You mustn’t forget the media in this. Radio, TV and newspapers now all dripping with ex-Liverpool players, and/or devotees. Add in (nearly said “on” there) the ever-present Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs element and there is the agenda.
An agenda to set Hughes up as the new potential nemesis of Ferguson. Because they NEED the great man to fail. After over a decade of trying to undermine him by the promotion of whoever’s their latest blue-eyed boy (pun intended), it is now OCD-ish.
That’s why Hughes is being displayed as this cool articulate dude, and the ludicrous nature of some of his utterances is being ignored. If referred to at all it is presented as him “giving as good as he gets”.
He’ll lose.

When Shitty started signing all these players in the summer a few of my mates who are shitty fans started giving it the big I am and at the time I said one thing will fuck you up (as is always the case with them) and that one thing would be Hughes!! firstly coz he has done fuck all as a manager and doesnt know about dealing with big names or in shitty’s case so called big names and secondly coz he is a twat. He was a good player for us back in the day but he was still a twat even then. Now he has completly fucking lost the plot and can fuck off back to stockport with the rest of the shite!! He is and always will be a fucking cunt to me!!

Mark Hughes has unfortunately gone beyond even Roy Keane levels of fell out with Fergie bitterness. Don’t get me wrong as players I loved both of them especially Keano but they’ve said some incredible things since they became managers which shows they’re both still sore at being told by Fergie their time had come.

When Keano backed Ronaldo’s slave claims and said Clough was a better boss than Fergie I actually felt he was the ex player that had gone the farthest towards foolishness. But Hughes has in recent days surpassed even that in terms of stupidity.

City were awful and mistakes by Ben Foster and Rio Ferdinand flattered them. In the second half they were nowhere. They had one corner ALL game and that was 5 minutes from time. To say they gave a good account of themselves is ridiculous. Spurs played better against United and created more chances against us from open play than City did.
