I really pity Nani, he gets hardly enough games to start,and even if he does starts, Alex takes him out in the 2nd half imaterial whether he performs well or not. He is young and with the World Cup around the corner, he is for sure wants to start more games to get into the Portugal squad, I simply feel that Alex shows more favourtism in selecting players he likes. Can anyone tell me what in the world does JS Park does for united other then running like a mad dog. He doesn’t score, he does’t create chances but he still gets selected for more games then Nani……If Nani does leave united, I bet Alex is going to be the loser, look at Gerad Pique, Forlan, Tevez who are all doing well after leaving united……Nani has my support…..

Nani has not been as good as we expected (when we bought him), heck he has been irritating at the most… But then I cant help shrug of the feeling that he was meant to be a forward… However him bad mouthing SAF was the final straw…

we’ve all been wonderin why nani’s been shit despite havin a load of talent and this situation answers it. The guys a pussy, there’s a bit where he says giggs and scholes get it the most, thats because they take it and come back stronger, hence they still perform to this day. On this evidence, nani will have a sulk and a bitch. Fuck him off, he’s been the weak point in the team all season after havin a good run in the team. Got to agree with Altonian. He has not turned in ONE GOOD performance in my opinion this season. Yet people STILL want him to get a chance. Can these people honestly say hand on heart that they think he will become a United player? Everytime he gets the ball I actually EXPECT him to give it away now. Sorry but he is not gonna make it at United. I hope I am wrong but you normally get a feeling after only a handful of games or even appearances whether they are gonna make it or not. Sadly for Nani it’s the latter.

IF he said what apparantly he said and I’m IF cus we all know how the media can twist things then he’s just not getting it. He has to improve his game, Sir Alex isn’t going to drop a player if it’s at the detriment of the team – make sure you CAN’T be dropped from the team!

Read before commenting in future, I merely stated that with such a high price tag high expectations come with it. It’s not favouritism though is it, Nani has had his chance and hasn’t taken it. I’m not sure what you’ve been watching but I’ve not seen what I’d consider a ‘good performance’ by him once this season. When Obertan has come on, albeit only small cameo’s at the end of a game, he’s showed promise and had impact on the game. Nani’s played 85 games, if he can’t show enough promise or put in more than a handful of good games in he can’t be expect to become a regular. The problem lies with people and the player himself thinking he’s better than he is.

It’s a difficult situation because we cannot afford to have an off form player on the pitch especially on the wing with how the seasons going but without starting time and consecutive matches you can’t expect the lad to get back on form. With obertan playing well he might be out which would be unfortunate as the lad has quality, perhaps after the new year well be better off in the table and nani can have his chance to prove himself.

When someone says “he cost £17m so we expect better from him”, I immediately stop reading. It’s one of the most stupid things ever and why people, especially English league fans keep saying it is beyond me. Do the players actually negotiate the amounts at which they are sold? Anyway, it is a material fact that Nani has not been played regularly enough to even try his hand at consistency. He played well in Russia and got dropped. Obertan has an impressive 10 or so minutes at home vs useless Blackburn and appears in consecutive matches. I’m not suggesting that the French player is not good enough. But if you’re Nani and you see such favoritism taking place you are gonna feel hard done by. It’s natural. Valencia wasn’t all that in his 1st games but he kept starting and Nani has been relegated to the bench if fortunate. It’s not a mystery that Ferguson has been greatly unfair to him especially having promised him more game time since Ronaldo’s departure. We can’t honestly expect him to play confidently if his confidence is being shot at. “Fergie is fair”. That’s ridiculous. If he was then Nani would have been treated fairly as well. But then going to the media was the dumbest thing he did. This may be the final nail on the coffin. Especially given the fact that the manager has had to deal with crap from the FA in the same week and then he reads about Nani calling him a “a very complicated” and trash talking man.
