Mata: United one of the biggest clubs in the world

Juan Mata has insisted that, whilst this season might be a write off, United will be back competing for the title next season.

“I think Man Utd is always going to be fighting for every title,” Mata said. “This season in the Premier League we were not winning that well earlier in the season, but I think next year and the years coming this team is going to fight for every title. It is what it has to do and what it has always being doing. When you are outside of the club you see Man United as one of the biggest clubs in the world. And being inside you have time to realise it is true.”

Mata has only been at the club for a few weeks but adjusted to the move straight away.

“It’s been very good,” he added. “From the first day I’ve felt really happy. Playing for this club is a big challenge for any player and for me as well. I feel I am at the perfect age to improve as a player and a person, so I think it will be a really good move for me.”

Mata saying all the right things.
Shame Moyes is playing him out of position.

  2. Sam says:

Mata needs to be playing behind the striker. Rooney and RVP should both play up top with mata right behind and kagawa and nani playing narrow to the right or left. We could pull off a 4-1-3-2 with Felliani as a CDM. This would sacrifice carrick but I think a narrow midfield of those three would have enough creativity to feed balls to both RVP and Rooney without having to get the ball wide all the time. We need to be able to penetrate through the middle with tidy creative passes.

Saying all the right things which is good, We will certaintly be better next season if we spent over £200million that has been reported, money talks!

  4. Rukky E. Atebefia says:

Sorry tommy it doesn’t exactly work like that, we already spent 70 plus and look shit £200m would barely solve half our problems.

Hahahah back to reality mate, pls comeback to reality.
Btw if moyes needs £270m in the space of 16months to get the original champions of england back into the top4 positions, then we might have just been better off giving his job to bugs bunny or daffy duck. . .cos even an autistic baby will get you competing with that kind of resources.
Atleast we would get better PR and press quotes from bugz and daffy right? :D
