Ben Foster has been soaking up the praise since the weekend, with the perfect conclusion to the biggest game of his career. Not only did he pick up the Man of the Match award for his display at Wembley, but he is also managed to save a penalty.

Oliver Holt, who has become increasingly and surprisingly fond of Manchester United, has noted something else about Foster’s display at the weekend.

Manchester United keeper Ben Foster got a lot of attention on Sunday for saving a Spurs penalty and using an iPod.

But he also deserves a mention for something else. Instead of rushing into the arms of his team-mates when Anderson scored the winning spot-kick, Foster first gave opposite number Heurelho Gomes a consoling handshake.

Class as well as talent.

Holt is starting to freak me out!
