Moyes: I’d definitely back knighthood of Law

The Manchester Evening News has launched a campaign calling for Denis Law to be knighted and David Moyes has been asked whether he would support that.

“100% I would back that, definitely” Moyes said with a smile. “I said when I first came in that I was thrilled to meet Sir Bobby Charlton. Then I got the Community Shield off Denis Law and that was brilliant. I really enjoyed that. It was a big moment. I’ve come across Denis quite recently and he’s a really good guy, a really genuine guy. He’s been great. And of course, a Scottish legend as well.”
