiership instead Serie A…

  125. aimanunited says:

    Happy with the 3 points but we were lucky that everton is not that good with finishing, it’ll be a different story against slightly better teams… hope cleverley is ok though…

  126. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    We were already inviting pressure on ourselves, but once Tom got injured all attacking play from us just stopped. We stopped going forward unless it was for a break. Not advocating that he is, in fact, the Messiah, but it is pretty obvious that most of our intricate, creative, fluid play is flowing through him when he is playing.

    Performances was always going to get second preference to the result today. You don’t come back from a 1-6 humiliation to romp a team like Everton to victory in their own backyard. 3 points is all that matters and we can move on now.

    Still would like to know what’s the deal with Carrick though.

  127. TheCANTONA says:

    @saad
    wont happend though, i know, u know, we know that..

  128. Utd4life says:

    I’m sorry to say this but Evans had a poor game. Jones and Vidic bailed him out on many occassions.

  129. Costas says:

    Well I won’t moan. All week long I’ve said lets get the win and get the hell out of Goodison. First win there in 4 years. Nice one lads.

  130. Samuel - united WE stand says:

    you keep banging on about berba like he is maradona, fucking hell. fergie picks the team and if he feels berba hasn’t done enough to warrant a start then i agree with him, he sees them in training everyday not you or i, everyone plays for the team not for the happiness of berbatov.

    In conclusion a win is a win, i said yesterday that if we match them for fight then we can get something and a win at everton, a ground we haven’t won at for four years is an achievement, now we can slowly but surely regain form, simple as that.

  131. Zelh says:

    3 points, it’s all that matters atm. But poor performance by almost everyone again.

  132. kiccha says:

    we cannot win every match 5-0 ffs . . a win is a win . . if you always want cricket scores . .go follow Spanish league . . :-@

  133. TheCANTONA says:

    Watching renties vs le arse now. Great match…

  134. Zibbie says:

    Well good day all, and all is RED!
    Lil Pea gets another.
    Vida is back.
    Fellini is a beast.
    I like one or two beasts on a team.
    TC be well and heal, do not push ligaments like Rooney and re-injure a few times. It then can be months before your healthy.

  135. Utd4life says:

    @Balaji.. Good question mate. Where on God’s green earth is Carrick?? Not that Fletcher had a bad game but Carrick would have steadied the ship. Guess, we will see him against Galati. By the way, Parky was my MOM. He was everywhere today.

  136. Costas says:

    Like Balaji said, TC’s injury really derailed all attacking plans. Plus, like I said at half time, we don’t defend high up the pitch for some reason. Don’t know why that is. Can’t remember the last time our box was loaded with so many reds so many times.

    Anyone heard what’s up with Tom? Hopefully he just twisted his ankle or something. He was back on the bench in the end. We don’t want another injury crisis…

  137. Hans says:

    Glad for the final whistle after poor, poor second half. A win is a win though and we should build on this.

  138. Saad says:

    @Balaji

    There are more differences between Berba and Chico.

    Berba passes better.

    Berba holds the ball better.

    Berba shoots better.

    Berba can defend better.

    Berba can link up better.

    Berba can go one-on-one better.

    Chico just gets into better positions and has a better strike-rate inside the box. I’m yet to see Chico beat the offside trap and outrun defenders with his supposed blistering pace.

  139. Balaji Sivaraman says:

    @Samuel, You keep banging on about how you know that Berbatov hasn’t done enough. How the fuck do you know this? Stateside has eloquently argued countless times that Berbatov not getting picked has nothing to do with the man itself, it has everything to do with the fact that Welbeck and Chicharito are much younger and better prospects for our future. They need game time and that is the reason why they are constantly getting picked ahead of the Berb. It “doesn’t” have anything to do with Berbatov’s form. Hell, he hasn’t played enough for anyone to judge how his form actually is.

    Seriously, this is getting beyond ridiculous now. I am getting pissed off at every second comment saying Berbatov is not playing because he hasn’t performed well in the matches on in training. Just look at the way he helped us keep possession in the end to run down the clock. I can guarantee that Welbz or Chicha for all their good work could not have done that.

    Fuck, this is pissing me off.

  140. parryheid says:

    Rot stopped Ta very much.

