PICTURE: Bellamy Punches United Fan

Mark Hughes, who last week shamefully defended Adebayor’s stamp on Van Persie’s face, has again attempted to defend the indefensible.

“The guy shouldn’t have been on the pitch, that’s just not acceptable,” he said. “I seem to remember Brian Clough clipping someone around the earhole because he was being daft, and maybe that’s what Craig has done.”

Sheasy, dont just stand there for chrissakes!

  2. Bebeto says:

That’s one unorthodox “push” in the face.

  3. SoulManc says:

These people shouldn’t be on the pitch, but Bellamy has fuck all right in punching him and IMO deserves a ban for violent conduct and bringing the game into disrepute. Which on a ‘neutral’ level (I could never be properly neutral) he had probably his best performance in years today

  4. Kings says:

Bellamy is a horrible little cunt and Hughes is an ever bigger cunt for defending him.

  5. Infectioner says:

how could you all say that!? it’s so obvious that the fan headbutted Bellamy’s fist :p

  6. wazza (Bezi) says:

guess Hughes has lost his brains. Bellamy is a thug. nuff said

  7. Anon says:

Hughes never ceases to give me more and more reasons to despise him. Sad.

  8. stretfordendole says:

the guy shouldn’t have been on the pitch but he was restrained by the stewards and they were doing their job, there is no need for YSB Bellamy to get involved especially as he ran halfway across the pitch to get involved. And I’m disappointed in Hughes, to compare punching a restrained idiot to what Cloughie did is crazy, I can understand Sparky being annoyed by the events of the day but you can’t continue to defend the indefensible otherwise you end up like Wenger.

  9. Mahesh says:

Sure the fan had no right to be on the pitch, and will get the book thrown at him, as he should (idiot!). Similarly, Bellamy had not need to punch the fan (especially when restrained by stewards), and so deserves to have the book thrown at him as well.

  10. Gooner in peace says:

“The guy shouldn’t have been on the pitch, that’s just not acceptable,”

Presumably Sparky was referring to Bellamy…

Just goes to show what a bunch of chav scum you guys have as neighbours. Well done knocking them off their golden perch today.

  11. GUNNER AFC says:

fuckin prick , city are scumbags full of mugs

  12. smithy99 says:

As has previously been said, the guy shouldn’t have been on the pitch. But Bellamy is a spiteful piece of shit who deserves to get fucked over that. I hated seeing the bastard score today as i despise him with a passion. I really mean it when i say i would rather have seen Tevez score today than that nasty little cunt.

  13. Fze123 says:

wtf, if the stewards pulled the fan away, then why the fuck did bellamy punch him. out of anger and bitterness, i suppose. hopefully he’ll get a 3 match ban too.

  14. The Mancunian says:

typical Bellamy, hold him down whilst i crack the idiot, tell you what would,nt you like to see him try that shit with Roooooooooony,,you know Roo would bitch slap back to the Ronda Valley in one swipe,,

  15. Dublin_Arse says:

Fucking nacker bastards, They give you too many reasons to hate them. Hughes is a fuckin’ willyhead.

  16. bertiebirdman says:

Coward, YSB Cunt! The fan was being restrained. JOS asleep on the job again.

  17. BlueAnt says:

poor innocent fan… just like the scum throwing coins at players… do we get an article about that author? no i didn’t think so.

  18. Tony Starks says:

To be honest we don’t know what the fan said or did, maybe I would have done the same as Bellamy in that position – then again I’m not a professional footballer and Bellamy should know better

  19. Red Dave says:

    big man
    punching a RESTRAINED fan

  20. Drew Vader says:

Of course the idiot shouldn’t be on the field, but he’s getting restrained when that pussy sucker punches him…

  21. MUFC the Religion says:

Hughes- Legend to complete prick. Shame.

The fan shouldn’t have been on the pitch end of. Bellamy is a TWAT, despite him being a TWAT, he is quality and should start for City every week, but they play Tevez ahead of him. Tevez was shite today. Actually dreadful. Missed a sitter at the Stretford End which was my first heart attack of the day.

Did anyone see his face when he walked out the tunnel. He was expecting cheers, but got booed loudly. The look on his face, mix of bemusement, shock and embarresment. Brilliant.

Michael Owen, Michael Owen, ole ole ole…..

  22. mauly says:

Was it just me or did Bellamy’s goal celebration look like he was pretending to be a plain?

  23. MUFC the Religion says:

    Support from Gooners. Quality.

I’m not making fun of Arsenal fans, I actually love the fact that a hatred of City is growing.

  24. ManUtdPeople says:

the steward looks about 12 hahaha

  25. aig alex is god says:

blueant.dont pretend as if your side is innocent when we come to the wastelands and with your fucking munich song ur fans should be ashamed. go and moan on some shitty blog.anyways the coin was aimed at the argie cunt.poor garrido.

  26. paddys jumper says:

hughes is goin from hero 2 zero rather quick in my eyes , i hate bellamy little fuckin hunchback !! he should get a police charge as well as the fa !!!

  27. Gooner 4 ever says:

    Most amusing

  28. jedi Johnny says:

I bet bellend Bellamy wouldn’t have done it had the guy not been held by 2 or 3 stewards! Thug and coward!

