Rio Ferdinand, Danny Welbeck, Nani, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Michael Carrick, Michael Owen, Darron Gibson and Mame Biram Diouf visited the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Wayne Rooney, Park Ji-Sung, Patrice Evra and Tom Cleverley went to The Christie.

    Awhhhhh, fantastic the lads, taking time off to do that, great work.True they are just fine fine people.
    I always will believe United players are gentlemen and trained on how to conduct themselves, with humility and class.
    God bless to the two youngsters in the photo’s, hope Santa is good to them both,and can provide along with the Doctors and Nurses, the gift of health.

    Well done to the lads. Rio was there as well and i like the photo of him and Mame with a young patient from the Mail. Fergie also got into the spirit contributing 500,000 to a lung cancer charity.
    Both his folks died of lung cancer.

    I remember during my medical school years the players from our American football team doing this too. Just have to say the quarterback was all smiles while cameras were there, but a prick when they left. The backup QB stayed longer and came every couple of weeks without cameras. Hope some of the United players are more like the latter player. I will say my family were lucky to meet the team in Toronto at their hotel and Giggs, Scholes, Sir Alex and United security were absolute class to my daughters and helped turn them into rabid fans too!
