    Good morning.

Sky’s scheduling is getting more ridiculous with each season.

  3. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

  4. Anon says:

Arsenal, Tottenham, City, Sunderland, Liverpool, Blackburn, Chelsea and
Everton! SHITEE! Thats gotta be one of the toughest starts to the season! The first two games are going to be interesting.
If we can fuck the first ten games of the season up, rest assured we’d be left with a mountain to climb!

  5. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

Liverpool v United Sun 25 October KO 2.00pm Live on Sky
    comeone micheal owen
do a john oshea . A quote from the match-winner having done what every United fan dreams of doing, scoring the winner in front of the Kop in the 90th minute: “The 90th minute at Anfield in front of the Kop. Gary Neville just told me that was his dream, and I’ve just gone and done it”

  6. Alpha_RS says:

That is the price of success….

  7. Costas says:

It can’t be worse than last season Anon. But it’s still tough. And we will need some time to get going this season. There is no denying that.

  8. Anon says:

GHTT that would be stunning mate.
Read a piece today about the Aguero deal. Says we are willing to do a cash plus player deal including 20 mil euros + either Nani (which they are likely to refuse) or, and wait for this, BERBA! Don’t want to lose either of those players. Though i know your opinion of Nani GHTT ;)

  9. Arni says:

    Stoke on the 26th Oct @ 3pm

  10. Anon says:

Costa: umm really? i don’t thnk we played Arsenal Chelsea Liverpool Everton AND Tottenham within the first 10 match days last season. This defo seems tougher to me. Ok this is really getting me jittery!

  11. Costas says:

I read it as well Anon. If that had been for Ribery, i might have been ok with it. But to sacrifice Nani or Berba for and Argie? Hell no!

  12. Anon says:

not to mention Citeh. who if they get their hands on Eto’o and/or Tevez could be a handful.

  13. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

love berba and cant wait to see him playing in these games(sly way to stay on topic)
and id love to see nani playing to his full gifts next season
but if its not gonna happen then..

  14. Anon says:

Costas: even if it were Ribery, it wouldn’t have made sense. Probably Giving away berba would have made sense since they are the same age and Ribery would give us something different. But losing Nani at this point will put us in a lose-lose situation.

  15. ancha says:

it looks like mixd bag…not soo tough…

  16. Costas says:

Anon, Arni has posted the full schedule. Scott posted the ones with specific dates on them. We are still looking for a date to play Wigan, Bolton and Stoke.

  17. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

no way ill united spend 34 million on a player the class of berba just to get rid of him in part of a deal
that same paper wrote last week that it seems united replaced ronaldo with berbatov last season

  18. Anon says:

this is how it would happen in the ideal world:
If we go in for Aguero, we offer Nani plus cash.
If we go in for Ribery, we offer Berba plus cash.

Athletico don’t want nani, Ribery wants Real. so lets just tell them to fuck off, and keep the money, keep the players. just probably get Eto’o, and then we are set.

  19. Costas says:

To be honest, i think the team can’t affrod any more changing. That’s why it’s not wise to let Berba or Nani go. Especially when they have the prospect of delivering a better season now.

  20. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

    fraziers gone to sunderland

  21. Anon says:

Costa: oh k. i hope we get those games in between somewhere. don’t want the current list in that order. would be mayhem.

GHTT: “that same paper wrote last week that it seems united replaced ronaldo with berbatov last season”.
ok didn’t know about that! i can see what they would have been thinking. oh wait….

talking of Berba replacing Ronnie, why not hand the number seven to him, the number 9 to Owen, and everybody goes home happy.
I know a lot of people liken Berba to the King anyway!

  22. Anon says:

    Costas
“Especially when they have the prospect of delivering a better season now.”

you hit the nail on the head there mate!

  23. neejil says:

The fixtures look alot less difficult than last seasons opening, at least we get to play one of the top 4 at home this time round, and come the 20th September we can show the bitters up for the pretenders they are, and shut Tevez up.

As for Berba being a makewieght in a deal for Aguerro i feel that would be a terrible bit of buisness, Aguerro would just be another moody Argie prick, wheras Berba is a touch of class and will show his doubters this season.

In another aside, SkySports say Sunderland have agreed a fee for Frazier Campbell, I thought the Hull deal was all but done and dusted, but good luck to the lad.