  29. jandsdad says:

Absolutely no reason for the coin throwing today. Cctv will pick up the “tosser” hopefully.
Bellamy needs the book thrown at him, how can hughes even begin to compare Brian Clough and Bellamy the scumbag in the same sentence,
The massive club of manchester have been put in their place.
At least they still have the biggest floodlights in the football league.

No tick tocking from the bell enders tonight

  30. Tufty says:

The fan spat at Bellamy, so you cant blame Bellamy for punching him.

  31. Jonny says:

City are building up their reputation as one of the most hated teams in the league. Obviously you reds have despised them for years but its been a long time since they’ve really been on anyone else’s radar. Not sure what’s more disgraceful, the fact that Bellamy and Adebayor do this sort of thing or that Hughes allows them to get away with it. He’s a small time manager afraid to rebuke his players after displays like this.

  32. fze123 says:

lol, at least o’shea was watching. witness.

  33. Gooner 4 ever says:

On a more serious note, don’t people think that the whole issue of injury time is way too arbitrary?
I’m not moaning about today’s result. There was nothing genuinely unfair about it. Yes, it was unusually long. But great goal by Owen. Citeh can have no REAL complaints. You win some, you lose some. And I couldn’t have cared less which of you sacks of northern Manc shite won today — :) .
But ain’t it about time the whole issue of injury time was made clearer in footy. The inconsistency is ridiculous. It doesn’t happen in other sports. And I don’t see why football fans have to put up with it, even when it works in your team’s favour.

  34. Isaidso says:

Since when was it ok for a player to punch a football fan in the face, when he is restrained AND COULD NOT DEFEND HIMSELF! I know that fan will be dealt with by MUFC and will be banned, but if I was him, I would make a civil case report to police about Bellamy AND the stewards/police who allowed Bellamy to attack him while he was being restrained. City are completely mentally disturbed, including Mark Hughes himself – they obviously cannot COPE with the stress that is part and parcel of being a top club. I mean two weeks on the run, thuggish behaviour from their players – needs sorting by club and PL. The fan who threw the coin, will be sussed out by MUFC and banned accordingly. The police may take their own action, as they should do against Bellamy!

  35. bchilds says:

He shouldn’t be anywhere near Bellamy and thinking about, who would want to be!

Fan shouldn’t be there, Bellamy shouldn’t have reacted. They’re both in the wrong. Bellamy is scum though, I hope the ‘fan’ got him back.

  36. Jack says:

this aint to gooner 4 ever because his not complaing about us but just other fans who come up with this shit about fergie time and shit….sorry, have i missed something? isnt extra time for BOTH teams??
ill qoute what i saw someone else say

“”Bellamy scored and the game restarted on 91 minutes ish. Four mins of added time = 95:00. Add 30 seconds for the Carrick sub and that’s 95:30. Owen scored on 95:28.”"

  37. gunned_down says:

I`m waiting for Bellamy to run with a pool stick to fight Ade (dressing room or hotel) . Any wagers that Ade will head butt Bellamy on the pitch? I don`t dislike City but Ade isn`t doing them any favors I laughed when Owen scored …Avit !! Don`t think Bellamy is helping Ade`s case lol

  38. kel says:

It was funny to see Bellamy punch and it was even funnier to see Ferdinand grab hold of Bellamy after he punch. Bellamy look like a kid who know he is wrong and ask to be be forgiven. LOL

  39. Mark the Devil says:

You know what i’d love the welsh midget to try that with me, i’d twat him from here to kingdom come. Oh and hughes is a cunt.

  40. Gudjohnsen says:

Hughes surely has his hand full controlling those “mature” players of his. Adebayor, crazy Bellamy and sulky Robinho.

I agree, both the fan and Bellamy are in the wrong. But Bellamy is the professional, he should know better and control himself. What do you think would be made of an incident like this if Rooney would punch a City fan at City’s turf? I can only imagine….

I also remember an interview with my fellow countryman Hermann Hreidarsson, a defender at Portsmouth. He was asked who is the most annoying asshole he has ever played against…and he said Bellamy was the biggest asshole he has played against, can’t stand him, lol. I think he got it spot on…

  41. Tufty says:

I didnt see Arsenal fans complaining when it was 5 mins injury time at OT the other week and Utd were leading and they nearly scored all beit the disallowed goal.
City scored on 90 mins and spent 2 mins celebrating, they then gave away silly free kicks and booted the ball out for corners.
When the board goes up, its for a minimum of that time, as teams can time watse inbetween.
The issue of time only comes out when a team scores, most weeks these times are given and no goal is scored and it doesnt get a mention.
Stoke v Chelsea had 7 mins on the clock a few weeks back.

  42. Gudjohnsen says:

But was this incident after the game?

  43. Gooner 4 ever says:

Yeah tufty, I hear you, but it’s so arbitrary. I’m sure you don’t have to use much grey matter to recall times when you’ve thought, hang on, only 2 minutes, etc?

