Thank heavens for your live blog. Sick and tired of United matches being overlooked for broadcast by Ten Sports on Champions League nights here in India.
@Wazza
Actually because Ten Sports have taken over the rights for Spanish league they will show the CL games of the Spanish sides and ten Action will telecast the games of the English teams
Looking forward to the game. Hope they open up at home and we can make more headway on attack.
Barca currently tied up with Ruben K 1-1 after 70 minutes, see how the minows hold out.
feel for u wazza, we had most fans around the world ,special in asia and africa ,even vs non league u must broadcast our game,remember last few years ,a hk media overlook our caling cup third round game, i call 50 united fans to complain that media by phone.
Just seen the team….Not sure why we have 3 strikers on the bench. Surely it would have made sense to have Obertan on bench instead of Macheda ?
Nice to see Ferdinand back though
AIG – I thought that was just a wild theory! In that case, how do they have Inter Milan game on for tonight? Sucks for me because I don’t get Zee sports on my connection.
buytheclub2012 – Did it change things?
AIG – Ok mate, are you feeling confident tonight? Very strong team the boss has out there.
Isn’t Valencia vs Man Utd live in India???
first comment….for da first tym
@Wazza
Ten Action is Now the main the ‘soccer channel’ of Ten as you know it will show only soccer. hence it will show the games of the english teams. on Ten Sports they dont have any HT of FT analysis, Fortunate i get ten Action.
@willie
hello mate. The team looks strong but Rio, Carrick, rafael and Anderson have not played much.Thats the only reason i am worried. Lose today and we will be in big trouble. SAF had no option but to play a really strong team. Going for a draw. That would be a good result. Should beat them at OT
@The Real AB
the match is live in india….its on a new channel called ten action(old zee sports)….inter match is commin on ten sports
Yeah heard a lot about it man. Ten sports is beginning to suck. For starters, they have a four hour broadcast of Man City TV every week. Man City TV???!!! Good god.
I have Dish TV South Super Silver Pack. Rs. 150 and I get all sports channels (Ten Sports, Ten Action, Neo Sports, Neo Cricket, Espn, Star, Star Cricket. What else can we ask for Rs. 150 pm (about 3 dollars or less than 2 pounds)
Going by AIG’s comments I think Ten Action will show our match.
gaurav12931 – LOL
the “first comment” bit I mean
yeah wazza.
show LFC TV, Chelsea Tv and man Shitty TV. Dont show MUTV anymore. Man City TV and Liverpool TV are my key sources of comic entertainment these days
Lovely line-up! definitely going to break the spain jinx tonight!… Rafael, pls grab this opportunity with both hands and legs!.. United 3-1 valencia.. lol
@ Wazza – Ten Sports it’s a Dubai based channel so that explains Man City TV love ;P
@ AIG – Thanks mate
What AIG said might be the key. How these 4 players perform today.
The Real AB
yeah. ten Action will telecast our match. Ten Sports has Inter Vs. Bremen.
I meant @gaurav12931 instead of @AIG.
Could someone please, oh please provide me with a live streaming link to watch the game.
I’m kinda uneasy over both Anderson AND Carrick starting the match after being out for quite abit :/ Hope things go well!
Now Thank You AIG.. lol..
Good to see Rafa playing. I love the kid hope he comes good.
plenty of streams over at
http://www.myp2p.eu
@The Real AB
Welcome mate
I’ve got a sneaky feeling for a 2 1 win, Berbs and Nani to do the damage.
@fred
i look like a total idiot dont i wid tht first commnt…..i sent it looooong long ago bt my internet connection god screwd and by the tym it cam bac the post ws too late….its jus one of those sic moments
@gaurav12931 – LOL. Not to worry, mate. Enjoy the match.
@willie
Hope so.
Enjoy the game everyone. COME ON UNITED!!!
@willierednut – I hope you’re right. Should be a good game at least, our line-up looks good and Valencia play some nice football. For some reason I can see another 0-0 but I hope I’m wrong and we get a few goals.
@ AIG & Wazza: Doesnt Tata Sky offer Ten Action? I know they dont show Zee Sports.
