    Zibster,

Hey buddy, what up, lets start the debate who is better – Rooney and RVP? the two of you and Cedars ;)

  5. Zibbie says:

Summer drink 1 in 5 like it, Gold tequila and grapefruit juice. Key is enough tequila to cut the tart taste of the grapefruit.

  6. Zibbie says:

    RVP better striker
    Rooney better all around player.
    Bread & butter
    Salt & Pepper
    should blend well together

  7. TonyBee says:

    stop press

Apparently now Alex Song is leaving Arsenal as well..

Fucking hell….this many people haven’t left a London club since Chelsea fans moved to Man City.

  12. 50 Shades of WillieRedNut says:

I wouldn’t be taking any drinking tips off Cedric. You’ll need Me sister Linda who whips old man Cedars every week at that game!

Mate i love your passion here to and i respect you, but it’s kinda saddening me how people are eating it all up. Yes he is a superstar, and deserves a superstar salary but i guess it’s just the way money has changed football. I’d believe all this much more if he wasn’t receiving 200k a week. Can you honestly tell me you don’t feel slightly dirty about this deal? I do. I feel we’ve hired a high paid hitman, who’s here to do a job. People lambast rooney here for ambitiongate and I agree with that. But at least he’d given us his all since he was 18, and while I wasn’t happy about it, I could still justify it to myself thinking he’d given us so much, he deserves it, etc etc. I can in no way justify this deal to myself, or anyone else for that matter, especially with the financial position we’re in.

I just hope this doesn’t have a snowball effect, with regards to wage demands here. If this means phasing out someone like Danny or Nani just because they decide to play hardball with regards to their own financial gains then they deserve to do that seeing as they’ve been with us longer (not saying they’d ask for 200k, but it’d be much higher than what they were expecting before i’d believe). And what about others. This could come back to bite us in the ass. I just hope i’m wrong.

Maybe this is just me overthinking things too much. Maybe i’m trying to look at too big a picture and should focus on what’s in front of us. Because he is a damnn fine player and will have us on the edge of our seats i’m sure. I just hope this isn’t us going over to the dark side with the likes of Madrid, and (i think i’m gonna be sick) Citeh.

Sorry for raining on everyone’s parade here.

You raise some valid points, and I do hope you know I was joking.

  19. Cantona got me here says:

Zibbie – I like a summer – Tequila(quality), Countreau (sp?) and Pineapple…splash of club soda. Stunningly refreshing and manly of of course!

  20. Sandeep1878 says:

    Atin,

Yeah that’s the sad part pal, shuts down by 11, but better on many grounds..

    ##

    Cedars,

No matter what, the real admirers of your’s will exceed the fake ones, just remember that ;)

Heard Lebanon complained of too much orgasm since last evening? :P

    evening my friend..

  21. Zibbie says:

    Tree sounds taste!

  22. utd_fc says:

    Cedars

It’s all good mate. I know you make them googley eyes at VanCedars.

And looking at the current season ahead of us, i think we might as well be a little positive. Lord knows we need it after how last season was, and how it ended.

  23. Sandeep1878 says:

    “Lets do this”

    Number 20 FTW

  24. CedarsDevil says:

For all of you stuck here, there is a new thread up

  25. Redbilly says:

Not a betting man but I will see what odds the bookies will give on united achieving their highest ever goal tally this season. Will be shocked if it’s not high

  26. a says:

    My team vs Everton:

    RVP
    Rooney Kagawa Nani
    Carrick Cleverley
    Evra Rio Vidic Valencia
    DDG

  27. gexmex says:

The Mexican press (and TV) are already “recommending” Hernandez to move on, despite his agent saying he wants to stay and play for the club. I suppose they will keep a weekly tally of minutes played. The real problem will arise if the national team manager (who happens to be the manager that gave him his first chance) tells him that he should be playing or else. With Vela returning to Mexico’s team, Hernandez could find himself under lots of pressure.

  28. JC says:

Yeah I got a kick out of ESPN Soccernet trying to claim Hernandez’s silence indicates that he is uncomfortable and wants to move on. Not only did they completely make up the conclusion but they lied about his slience.

  29. The Scottish Wonder says:

Next season I hope Fabio will get the 22 if Scholes retires, then the brothers will wear # 2 & 22 :)

  30. nemanjavidiclew says:

Am I the only one who thinks we need a new right back. I just don’t think Rafeal is good enough.

  31. Yusuf kurah says:

I love the reason explained by Robin Van Persie why he choosed number 20, so good luck.

  32. Zulu-Utd-Malta says:

    @nemanjavidiclew.
No you’r not alone mate !
In my humble opinion we need KYLE WALKER from Spurs !! Am I right ?

  33. nemanjavidiclew says:

@Zulu-Utd-Malta I was thinking walker as well.

  34. Zulu-Utd-Malta says:

    @nemanjavidiclew.
Of course you think about Kyle Walker. In my humble opinion he is one of the best no2 in Europe at present. His body frame, hs movment on the ball, his pace, his timed tackles and he normally deosn’t get caught when he is on the attack ! for me he is exelent !!!
Fergie Fergie sign him up PLEEEEEEZE…………………….

  35. Catotraa says:

Think barca bought song for central-back duties tbh. They want fast, possessioncompetent defenders as they line up quite high in the pitch

  36. JC says:

nemanjavidiclew – yes you are, Rafael has our RB slot nailed down for years. He is still young don’t forget so you may see an error now and then but he has the talent and drive to be the best RB in the league for a long while.

  37. nemanjavidiclew says:

@JC I hope you turn out to be right.

  38. Louis says:

    how many are under 21?