  24. gazmask says:

aguero apparantly has a 50 or 60 mil euro buy-out clause in his contract which is way over priced so i say leave well alone and stick with players we have

  25. Anon says:

GHTT: oh well, was waiting for that happen. hopefully he’l do well there. Do they still have Cisse? if they do, then i doubt he will get too much playing time there too. If he ain’t then i am excited for him. i really like Kenwyne Jones, and with Richardson supplying them both, it could work out nicely.

  26. Anon says:

got Campbell, bid 11 mil for crouch, looking at Darren Bent, wow! Brucey running a mini revolution at the stadium of Light?! :P

  27. Costas says:

Cisse actually just got signed by Panathinaikos over here. How have the mighty(?) fallen!

  28. Costas says:

Actually it’s good that we have Sunderland early. Before Brucey starts gelling them together.

  29. Anon says:

    yeah. same goes for Citeh.
    wens the first pre season?

  30. Anon says:

“Giggs holds the record for biggest crap ever taken at 412lbs”

wtf? this from his wiki page!!! wtfs going on????

  31. Costas says:

Lol, someone is taking the piss at wiki!

Our first friendly is on the 18th of July.

  32. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

after readin that about giggs i say
    lizzy knight him now
    lizzy lizzy knight him now

  33. Anon says:

Costas: or maybe a lifelong Giggs fan letting the world in on a little known secret! :P thanks for that info mate.
    GHTT: rofl!

  34. porter says:

Anon ahaha, thats how reliable wiki is , you can edit whatever you want

  35. Gudjohnsen says:

The scousers are going for Ribery???

  36. Costas says:

They must be talking about the night he scored THAT goal!

  37. Costas says:

Gudjohnsen, i heard about it mate. They will have to sell Torres to do that.

  38. Anon says:

in the current financial situation everton have a btr chance at that

  39. Gudjohnsen says:

Perhaps they are going to sell Alonso or Mascherano…or both!

  40. Costas says:

If they do that, then it’s not necessarily a winning situation for them. But for 46 million euros? Bayern have asked a lot more than that. Seems to me that the media are very frustrated by the lack of transfer activity by the big 4. No big names this summer it seems.

  41. RedTone says:

I hope we sign up a big name soon, maybe Ribery??

    And bloody well keep Berba.

If the Scousers get Ribery, then they will laugh at us..

  42. Anon says:

    get a load of this!
    http://www.sport.co.uk/news/Football/23072/Cascarino_Owen_relies_on_pace_to_compensate_for_mediocre_technique_.aspx

“Former Chelsea and Aston Villa striker Tony Cascarino believes Manchester United’s new signing, the Liverpool legend and ex-Newcastle United forward Michael Owen, is mediocre.”

  43. Doherty says:

    Berba > Aguero

  44. Gudjohnsen says:

At least Owen won’t find it hard to motivate himself before matches. He probably wants to show all those skeptics what he’s made of…

Now the Campbell deal to Hull is agreed, another 5 mills we cash in. That will cover the Obertan purchase.

I don’t want to get rid of Berba, what’s that nonsense? I think that is a bad trade to get rid of Berba and bring in another Argie. I think we’re all set upfront. The positions I reckon we should focus on now is the midfield and perhaps another proven winger (I wouldn’t say no to Ribery….)

  45. Doherty says:

    @Gudjohnsen
Did campbell not go to sunderland?

  46. MUFC the Religion says:

Does anyone know what ESPN are like. Surely they can’t be more ABU than Scouse-tanta.

  47. Anon says:

i donnoe about ESPN , but ESPNStar in Asia is quite decent. They have scouse legeng Steve MCMamanaman, who dare i say it, is pro United most of the times. they have their fair share of ABUs though. donnoe how ESPN would line up in Britain

  48. Gudjohnsen says:

@ Doherty – Actually, I was a little bit hasty there, he’s apparently still deciding which club he wants to join, Hull or Sunderland. Either way this sale will probably go through in the next few days.

  49. theboogeyman says:

If it’s anything like the Asian ESPN,then you won’t like it.Steve McMahon is only one level below Paddy Crerand in terms of biasedness(??).

  50. Chris20LEGEND says:

bit like the end of the season, first matches of the season should all kick off at 3pm saturday, sky have enough channels to sort out showing 4 games at once…

  51. wakey says:

    @Gudjohnsen

If Liverpool are even seriously considering a bid for Ribery then they must have already agreed for Mascherano and Alonso to leave. Its the only way they will be able to get their hands on the 60mill plus that it would take.