Free live streams: http://redlog.pl/video.html?valencia
Sorry if I’m being dumb but new to this Live blog lark, where is the team stated??
Keep your eyes on #10 Juan Mata tonight guys. Every time I’ve seen him he’s been class.
Great line-up
Rubin again held Barca.
Enjoy the match guys and im pretty confident tht we are good enough to win here..providing nani,berba continue thier form and rio isnt outplayed..
@Jeet
Zee Sports got renamed to Ten Action and I don’t think it’s available on Tata Sky.
For us Sports Lovers in India Dish TV is the best.
Fred – Yeah, It’s been 2 nil nil draws out here before, hope we change that tonight.
Any team news? And any good streams?
Fuckin Cmon United!
Believe.
@Tomo1982 – the team is
VDS
Rafael, Rio, Vidic, Evra
Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson
Nani, Berbatov, Park
Bench: Kuszczak, Smalling, O’Shea, Gibson, Owen, Chicharito, Macheda
Anyone remember Beckham’s goal the one time we won in Spain against La Coruna? God, it was a good one.
Costas – from the games aainst La Coruna i remember Dusher and Bartez
@The Real AB: Thanks, man. Feeling might pissed off after a hard day at work…the bastards..have agood mind to switch service providers.
@Corea
I am trying to forget about both of them, lol. SOme very good matches with that team.
Is it a good sign ? 3 striker at the bench ? hmm..
I got my starting XI spot on!!!! Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa…..
~The-next-SAF
PS: Seems like Rafa did not make that pass at cathy, after all…LOL
@Jeet
No, turns out Wes Brown was the one that made the pass…

Carrick poor primadonna
We seem to be giving away the ball cheaply…first carrick and then rio…
does Michael Carrick think he is playing for Valencia this evening??? He has passed the ball to a player in white more times than he has to a player in red.
really nice to see Raf, Ando, Rio and Carrick back in the mix….hoping Ando does well for us tonight. Dont know what it is about Anderson, but I really really want him to make a good claim for a sure starter in the midfield…on his day (which granted is few and far between at the moment) hes a brilliant player!
Every time I hear the name Valencia I think of Antonio
we aren’t playing overly well but with rio there more assuring in defence. Carrick I’ve been a supporter of hoping he’ll regain the form he had a couple years ago, well a few years ago now.
We’re looking a bit listless.
any good links for the match plz post guys
We suck…. we suck…. weeee suuck…. What about that Carick guy….. he is worst then all the 5 latest midfield flops…. Kleberson, Fortune looked like Maradona compared to Carrick…. Park…..They are not suppose to be ManUTD players…. I am big and old fan of ManUTD and by far, this squad performs worst football in last 10generations… I hope Valencia beat us…. Hopefully that will wake up some of the old spirits …..

Stuff through bet360
Quick question.. is this a training match?
Poor game from both sides.
PJS is off his ideal position.. I don’t know why Sir Alex put him there.
Lets hope for a better second half.. I took a furlough day and its better worth it!
I feel bad for the travelling fans.
“Manchester united can counter with pace with park” Don’t hear that often.
Looks so hopeless. Suprised valencia is still awed of us.
irritated..
It’s obvious what we are looking for isn’t it? All the lines are way back.
man if anybody sees nani pls clout him on the head… can’t put a freekick properly?!
Park needs to be replaced either by a striker or a true winger which we don’t have any. I find it bvery frustrating they kept attacking from the left when it was very obvious it did not work.
@Musicman
fuck you and your stupid comments. wanker
Evra and Park both look sluggish. There is absolutely no pace on the ball. Need to get some life into the match.
Costas – that’s why Fergie has been on his feet ? Clueless in attack. Very academic.
Evra caught again in defence like eveyr other game this season. Maybe lacks a bit of confidence.
Carrick no comm. but good enough last minutes of the half for him.
TheRadLegion – put Nani on the left and you will see Parky.
lol that last counter attack for us just summed up park… how shite did he look.. real fucking slow and lost the ball like he was a kid playing with the olders… pathetic… i wouldnt mind bebe coming on from the start of this 2nd half
sigh
That half was dire, we’re just not clicking. There doesn’t seem to be any fire in the team, in the first half anyway. One can only hope for a better 2nd half
@Corea
Probably. It seems that his priority is defending. He might fancy going for the win in the last few minutes.
unleash the mexican…
bebe’s not in the squad right?
