One very small but important point….

THERE IS NO WAY RAMSEY’S LEG WAS BROKEN BEFORE SHAWCROSS MADE CONTACT.

Please, take a look at the replay. And yes Daveob2, shawcross’ leg hit ramsey’s and went backwards. That’s what happens when you swing your leg at a fixed object ie another persons planted leg. Is that really so hard to understand? really?

Why, of all things to take issue with, do people even need to bring this up? It boggles the mind how dumb a suggestion that is, as if Ramsey snapped his fibula and tibula planting his foot in the ground while running, as if it just so happened to occur a split second before Shawcross swung his leg as hard as he could and hit that same leg.

The ridiculousness of that one aspect of this post says enough about the level of objectivity and sense of the author.

Scott- normally enjoy your stuff but this is poor. A photo taken AFTER contact was made and then saying it proves that Shawcross didn’t break his leg- please.

As the pic above shows, he clearly broke his leg lunging into the ground…. to suggest the pic is after the tackle is hilarious, unless upon contact Shawcross moved backwards….. midair….
The ref even said it wasn’t a red but that he had to give one due to the injury……
You won’t win the league bacause your team is spineless…… add that to the fact that you have an utterly rubbish striker from Denmark..

Wenger was wrong to react like he did to the situation and then after nearly a week when you thought he would have calmed down and take part in a much more measured press conference he continues his rants towards Shawcross.

Saying that, I have no idea how I would react if I was in that situation so I shouldn’t criticise but I shall!

Primates,

Some classless comments from a classless club. I have no problem professing my hatred for you Mancs, Chelski or the Spuds. However, I would still be outraged if Rooney or any player from these clubs suffered a potentially career threatening injury by a reckless challenge such as Shawcross made.

I find it enlightening and amusing that the first outbreak of decency among your ranks (well done Phz) is greeted with internecine attacks.

Thanks for the compliments, and the spelling lesson. My father was really chuffed, as he was an Irish labourer. I went to St. Bernard’s Catholic School in Stepney, which apparently is now called Tower Hamlets. You obviously like the sound of your own voice, as you appear to dominate this website.

One thing you should realize is that education and common sense don’t come hand in hand.

For your information I know many of the Manchester United old players personally, including George Best God Rest His Soul, Alex Stepney, he did play for Millwall. You can check this on Wikipaedia. we have just won 3-1, how much did you pay Bendtner to miss all the goals??
