i still haven’t properly got over that match, I had pins and needles in my hands for two hours afterwards! I am really warming to little Mickey Owen too. Right just off to watch that goal again on sky plus!

Fergies wisdom topped off with the experience of Giggsy and Owen.

It was an incredible high we all felt. We all were United in sheer fucking joy all around this world.
I still am not over it and will always as we do when legend plays out chase those emotions and replay endlessly those last few seconds.. Thank you Owen. Dam proud to have ya wearing the jersey.

We were watching it in a quiet non-footy “gastro” pub (not my choice). Think we ruined a few peoples sunday lunch, my throat was sore for days!

I’ve watched this goal over and over (as I’m sure most of us have) and they way Owen hung back when the ball was cleared and moved himself into space prior to Giggsy’s pass is the sign of great footballing brain. And to think we’ve got him on a free, hahahaha
