Liad - with the return of Neville imminent, Danny Simpson would be at least third in the pecking order for right back, behind Neville and Brown. With 8 league games remaining, I can't see Simpson getting much of a chance with us this season.

Also, whilst I do like Simpson, every game we play in is crucial. We don't have much breathing space in the league and we're approaching the quarter finals of Europe. Now is not the time to be bringing in young talent, I don't think.

Ipswich are currently in a tight battle for a promotion place, and I think he could get some valuable experience from playing there.

Scott I would like to know your opinion on an issue:
I believe that Danny Simpson is a terrific prospect for the future as do most people, however I also believe that he is ready for 1st team duty at this point already. I think SAF shouldve played him at right back in the match against Bolton instead of experimenting with Hargo. SImpson is a specialist right-back who gets up and down the line like a machine provides good crosses and has even scored for the first team in his brief but inspired career.
John O'shea is regarded as one of the nicest guys in football and I think he is an asset to Manchester United but I do not believe he has the class to play at left or right back for United but rather just in the Midfield position.
So while I understand why SImpson is being loaned out for the rest of the season with Neville/Silvestre so close to returning for us, I think in the long run Simpson should be our specialist right-back and John O'shea not move behind the midfield line position!

i hope so but i'm afraid with the news surrounding Lahm transfer not many chances. Exept the relatively soft game against Wigan he didn't express that much.
but i just hope he will make it, because he is ours.

I do hope he gets more time next season as he really does a solid job out there. I'd be happy to see him with more first team time next season
