Louis van Gaal was rightly criticised and then sacked for failing to produce what was required of a Manchester United manager. By the end of his time at the club, United fans had grown weary of him and were ready for him to leave.

It’s interesting to note that Jurgen Klopp, who is having a difficult time at Liverpool at the moment, matches Van Gaal’s record at United, having won 50.6% of their games.

The only difference is Van Gaal beat Klopp’s Liverpool at home and away in the league. Also, Van Gaal won the FA Cup with United, while Klopp has lost the cup finals he’s lead Liverpool too.
