Max – just because you can’t hear doesn’t make United fans silenced.

They sang for Park, Giggs, Anderson, Tevez, as well as the repetitive chanting of ‘Champions of England, Champions of Europe’, and ‘We all agree United are better than England’, Cantona’s 12 days of Christmas, to name a few that I distinctly remember hearing.

As I say, this is all from a grainy football stream. So either you’re kidding yourself and talking the talk on here or you’re deaf.

which i’m glad of tbh, only seats empty where the ones in the holte where you can’t see anything. the day that section gets filled, is the day I know we’ve got gloryhunters as fans.

If Real Madrid met our asking price? I believe there were rumours of a 100 Million pound transfer somewhere in that long, boring saga yet Ronaldo’s still here. When Fergie says no, he means no. Get that right.

Paul – no we wouldn’t call him Judas, because since the very beginning he has said he wanted to go to Spain. We all know it’s going to happen at some point. He’s never made out to be some dyed in the wool supporter of our club.

Barry trying to jump ship on you at his peak would have been like Ryan Giggs or Paul Scholes trying to go (but worse, because he was actually your captain). Why are you trying to compare the commitment of a player who’s been with you since he was a teenager and was your captain… to a foreigner who has always said he will one day play in Spain? I don’t really get it.

Just wanted to say I look forward to a good match and a villa win (hopefully). But this is for the minority of united fans… your hypocrisy is mind blowing. Theres an argument above about spending money, you must admit you have spent significant amounts over many years to fund your success. This is neccessary in todays game and I am glad that Villa are now starting to realise this under Randy Lerner, if on a much smaller scale. But i remember when Chelsea won the league a few years back and united fans were claiming chelsea ‘bought the title’. This is exactly what every club must do. You do it, chelsea did it, liverpool are trying to do it, arsenal have given up hope now, but you get my point. It seems with some united “fans” its one rule for you and one rule for everybody else.
Sorry its a bit off topic but the above comments were frustrating me. Also, someone mentioned that we are like city and liverpool because we think we are better than we really are… this could not be more incorrect. Our message boards are full of pessimism. Also, less of the arrogance scott the red. My money is on the fact that you live nowhere near manchester.
