2) Insightful discussions and debates where not all of us agree but all of us voice our opinions reasonably well – These are many in number with contributions from loads of people who don’t need mention (You know who you are).
3) Guilty Pleasure – Talks with Dave Malaysia, Cedars, Zibbie, Fred, Willi and all the others about Nigella’s boobies. It brings us closer together as a group.
4) Another Guilty Pleasure – Watching cunting cunts like capataink9, RedMegleeker, bill knob etc. post and get bashed down to shit.
We could do with less of 4 for sure but it would deprive people like me and Cedars of one of our most guiltiest of pleasures.
To be fair to Scott, he did work with Cedars and resolve the duplicate name issue and banned the impostor’s IP. There as a direct racial attack on me where he stepped in and deleted the comment. So, he does step in whenever the issue becomes too bad. And, as I said, providing topics to discuss is the most difficult thing about running a blog. Costas … surely, the answer to that problem would be registered usernames, not necessarily moderation. I am opposed to moderation. There is some horrible stuff on here occasionally, but mostly it gets sorted out amongst ourselves. I would rather have a community that can look after itself, instead of one that has to be policed. And the policing wouldn’t be easy or cheap. I wouldn’t envy anyone who had to do that job — it’s great to be able to come on here and read stuff and post it too, but I can’t imagine HAVING to read everything on here every day lol.
About registration: a couple of weeks ago, when I came to visit my mum Down Under, I tried to post under a slightly different name: StatesideAussie_DownUnder. Instead of posting, I got a message, “Your post is awaiting moderation.” Although I changed the username, I kept my regular email address, so maybe that was what triggered it: same email, different username. Anyway, when I changed the username back to my regular, it posted right away. I think STR may have put some checks into place, but without proper registration, they are necessarily basic.

The regulars here have to be appreciated as their love for united is unquestionable but guys you have to accept that you have created a group.I know this is off season and there is nothing to speak but even last summer this blog was awesome and worth visiting.I still love this blog but I don’t post that much as there is hardly anyone who talks about football.

Hello mate. STR has done a brilliant job in th epast and has bought a lot of us Reds together – and for that I will always be grateful. However, this thread just proves what I’ve been saying over the past few weeks. Better moderation is needed if we want to claim to be the best United blog. It’s not the quantity of posters it’s the quality. Anyone and everyone is welcome to an opinion, but I don’t agree we should allow people on here who have no purpose other than to cause trouble, especially as people liki Wayne and Goat had trouble getting their posts through. I don’t take offence easily, but today, even by my own sometimes warped sense of humour – went a little stupid in my opinion and something should have been done. It’s not like no one could see this coming – it’s been brewing since the Barca game.
In referral to your request to Cedars, to get him to point out that STR had helped him with his posting issues, I am not oblivious to the fact that STR got it sorted. I made three or four requests for an answer as to what was going to be done about Cedar’s problem – it was only when the problem i got a response and to be honest a very sarcastic one at that. So if STR feels he can show that attitude towards his posters, who have been on here for years, then there’s nothing wrong with me, Kings or anyone asking him questions in return.

Scott the Red’s main failing is that he simply ignores problems, and comments made to him.
Then, when eventually he deigns to attend an issue that has been frustrating and angering people for a long time, it is done without explanation or apology. In fact, most times he hasn’t resolved the issue, it has resolved itself. In this common instance he receives undue praise, yet fails to indicate that the issue has not been solved, but still exists.
There is absolutely no doubt that Scott the Red sits in his Ivory Tower and scorns us all.
What other conclusion can be drawn?
Is he too busy to respond to emails, comments, racism, hatred for United, and poisonous comments that are designed to destroy harmony here? No, he is not too busy. That is made abundantly clear on every thread where he asks us to vote for him, and floods us with advertising.
His precious RoM will not survive unless he:
- Stops fostering Racism
- Prevents vile slander against Sir Alex, the players, and United in general.
- Realises that he is equal to each and every one of us.
- Treats us with a modicum of respect, honesty and transparency.
No one wants to increase his workload. All we want is a little respect.
RoM is probably the most anti-United blog on the internet. Without exception.
It is simply the best place to show hatred for our great club.
The Sun, and News of the World, and RoM. They are the best place to go if you hate United.
They deliberately foster hatred, in order to increase revenue.

Yeah extremely pleased with the De Gea signing mate. He ticks all the right boxes. Although he was largely redundant in the tournament, he still played his part when called upon His kicking and distribution is top notch. Potentially 20 years of service from the lad.