  52. Trevor says:

    @ Anon

If you read alot of Tony Cascarino articals it highlights he knows fuck all about Football and is Anti Man United.

He should just wake up every morning and check his Medal collection and just realise he is a usless peice of shit! He was shit at football and now is just a retired peice of shit!

  53. Stephen says:

If they were going to sell Mascherano aand Alonso they surely would have bought Barry?

  54. Trevor says:

    @ theboogeyman

Its practicaly fact that we will do well this seaon and put in some master class performances! I Actualy love it when Ex Liverpool Players comentate on Us.

its a joy to watch them having to praise our performances and see the look on their face not liking it!

WE dont have too many bad performances so the chances are they will be sitting there with their tail between their legs!!

    Ha fuckin ha!

  55. Trevor says:

    @ Stephen

Dont forget Steve Gerarrd has signed a contract extension! He is Liverpools Roy of the Rovers!

He can play every position and at the same time, whilst making the drinks and Cut Oranges for half time!

Anyway Rafa Likes Facts….. How about this Rafa incase you didnt know.. You won fuck all last year……..Im not being vindictive… just stating facts!

You havent won the League in 18 years……….Fact…… Not attacking you or anything. Just stating Facts…

Fergie is a more sucessful manager than you – Fact!

Manchester United is a Bigger Club than Liverpool… Fact… ( basing my opinion on Ground Size, Squad Size, Squad Ability, Fan Base, Quality of Manager, Quality of Board & Owners!

    The list goes on……

  56. aig alex is god says:

i lìve in india and espnstar is pretty good.though the panel has ex scouser steve mcman .bt it is decent @stephen alonso and masch wnt leave.lfool are quoting rubbish sums for the two of them.

  57. King Eric says:

I am actually quite pleased that there is hardly any 12.45 Saturday lunchtime kick offs as we always seem to play shite. Like someone else says ALL games should kick off at the same time on the opening day of the season.

The dippers have no chance of signing Ribery. They simply have not got the money UNLESS they sell Alonso AND Mascherano and that would be silly of them. Why the fuck would he want to go to that Spanish club with fuck all ambitions and a Waiter as their manager? It won’t happen.

As for Berba being the makeweight in a deal for Aguero, do we honestly think after tracking him for 2 or 3 years and spending £30 million Sir Alex will sell him after one season? No chance.

  58. DanS says:

    Is ESPN pay-per-view?

  59. Jack says:

rafa beneathus coming out with more of his rants hahahhahaaah cause he didnt get his man, i hope alonso tells him 2 jog aswell after the way he treated him

  60. aig alex is god says:

we wnt sel berba.he is a class act after al.jst bcoz we signed for 30miln does nt he wil scre 30 goals .why are people forgetting he had 10assists to his name and a stunning first touch.aguero is nt dat good and is an argie and lpool fan.frget it.

  61. wakey says:

    @Stephen

I suspect that when City put their early bid in for Barry, Liverpool may have thought Alonso and Mascherano were happy. Both the rumours on those seemed to crop up AFTER Barry had joined city. FSW has said he tried to get Barry but ‘Money’ was the issue. With Chelsea pushing the price up on Johnson it seems it may have been the case of Barry or Johnson and they felt with Alonso and Mascherano they were covered but are now regreting their choice

  62. Stephen says:

Wakey, good point but Ribery is so out of their league it is comedy, it is like me going to The Printworks and trying to pull Megan Fox.

  63. Anon says:

Stephen, you have a better chance mate!

  64. Tony Starks says:

You never know there maybe a Megan Fox working there!

  65. Stephen says:

Not when I have been there mate more like Samantha Fox.

  66. Tufty says:

To be honest, I prefer the 5:15 kick offs for home games, its just a pain for some aways depending what the trains are like.

  67. Coogie says:

Up until a few years back the late and early kos were because of concern of fan trouble with big games, now they are clearly dictated by the fat cats! English Football is a joke, a gigantic commercialised joke, who con each fan!

  68. godpye says:

ESPN – I wonder if we (in the USA) will have to suffer that “back of the old onion bag” Irish commentator during the Prem season?
Do people in other countries have to listen to that prick?

  69. redmojo says:

I don’t think ESPN will have the games in the US. I assumed Setanta will still have them? I don’t get it…

  70. vishnu1729 says:

dont worry ESPN is a very well commercialized channel……its one of the best i have seen
