Park: I Don’t Know Why Tevez Left United

Last week, RoM readers were given the opportunity to think of questions to be asked by Manchester United players whilst on tour in the States, thanks to KCKRS. Unfortunately, at the last minute, there was a change in the people who were going to be interviewed, so I sent over a few questions for the new line-up, including these for Park Ji-Sung.

Some United fans fondly refer to you as “Three lung Park” because of your work rate. How do you feel about that nickname?

Park: Actually, maybe I have three lungs. I’m not sure. Stamina is my strength. Maybe, I am eating good Korean food that makes me run.

Are you still friends with a certain former teammate that now plays at City?

Park: I don’t think about leaving Man United. It is the best club in the world. I don’t know why they would want to leave.

Sir Alex was previously quoted as saying Nani’s “personality is improving”, a somewhat backhanded compliment. The citation was incomplete, and therefore disingenuous.

“There’s competition there Nani played really well for us the whole of last season but when Valencia came back his form was so good that I couldn’t leave him out of the team,” said Ferguson.

“Nani was unfortunate not to be picked for the Champions League final but he’s maturing all the time. He’s a really, really good player.

“His personality is improving, too. He used to be a quiet lad, but he’s now come out of his shell.

“I think he’ll be challenging for a spot this season and he’ll play a lot of games.”

I have cited the complete quote, but here is the link anyway.

Ferguson is clearly a legend, yes, and the greatest British manager since Clough.

However, he is not beyond criticism. Yes, he has shown an outstanding ability to change and adapt to different challenges and build numerous successful teams, but he does make the odd mistake. It is not ‘ungrateful’ to recognise this. Just because one may not agree with the manager on every tactical decision or signing doesn’t mean everyone else has the right to round on them and start verbally abusing them. Some people may rate a play, some may not. Some may agree with every decision, others may not. This is the beauty of football, reds, so let’s accept everybody’s opinions and not go shouting your mouths off if one deviates.

    Afternoon all true REDS

I wanted to check in on my beloved RoM. Just got back from a couple of hours on the beach suffering from extreme difficulties in breathing and an excessive heart beat. Reasons are not health related mind you but from watching those babes wearing mere threads that they dare call bikinis!

@Cedars, Remember, we could have anyone undercover to take you out at any time. We know your weak spot also.

    Balaji

If you or Willie were dressed in ‘undercover’ bikinis then trust me I will spot the difference! hahahaha

  6. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@Cedars, What makes you think we will get directly into the action?

Do you remember what happened to Cyril when he trusted Nigella with her cupcakes?

    Muahaha…

    you are crazy!

Manchester United are ranked the most valuable sports team by Forbes.

Manchester United are the #1 ranked UEFA team with the highest coefficient in the last 5 seasons (10 points clear of their closest rival, Barcelona).

4 league titles in 5 years (with the 5th one missed just by a single point).

3 Champions League finals in 4 years.

The third richest football club (behind Barcelona and Real Madrid).

    What more do you want?
