you have a blind pet chimpanze!?! ;)

Even though i wouldn't mind Mourinho as United manager, I think Solskjaer is secretly working his way to be number 1 one day, I would love The Baby Faced Assassin to be our manager! and thats thinking with my heart and head, he reads the game amazingly well which explains why he was a super sub he said he used to read the game and then he would come on and know how to score against them.

You are my Solskjaer....

SAF makes great players that build a united front against other teams (players like Park). Maureen buys good players that might or might not fit together-but at the end of the day they are still good players. For this reason, Maureen should stay away. Can anyone really say that Maureen would be successful at a club like Wigan, Sunderland, or especially Everton ? Given hundreds of millions/billions my blind pet chimpanze could have managed chelski. Maureen is over rated because he had billions to spend and he does have a larger than life ego.

Marq---"Well, Scott, during Mourinho’s time, he did bring in Carvalho, Cech, Robben, Drogba & Essien, players who could walk into our team"

I hope that was meant as a joke, Marq.

I don't deny that Carvalho is an excellent defender, but are you telling me he would "walk" into our side over Vida and Rio?? (my opinion, not a fucking chance)

Again, I know Cech is a top class keeper, but could he "walk" into the side over Van Der Sar at this present moment? Walking into the side means to me that he is clearly a superior player, obvious to all who follow football. And I know Cech is about a decade younger if not more so yes he would be a better long term choice, but right now in March 09 I think you could have a good debate on who's the better keeper. So "walk" into our side, NO, he could not.

Robben....sigh. Really? Yeah he would be a better offensive option on the left wing than Park, but would he track back? (no) Would he run his fucking ass into the ground to help the team? (fuck no) And the spanish league is softer and better suited to his game so he looks better now for Real, but in the Prem he would get kicked once and then spend the rest of the match hiding.

Drogba.... He is an athletic freak who knows how to put the ball in the back of the net. But he is an absolute disgrace and only plays hard when he fancies it. So, would he "walk" into our side over Berba or Wayne? No, not if I had anything to say about it.

and finally, Essien. Well, you got one right at least. He could walk into our side. 1 out of 5 ain't that great though pal

I like Steve Bruce and think he could do a good job, but agree some day Giggs as United manager makes sense. I could see him on the touch line and who better to inspire the players and work with Ole to bring up youth than Giggs. Bruce for awhile with Giggs as assistant in some capacity and then he comes in, thats my dream. Bruce is a good manager, he knows the stakes of United and is part of its history, he has brought out great play from less than perfect squads on a regular basis, and installed a work ethic. I think he has all the quality butI wouldn't rule out Mourinho totally. He would be a big name splash for the owners first managerial appointment, and sometimes Americans like to grab media rather than the best choice. Bruce could be our guy but he has his faults. I have no idea what will happen but I just hope Fergie finds the fountain of youth so he can continue at this for the rest of my life! We are lucky to have a manager of his ability and personality. In Fergie We Trust!

Well, Scott, during Mourinho's time, he did bring in Carvalho, Cech, Robben, Drogba & Essien, players who could walk into our team. And it was also during his time Duff, Terry & Lampard were playing their best football. Mourinho was working in a different environment from Sir Alex, he could never have survived a season without winning something, so I give him the benefit of a doubt with regards to his capabilities of building teams with youth.
As for us, yes, Vidic & Ronaldo were steals, but most of the players we went for were also wanted by all big clubs in Europe, and we paid big bucks for them as well.

As much as we can root for who we hope to see, Sir Alex will have the final say who to take over him, and we can only trust him to make the best decision. Let's savour our time with the knight while we still can, because we all know there isn't anyone else who can adequately replace him

Lots of good and bad with tnsso.
Hard call but reckon SAf wants him and thats that.
I would love Giggs but in this day and age the business acumen and the broader skill base required to manage aclub has changed since Paisley was running things so I dont know if its realistic.
Would be great but.
