Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon, earned himself a spot on our most hated list this summer, following his despicable behaviour in trying to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Earlier in the week Calderon spoke about Ferguson, calling him ’senile’. Approaching 60-years-old, Calderon is no spring chicken himself!
Our manager has responded to Calderon’s insults today, dismissing them as bitter remarks of a man gutted to lose out on their transfer target.
“Calderon has got a few things to say every week,” said Ferguson. “A lot of hot air comes out of that man, but I’m not getting involved. The nub of it is he is very disappointed he did not get Ronaldo. I’m delighted to say he’s still here and I will keep repeating that.”
Have that, Ramon!

The is a storm coming…
It is obvious Calderon still wants to lure Ronado. 2 weeks ago he stated that he had given up his pursuit of Christiano. If he had truly stopped chasing Ronaldo he would have stayed quiet and said nothing. In fact, staying quiet might have been the best thing he could have done to lure Ronaldo. Fergie saw the mistake Calderon was making by opening his big mouth (about 2 weeks ago) and added fuel to the fire by making statements about heinze. Like the Chess Master that Sir Alex Ferguson is, he further alienated calderon from Ronaldo. Not bad for a senile old man huh calderon ?
Just to clarify something, Calderon’s words were initially translated as “he is old” but the tabloids got hold of it and discovered it could also be translated into “he is senile”. And you can guess which one they went with.
Senile…Fergie….Nah not just yet…Old yeah. Still the best..absolutely.
I hope Calderon doesn’t reply…I know Fergie will own ANYBODY when it comes to jabs and mind-games, but I’d really hate to see 2 grown men taking jabs at each other through the press each week… kinda embarassing, imo
Oh no, id love it…I love action…lol. I hope Fergie owns his ass.
hoho. two old men talking like that. it’s funny ..
says a lot for the rest of europe if the champions are managed by a senile old man.