Carrick’s done well so far, considering the amount of games he has played this season. Park looks lost out there on the left. I wonder if Fergie might consider swithcing Park and Nani’s wings.
@obertanthenewstar
Bebe isn’t on the bench.
@Corea:
I think we should switch back to 4-4-2. It was clear we were slightly outclassed in midfield. God knows what happen if they went full throttle in the second half. We couldn’t afford to concede a goal in the second half.
I prefer if we substitute Park with Owen (for a more creative play) or Hernandez (for speed), then have Nani, Anderson, Carrick and Fletcher (left to right) in the midfield.
Those wankers commentating on ITV are pissing me off
just came back from wasting my time trying to search for a restaurant that shows the match. ARRGHHH. Suddenly they become so stupid, refusing to show the match even though they are 24hour restaurants. So the waiters just sit there loking very stupid without any customer at all, even though they could get more than 10 customers who all want to watch the match!
Costas – he was pretty irritated i think when seeing our clueless attacking actions. at least i saw it like this. defeat wouldn’t be the end of the world. for me and i hope for SAF we should worry for the future. but when we saw the draw we looked again for the qualification after 4-5 games because of the busy schedule as always for our players.
for fuck’s sake, these are Valencia not Sheffield fucking united. WE’re not playing badly. trust me, we re gonna win this one . 1-0 Owen in the last quarter of the match will get it
@Corea Evra has been looking listless for quite a few games now. Somewhat slow in chasing when pedro tricked past him. Also the burst while going forward is not there at all ..
@Keano:
We’re not playing badly? hmm I don’t know about you but I’m watching Valencia v United game.. they both looked miserable.
@Corea
If he was up for that reason, then all he had to do was order the midfield to go a bit further up the pitch. They are too far from Berba.
inter 3 bremen 0??? i’ll be damned!!
Understand for once. Park is a right winger. Nani is a right winger. Obertan is a right winger.
Crying for every other player when any other player plays a bad game is a bit stupid thing to do.
It’s like being desperate. United isn’t a desperate club.
@TheRadLegion we’re not playing badly compared to them.
@Costas..
I think the problem was not they was instructed to play deep.. it’s just we kept giving the ball away.. no chance to push forward.
Costas – he doesn’t want to concede and lose. that’s his main priority as always while playing away, not doubts about that. but he was clearly interested in what we’ve done in attack.
Ordering to play a bit more forward contradicts the priority.
@Keano:
The last few minutes they were the better team.. at least they could string a few passes.. we just could not. Hope for a better second.. see ya all
lets hope for some action at their end now…
I cant wait until 62mins…….. when Gibson comes on for Anderson and bangs one in from outside the box! Only way we will score tonite away from home.
Hi everyone,
Was held up in traffic and missed the first half. What’s the game been like?
At the half, 0-0, really poor. Spent most of the time in our half.
Lads need to get some confidence. Nani should not be taking our free kicks.
Come On United. 45 minutes to show your class.
Nani is going to deliver.
@supermanc: There’s no way we are going to “score away from home” w/o Rooney…
~me-in-foul-mood
@Toms:…and then we will get Bebe
great…even pavlyuchenko scored…
SAF was right at half time – no way Valencia could keep up the ferocious pressing of the first half. Starting to see us coming into this more now and wouldn’t even be surprised if we score here.
Park has to come off though – he’s just not good enough on the wing at this level…..
Rio doing remarkably well though given lack of first team football this season….
FINALLY.. Go on CHICHARITO..!!!
I cannot remember United playing as poorly as we are playing this season. We lack cutting edge big time. No sense of urgency at all. Have to feel sorry for Berba tonight. No service whatsoever.
Evra, Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson, Park, Nani were very poor tonight. If we survived without conceding, it will be a good result.
well on this performance , we would be lucky to with the devon and cornwall sunday league milk cup!!!, nvm champ league!!