  141. Costas says:

    The Berb didn’t do a lot up front, but the way he retained possession for us there in the end was genius. Get in line ladies. He’s mine. :)

    On a serious note, maybe Fergie has stambled on a good tactic for away games by playing further back. It makes his partnership with Chicharito less effective, but it gives us better control of the midfield.

  142. Zibbie says:

    Clean sheet and a dirty win.
    19
    19
    19

  143. Costas says:

    I meant by playing Rooney further back.

  144. Saad says:

    Berba is no Maradona and I for one have never made that comparison. Stop putting words in other people’s mouths.

    But the fact remains Berbatov is our most talented footballer in the squad (now that Scholesy’s retired) and his quality needs to be on the field. You put enough quality on the field, you’re bound to create chances and make things happen. It’s called the frackin’ law of averages.

    Berba, Rooney, Nani and Jones have to be on the field at any given game.

  145. Zelh says:

    Morrison just scored for the reserve.

  146. Costas says:

    Guys, no need for the Berba arguements. Balaji makes a good point that he hasn’t lost his spot because he hasn’t done well. It’s not his fault he isn’t a yard faster and 3-4 years younger. Personally I accept that no matter what, Roon, Chicha and Danny will get picked ahead of him and I try to enjoy whatever minutes he gets on the pitch. Is he better on the ball than Javier or Danny? Maybe. But it’s clear what Sir Alex values in his strikers at the moment and that’s speed and the ability to link up well with Wayne.

  147. Zibbie says:

    hello

  148. Zibbie says:

    Wont let me post a cool poem?

  149. NotoriousRedDevil says:

    I have to agree with Samuel – united WE stand. Saad and others you are wrong.

    Berbatov is no Maradona he doesn’t like cocaine!

  150. thedonmassawe says:

    any link to the reserves game?

  151. Zibbie says:

    If Berba lived in South America in the late 70′s early 80′s he would have.

  152. Saad says:

    Glad to see Arsenal doing well. Hope they take points off of Shitty.

  153. WillieRedNut says:

    Good first half, indifferent second. We got what we came for. Thought Evra and Vidic were on their game. Makes a big difference when your experience players turn in big performances. Well done little pea. Another important goal from him. Great cross by Evra though. Watching Arsenal, Chelsea game. How bad are the rentboys at the back? Everyone has focused on us, but they have been conceding goals for fun. Back to United. It wasn’t a great performance by United. After last week, we had to get the 3 points. First win since 2007 at Everton. Says it all really.

  154. Zelh says:

    btw if Ole’s team wins tomorrow they are danish champions! :)

  155. Zelh says:

    BREAKING NEWS: Smalling missing another month. :(

  156. Zibbie says:

    Jello Wolfie, 3 big points their, 3-3 now.

  157. dq says:

    @Zelh

    Molde are playing tomorrow and it’s a Norwegian league :-) )

  158. Zibbie says:

    4 fucking weeks, Rafa’s back in training.

  159. SINGH7 says:

    Hahaha john terry , what a clown !!!!!

  160. Costas says:

    Yeah, but we have an international break, so it’s not all doom and gloom.

    Of course at United, 4 weeks out means 6-7 really…

  161. Saad says:

    Viva John Terryyyyyy…

    Viva John Terryyyyyy…

    Viva John Terryyyyyyyyyyy…

  162. SINGH7 says:

    Couldn’t happen to a bigger Cunt !!!!

  163. Saad says:

    @Costas

    Are you confirming what Hargreaves bitched about regarding our medical staff??? ;)

  164. SINGH7 says:

    What a finish by RVP

  165. Saad says:

    Allez le Arse!

  166. Saad says:

    Chelski conceding 5 at home.

    The world has turned upside-down.

  167. Zelh says:

    Like said before.
    portuguese league is totally different to english premier league.

    Welcome to England Villas-Boas.

  168. Costas says:

    @Saad

    Confirm it? Heck, I’ve bitched about it long before Hargreaves ever did, lol. As soon as I saw Swire tend to the assistant, I thought “there goes that guy’s season”. :D

    No superlatives can descrive how good Van persie’s been this season to be playing as well as he has been in that team is sensational massive massive credit to him hopefully he doesn’t sign a new contract and fergie can tempt him to join us, a boy can dream ;) . COME ON UNITED, on a relevant note i’m in love with that little pea more then I am with my own girlfriend. 19
