we really need a mid fielder who can run to opposotion box..carrick does that very rarely…but ronaldo covered that very well….so we might need a VDV or modric or snieder in place of carrick…
and about the double hearted WR 10………WAAAAYNE ROOONEY THE WONDER BOY…he will surely be a top three competator for this years fifa world player…i am damn sure abt that……..if he continues his form he can reach the 35+ goal mile stone….with some assists..for that he must take the penalties and must practice free kicks……more over he must play as centre forward

I’m really starting to like little mickey. Great to see him score. Sharp finish, nice and early. But Rooney, pure class. He’s only gonna get better and better. I can’t wait to see Owen get a brace against the scum in front of the kop. I’ll be pissing my pants when he kisses the badge. After all he grew up as an everton fan, so why not.
Also of topic: Whats up with Berba!!!!! He’s working his socks off!! Anyone else noticed? Looks like he’s well up for it this season.

I thought the price would drop a little bit after Everton’s defense conceded 6 goals against Arsenal, lol. His display in that match was quite bad. But he’s really overpriced, he should be around 10-15mills but I don’t mind seeing those morons pay too much for players.

They must be demanding for a CL spot this year with all those new signings.

It’s 100 goals in 5 years and taking into account exilered’s valid points, it is remarkable.As far as injuries go, i hope he will have the same development as Giggs and his injuries will become less frequent later in his career.

There are a few threads on Rooney’s achievement but as this is the most current I thought I’d post here.

When you think of Rooney’s age, the number of injuries he’s suffered plus the amount of times he’s played “out of position”, to reach 100 goals is simply incredible. I absolutly love this guy. His effort, commitment, drive and passion for our club are there for all to see. He will become a legend at Utd and I can’t wait to watch him continue to develop into the player we all know he will become.

As for City paying £24 million for frankenstein,thats just fucked up but I suppose he’s only worth what some stupid club will pay for him.

I my view he is just another journeyman defender with nothing much to offer.I think its great that City are throwing their money away.