Good shift by Berba….was left too isolated though.
fking quality !!!
HERNANDEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fucking heeelllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chicharito!!!!
GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL…!!!!
HERNANDEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fuckin hellllllll.. chica
Kiss that badge!!!!!!!!
go on son kiss that badge, feel the history run through yer viens…
goalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Stand up if you hate Jim fucking Beglin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LIKE a FUCKING COBRA
CHICHARITOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Nani is absolutley aewsome at the moment!! confidence is so high and he just looks dangerous everytime he gets the ball!!
jim beglin , loves the dippers…. hes doom and gloom listen to the old fker
Finaly an away win.thanks to chicha.
brilliant brilliant result! clean sheet with it!
An away win. More importantly, an away clean sheet at long last!
Fletcher at the end: “Kiko, well done on the goal, fuckin brilliant”
phew ! great goal. i forgive everything. great great goal.
yey we won! i watched it online..
imo, macheda should be our third choice striker.
rededge, Nani was hit and miss for me. Did good things and also gave the ball away more than Oshea has done in recent games.
Yes great unexpected result. I’m still disappointed with the performance but it could have been worse.
Slightly better team lost today.. but this is football we’re talking about. Great first touch by Hernandez.. world class one.
Gotta love United. Would sign 0-0 draw at start but hell! Lads & SAF did it again!
muhahahahahaha….
Anyone hear Fletcherinhos comments at the end .
“Hey Chico fucking brilliant on the goal.”
One thing Chicharito has he is ficking lethal in the box.
though we were pretty shite all night long but hey a wins a win. Better to build up the momentum untilo you are in top gorm at the end of the season.
Never mind the win away which was brilliant but hey a CLEAN SHEET!!!!! AT LAST
frustrating night turn out a brilliant one! yeay! i can sleep well! 430am here. hehe.
Yes, Jim Beglin I too thought we might nick something – before the game, but in actual fact I thought we won deservedly.
It wasn’t us that had to introduce the changes first, it was Valencia.
Sod ITV. Exploit Rafael my arse.
As I was wondering, Fergie went for it in the end.
Well done lads. 2nd win in Spain in 19 attempts! Great handling of the strikeforce by Fergie. Now he has a dilemma for Saturday. And lets not forget that little Mikey is still in with a shout.
Glad to have Carrick and Rio back. The spine of the team looked more solid.
Oh and well done Rafael. Tremendous performance.
If only we could keep Rio fit.
“If you don’t put them in, you can’t know what you’ve got.”
Sir Matt Busby
Macheda Chicharito
Goal.
This club was built on defiance. It now in the face of great adversity is still defiant.
It will always remain defiant.
The shirt is a symbol of defiance.
We defy those that do not believe. In youth we trust – all over again – once more.
Guys..this is what i mean…when we play with intensity, it was so good to watch us attacking, the goal was brilliant!!! Now back to the Premier League and lets play with the same fucking intensity and a very solid defence like we had tonight!!!
finally a clean sheet…
Costas – Rafael was immense and Rio’s presence was felt.
Hernandez’s goal just awesome. Great buy and well done for the scouts.
@Costas yeah Rio is so assuring today
Costas – lol. added faster than me
“shmoo says:
well on this performance , we would be lucky to with the devon and cornwall sunday league milk cup!!!, nvm champ league!!”
go on then. even without the goal, a draw at the Mestalla against the in-form Valencia would not have been a disaster. The way we played tonight is exactly the way SAF wants us to play away in the CL – albeit I think he would have wanted better passing and more control in midfield then we showed tonight. He doesn’t go for the jugular anymore; instead he soaks up the pressure before slowly turning up the heat, or countering. Even when we beat Milan and narrowly lost at Bayern, we didn’t exactly come and play full throttle. I think it was in Milan where in the early stages Ronaldinho in particular was having a blinder and scored?
I thought Kiko brought some added bite up front. Anderson had a good run out but starved of service. Let’s remember before the Carrick bashing that he too needs to get match fit. All in all, a good game for Rio, Carrick and Anderson. Nice to hear the commentators saying “What does Owen have to do to get a game” implicitly saying SAF is unfair and seeing in the next moment that Kiko and Chicha have combined to score!
