Having spent his entire career playing for Sir Alex Ferguson, and now getting experience from being Louis van Gaal’s number two, Ryan Giggs is setting himself up nicely for a future career in management.

Patrice Evra revealed this week that Ferguson told him just two players in his final squad were made to be managers, Evra and Giggs.

Van Gaal has claimed that Giggs is set to replace him when he retires.

I expect that he will be the next manager after I am gone. Now I have the responsibility. He has tasks that he has to perform like the players [do]. What he has to do, for me, he does it very well.
