Neville Goes Green

Gary Neville's eco home

Gary Neville is planning on turning his home in to an environmentally friendly zone. He apparently wants to build this £6 million flower-shaped home on greenbelt land overlooking Bolton, and has also applied to the council for permission to put up a 54m wind turbine, which is almost the size of Bolton Town Hall.

Local residents are pissed off with Neville and as many as 300 of them turned up to a meeting this week to complain.

Neville is likely to be offended though, considering he has put considerable time in to planning his idea, which, if approved, would take around two years to build. The 8,000 sq ft property, which would stand near Neville’s current 12 bedroom home, will also have solar panels and a ground source heat pump.

One word: bizarre.

    sounds crazy…

Why would you complain? It’s gonna be great. Anyone who thinks wind turbines are ugly are just being petty. I think its great hearing stories like this. David James was being interviewed before the FA cup game, and his car runs on rapeseed oil.

You should applaud his efforts to use alternative energy sources and set an example.

I think its rediculous. He should live in a house which is identical to everyone elses. I for one am pissed of with all the different types of buildings that exsist. I mean they just clash with each other, It would be much better if every building was the same. I can imagine it now, a typical day, husband come home from work.
wife – “Darling did you have a nice day at work”
husband – “I think so, or could I have gone to the post office or the swimming baths, they all look the same”.
wife – “ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha”
husband – “ha ha ha ha ha ha ha”
kid – “what are you two laughing at”
wife and mother “ha ha ha ha, you’re dad doesn’t know if he went to work today”
kid – “Uh? whats that dad”
dad – “No I went to work, I just remarked to your mother that the buildings all look the same and I could’ve been at the post office or swimming baths”
kid – “oh, that happened to Jeremy”
mum – “NO! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha”
dad – “ha ha ha ha ha ha ha”
kid – “ha ha ha ha ha ha ha”
dad – “lets put on the radio”
    kid – “yes lets”
    radio -”deutschland deutschland uber alles…….”

Why should Gary Neville have a house thats different – EASY – he is fucking different, he didn’t go to an ordinary job and mow the lawn on Sundays – he played for UNITED so BOLTON – FUCK OFF.

I think its, great. It is said that everybody has an artist within them, Nev’s is probably an architect. If thats his way of expressing his artistic side, I say “go ahead”. And if it helps the environment, better yet. Thanks Nev, always an example.
If I had the money, I would probably do something similar.

    Cheers!

Haha…Going Green is in no way an act to save the Earth, it is purely on trend and the new lifestyle for the rich.

What is there were heavy rain? Looking at the picture, his house would be covered in water. Lol.. perhaps some draining system???

Gutted, I thought Gary was pictured wearing the green and gold when I read the headline!