10 bucks says O’Shea starts this weekend though!
It also kind of looked that CQ
nani was one of the better players on that pitch for us….the big improvement that i saw in his game today was that when most of the team are playing crap he was still fighting hard till the whistle is blown..it was he who carried the ball from our half and fed macheda for the assist….
i for a moment thought macheda would go for the shot…but thank god he kept cool and put across nice ball to chicharito…
It also kind of looked that CQ was back in the fold. A very disciplined tactical European away win.
Carrick’s interceptions in the first half were important and it would be unfair to single out a player for giving away possession (as I just did with Nani – sorry Nani) because they all were guilty of that but that’s what happens when you’re lumping it up field. Chichas’ first touch for the goal was genius, no pussyfooting to the side – it was sublime and took the ball behind the first defender and his pace enabled him to surprise the other defender and finish superbly.
@MG
Wow!! What a piece, mate!!
xol – when we first heard of Chico’s signing and i watched videos with him on youtube the first thing that came to my mind was that he was confident with both feet.
@scruffynat
I was thinking the same about Owen, but Fergie knew better. That being said, we could see Owen start on Saturday. Berba run a lot in the 2nd half, but there were times when he wasn’t even getting the ball. The game needed the youngsters to hit Valencia with speed.
@Corea
Yeah, really great insticts by Chicha.
@ MG brilliant post mate.
Classic away performance, soak up the pressure, albeit, Valencia offered very little, then hit them with the sucker punch. Chica and kiko, well played lads. Thought the defense were solid, young Rafa played a performance that belied his years. Other players like Carrick and Ando got good minutes on the pitch and now we’ve got great options up front, which takes the pressure off Wayne and Berbatov.
Great Result. Great tactical display from SAF. Good team effort albeit with one or two players still not firing on all cyclinders – but it’s a team game and the team was good enough on the day. With so many young players the future looks great, though it still worries me a little that we were forced to drop in 3 players for their first major starts in some time in the same game – thankfully all 3 looked solid and came through unscathed. Without being too complacent that should now be qualification sorted.
Nani, Chicha, Kiko, Ando, Rafael were all excellent…nani, Chicha and Kiko combined really well for the goal…INTENSITY is the name of the game…come on SAF..please ensure that they keep this up..no more slack defending and laziness creeping in…we were looking more like ourselves in this game…
scruffynat chill out ffs, i said that comment with a massive tongue in my cheek……
@ Costas
Agreed about Berba. Worked so hard but couldn’t get a grip on the game because of lack of support. Midfield was quite poor with their support and passing tonight I feel. I do hope Owen starts Saturday though.
Wouldn’t it have been awesome though if Berba scored from his take-down and run into the box middle of the second half?
Agree with you completely about the look of CQ tactically. It looked spot on with the substitutions in particular coming across as being very intentional for that last burst in the game.
Now to get some fountain of youth potion for Rio.
Corea, yeh it’s hard to pick his strongest foot. Rest of the team need to practice chipping it over the top by the looks of it, if we’re to get the best out of him. I liked the way Kiko got involved physically. Seems he got up the goalie’s nose which is always a bonus.
berbs did one amazing solo run earlier…i could not believe that..he actually had speed beating the leftback down the flank and cutting in to strike a shot which the goalkeeper saved…wow!! That was sublime berbs..
@ Shmoo
I apologize for misreading you! Scrolling through the comments I read alot of negative talk before coming to yours… one thing led to another and…
I apologize.
sorry bout that!
@scruffynat
Yeah, in the end I never care who gets us the winner, but if Berbatov had scored that solo goal it would have been awesome. Showed good strength and speed there.
Great result, and a few postives from the game:
Chico took his goal fantastically, and with his link up wih Macheda show we have plenty of able cover even in Rooney’s absence… add to that Owen didn’t even feature.
A clean sheet, and overall a good performance from the back 4.
Good to see Ando, Rio and Carrick back… which brings us to the negatives…
Of those 3 only Rio had a decent display. Don’t really know what Carrick added at all. It certainly wasn’t the shield in front of the back 4 we have been supposedly missing, and it certainlt wasn’t any creativity – how many times did he give away the ball?
