I've always wondered why people love to hate Saha so much, like dude said football is these cats' life who would want to lose out on playing for United for everton? c'mon I don't see half the hate for Hargreaves and he was hurt when we bought him, I'm not saying we should hate owen, I just don'n see why people think he was trying to be injured aal the time.

ps I think Jehovah's Witnesses only don't take blood transfusions, so unless that's a common rehab technique I don't think that would be the reason for the injury bug.

Top class player when we could get him fit and out on the field. I think most of his problems could be in his head, if he feels a twinge or not 100% i think he bottles it. I even heard arumour that he wouldn`t take injections for a knee injury. Remember Les Sealey when our physio told him he had to come off because of a knee injury, now that was commitment.

I fear that we made another "Saha transfer" when we bought Owen Hargreaves. I sure hope the surgeries Hargo has been through will work since I'm a big fan of him.

None of you are looking at it from his perspective. Sure I was just as frustrated as everyone else when he would find every opportunity he could to get himself injured, warm-ups included. BUT you think he enjoyed that? It cost him a place at MANCHESTER UNITED. It cost him ever winning trophies like the CL or the League title. You think he enjoys that? You think it sucks for us to see him getting injured given his potential? Think about what HE goes through. While it's alright to joke about how fragile he is I think it is extremely wrong to say anyone feels even the slightest joy in him not being able to play again. To these players football is life, they long for a ball at their feet. We as fans cannot fathom what feeling injured feels like.

To see him staying fit at Everton was a joy for me. It was not like we sold him with the condition that he had better get himself injured every few months so we can feel good, it was with the knowledge that he might just stay fit for a while but it was a risk we were willing to take. If anything I felt maybe we should have kept him at United after all, but never did I wish him to get injured, because that is just wrong. At United he did all he could to play, and when he did he gave us his all. How can you blame him for something he has no control over.

I have nothing but the greatest respect and sympathy for Saha, and wish him a speedy recovery.

Yeah, I wasn't overjoyed to see him playing well for Everton but it was consolation that I could turn to some of the half-wits in this world who called him shit and show them how good he was. I think he's absolute quality and never thought he would be when we signed him from Fulham. It looks like his career is destined for the scrapheap though which is a bit unfortunate because he would have/should have been a great premiership striker and a France regular.

As has been said, a quality player when you can keep him fit. Sadly, we couldn't and only benefitted from him in spits and spurts.

Thankfully he was fit enough to prove that a traditional United 4-4-2 wasn't beyond us in the 2000's. For that 3 or 4 months at the back-end of the 05/06 season, when he was quite literally a revelation to United, I thank him.

True, the thought that Everton were getting something we weren't irked me, but it's something you accept as being part of Sod's Law and I'd never in a month of Sundays wish for him to get injured.

Get well soon, Louis!

Mic is right. The season after Ruud left he was on his way to bagging 30 goals.Had he not been so injury prone i think he was going to be tne next Andy Cole for this club.
