It has been reported in US media that Romelu Lukaku was arrested in the early hours for misdemeanor disturbing the peace.
Having agreed to sign for Manchester United and snub Chelsea, Lukaku threw a party in the Beverley Hills home he is renting.
TMZ reports that the police went round six times to tell him to turn the noise down after complaints from neighbours. In the end, they arrested him.
Lukaku was not brought to the police station or formally booked but was merely given a citation.