Anderson was very frustrating – lets hope its just a lack of playing for so long at this level.
Park – Sorry but I’m just not sure he is good enough to make our starting line up. At times last season he seemed to have added composure and a decent final ball/ shot, but this season it seems he reverted back to the headless chicken role – running around everywhere, plenty of energy and enthusiasm but ultimately adding nothing. Too many attacks break down when he gets the ball, or he panics and reverts to a pass back towards the defence, instead of continuing the attack.
Nani had his worst game of the season, and chose the wrong option too many times. He had a lull midway through the second half with a couple of half hearted challenges, but saying that finished strongly. He can’t do it every game though and he has had a great start to the season.
I would have taken a 1-0 away at the start of the game, so lets kick on from here and hope we step it up over the next few weeks.
@tomo i think you mean chicha mate.because chico is macheda
Berba was really unlucky with that run in the second half. He didn’t see Nani running down the right flank but made the good choice of directing that shot under the keeper’s legs.
He had a good shot in the first half just inches under the crossbar.
I think nani was a little behind mate…And two defenders tracking back…Hard…
redrider – yes. that’s why i didn’t emphasise it. Some great players have this quality but he was already focused on striking that ball. sometimes you can feel that someone should be at a place or another.
Had nani realised a lil bit earlier Berba was on his way then we’d have seen a goal then i’m sure… But, good work by Berba…Wonder why he dint just thump it with his left…
redrider – i think he did everything perfectly. just unlucky.
Loved how the commentator was emphasizing on Berba going 14 games without a Ch.League goal. No mention that he has started only 5 of those games.
Hehe…Yeah… That was a good save too…
The goal:
Rafael, 20
Nani, 23
Macheda, 19,
Hernandez 22
Total package, Sweatness!!
Costas
Lol…They wouldn’t want to mention that now yeah?
@redrider
Yeah. It makes you wonder why they would mention stats if they are going to be half honest about it. It’s not a good record for Berbs, but it’s not half as bad as it sounds. He hasn’t started a Ch.League in a year…
Chicharito14 -Cheers mate, but I thought Macheda was “Kiko”? Anyhow, yep meant Hernandez, Chicharito, Little Pea… whatever his name, the goal was superb!
Costas
i guess he’ll want to have a look at those stats too…
he’ll have it sorted out in no time…
@tomo .Federico chico canales macheda that is the full naje
Am 4 once happy Rafael replaced Oshea 4 he givs us option in attack than Oshea does. We lack urgency n pace lately n i hop da arrival of Ando n Carrick wil grant us dynamism at the center of da park.
Red Typhoon Chicharito 14
Thanks guys : )
Brilliant brilliant brilliant.our attacking play wasn’t good like in the past few games but anything for a clean sheet and one goal.give me 1-0 all the way and I’ll take it,rather than the 2-2s and 3-3s.Berba was great, would have been really happy had he scores from that brilliant run.I don’t think
our performance was poor.come on,we were playing Valencia, an unbeaten team who’s at the top of the la liga.can’t expect for a perfect performance,although the passing was below par.ooh yea Sir Alex-went for the jugular at the end.He’s done it again with the subs.Brilliant brilliant result.Hehe a smile is gonna be stuck on my face for a while now!let’s get our 2nd away win lads!Rio was great,Chica and Kiko-great pairing I must say.with Rooney,Giggs,Scholes and Hargo to be back-we’ll only get better!
Watching Chicarito I think that in front of goal he doesn’t even think. Pure instinct – he just scores. Made a great run to the back post and almost scored a few minutes earlier. His goal was a thing of sheer beauty like a work of art.
A great win. Bit of a mixed bag in mf with sloppy passing but top class positioning and closing down. Rio and vidic were immense and only evra disappointed a little. Park was diabolical on the ball but did his job very well without it. Nani had a great away performance, he tried to get forward at every opportunity but never shirked his defensive duties unlike ronaldo. He also made the difference when we needed it most setting up chicha to hit the post and then starting offthe winning move.
