Rio and Vidic are formidable defenders, but Adebayor is in an equally menacing form as Ronaldo. So it would be an even contest tilted slightly in favour of ManU owing largely to the home ground advantage. It is a mouth watering contest.

Spuds are a deluded lot and would possibly go happy without any trophies for the next 5 years simply because they beat Arsenal reserves 5-1.

£7 million for a great player who is injured just as much as Saha? Wouldn’t get my vote. Wes Brown has convinced in 90% of the games he’s played right back this season. The reason we’ve conceded so few goals doesn’t owe entirely to our great back 5, but to Rooney, Tevez, Hargreaves, Anderson etc for defending well as a team.

Pique and Danny Simpson will do well at Old Trafford beyond this year, I’m sure of that.

Scott-Manucho? He hasn’t been menioned on here by anyone, despite continuous rumours of who we may or should sign, the man we have got is going unmentioned, scoring 3 goals in the African Cup in the first week.

As for the cup draw, SUPRISE SUPRISE!! Liverpool & Chelsea once again get lowley opposition. I look forward to a great tie against Arsenal, hopefully we’ll be singing are you Tottenham in disguise!

Defensively we have been superb this season with Rio, Vidic and Evra superb. We do look a little light with Pique looking shakey against Bolton and Wesley who never convinces me at the best of times. Just makes me womder £7m for Woodgate might not be a bad punt…
