Stretford End Flags have announced today that the new banner to be added to the collection we already have on the Stretford End will be “Manchester Is My Heaven”.
This was RoM’s favourite of the good designs put up for the vote, with us already incorporating Sir Matt Busby’s words on our header at the forum.
Once put in place, the order of banners on the Stretford End will look like: City Ticker, One Love – Stretford End, The Flowers of Manchester, MANCHESTER IS MY HEAVEN and Lest Us Forget.

Lest “we” forget isn’t it Scott? Are there two banners coming down then? Those 2 being “For Every Manc a Religion” and “European Capital of Trophies”. I like this banner but must admit I preferred the other one.

Keep the banners about the history, players and managers of the club. Fuck puttin up quotes about liverpool. Don’t give them the satisfaction. The new one above is class.

If there was one for Sir Alex then , althou I joked earlier about a quote, I really don’t think it should be anything to do with liverpool. He set out from the start who was the bench mark and has since knocked them off there fuckin perch. But has done so so so much more. Smithy did score one of my favourite ever United team goals though! Against Roma. One touch passing all the way to the finish, which wasnt too bad either, Roma may as well have been cones.
Justice for Heysel – Disagree mate, I liked Smithy. To say he was a Leeds lad he loved playing for United.
