Zlatan Ibrahimovic assisted Manchester United’s first goal in our 2-1 win over Crystal Palace before scoring the winner a few minutes from time.

Ibrahimovic has now scored eight goals in his last eight games and Jose Mourinho, who signed the striker on a free transfer, has hailed his talisman.

He did a phenomenal performance. After the goal to have the strength and spirit to go in front of the back four and defend. It was an amazing performance for a guy who is 35-years-old, scoring goals, being a leader, amazing.

Eric Bailly was replaced early in the second half after looking as though he would have been substituted several times before he went off. Mourinho doesn’t know how long Bailly will be out for but revealed it wasn’t the same knee that kept the defender out for six weeks that was a problem.

We are not sure about Bailly. It is not the same knee. He has a problem, but we do not know the dimensions. He showed amazing character before having to leave the field.