  44. mikeyg2310 says:

Hughes was saying about Clough being made a hero for cuffing a fan, and he doubts Bellamy will be seen the same way.
Cantona got 8 months for attacking a fan, Hughes should remember as he was in the same team. As much as I would like it to happen to Bellamy,I can’t see this happening to a non United player.

  45. brett1985 says:

    Gooner

You appear to believe that with ‘a minimum of 4 minutes added time” and then Bellamy scoring, that Bellamy’s 1 minute 38 second celebration should not count for additional added time. Never mind the substitution which is always 30 seconds.

For anyone who can count the added time wasn’t a mystery.

  46. Gooner 4 ever says:

Brett, I think you may have inadvertently hit the nail on the head.
So “Bellamy’s 1 minute 38 second celebration”, because it was in injury time, counts fully and yet if it had been in normal time, it probably wouldn’t have.
It follows, therefore, that injury time is treated differently than normal time, assuming your intepretation is what went through the referee’s mind.
Is this a new rule? I think we should be told.

  47. jandsdad says:

    well put mikeyg2310

probably be a slap on the wrists. Can you remember how jamie carragher wasn’t even charged when he jump upto the stands at Luton fans a few years back.

  48. SqueakyRed says:

Just seen the replay on MotD2. Was more a slap/push than a punch although it did look pretty bad when I was at the ground.
Not good about the coin thrown from the Stretford End either.

  49. brett1985 says:

    Gooner:

The referee told Mark Hughes he has added 1 minute for Bellamy’s goal celebration. The rest of the time ie 38 seconds was not considered a stoppage.

“had been in normal time, it probably wouldn’t have”

    Pure speculation.

  50. jimmy bob says:

This is the same bellamy who has been for racially abusing a doorman, and hitting a woman.

Now we see more of his bravery hitting a guy who was been helf by stewards and unable to defend himself

ban the little twat and hughes is turning into the new wenger with his idiotic attempts to defend his players regardless of the facts.

I agree with mauly above he deffo did a bit of plane celebration for his 2nd goal

  51. tonyss-gooner says:

Can u confirm that the city fans were singing the despicable Munich song?
If so, it’s a bit fuckin’ rich that Hughes complained about the Arsenal fans abusing Greedybayor last week.

I don’t think that there is a worse insult than the Munich song, so maybe Hughes wants to put his own house in order before he starts whinging.

Great to see city’s multi million pound defence play so well today. Toure must be wondering what the fuck he’s done!!!

  52. Alpha_RS says:

Bellamy pushed his face with an open hand so to say he punched him is not accurate.

He did however kick the ball at the pitch invader and pushed him in the face.
He should be in trouble for that. That is assault!

  53. brett1985 says:

    That is assault

    - 78,000 witnesses. He will need to call upon the OJ/SG defense.

  54. jimmer9mm says:

Can i just set the record straight on the added time!

    4 minutes added

    Bellamy Celebration 56 seconds

Carrick on 30 seconds that all makes it 95 minutes 26 seconds

The goal was scored 95 minutes 27 seconds

So its fine the ref aint going to stop the game when owen is just about to shoot is he!!

Anyway we were all over them in the second half so fuck em!!

we derserved to win and they defended like cunts that they are!!

Seriously though what was rio doing and what was foster doing he should know that argie twat will chase down anything!!!

  55. jespermoses says:

@Mauly.Yeah I thought Bellends celebration was a plane gesture too.I wouldnt put it past the little cunt

  56. Isaidso says:

tonyss-gooner – I think you’ll find that Toure together with the other City mercenaries are too upset to have lost their £9000 Win bonus for losing this game LOL. Defence is probably last thing on their mind. £9000 pound down the drain – their night out ruined – like we care eh?

  57. trevor says:

i really respect bellamy as a player, he can be immence and was a pain in the back side today!

The red mist decends! Although you can understand a little why you would blow your top and hit out!

I could have understood it more if the fan was in his face and he lashed out… From the looks of it he has teamed up with our stewards so they could hold him so that he then could have a free punch!

I hope i can see this somewhere on video!

Obviously we are going to get carpeted for the object thrown at half time, now we will get carpeted for the fan on the pitch!

I just hope Bellamy get his just rewards!!! Anyway, do i care??…… Not really… City go home with no points and an arse spanking today!

  58. judge says:

he was asking for that one, there’s talk of joey barton returning to manchester

  59. Isaidso says:

I saw the highlights on MOTD. It was the end of the game when the fan came on, Bellamy was at least 10 yards away from the fan who was being restrained by stewards/police. He wasn’t near any player, yet Bellamy made it his business to head across to the fan instead of leaving the pitch. He had no reason to approach the fan at all, but he was pissed that City lost the game, and took it into his head to slap the fan. No other reason for him to go over there. Both John O’Shea and Rio Ferdinand intervened as they were not pleased at all at Bellamy’s attack on the fan. They made their feeling known to Bellamy. Good job other City players were not around by this time, or it could have led to a fracas amongst both sets of players. Mental Bellamy – City seem to be collecting the mentals don’t they?

  60. trevor says:

lads is there a video clip of this??

  61. bruce thomas says:

THE SHIT HITS THE FAN :)

  62. trevor says:

havent seen the footage but from the picture it looks like he has assulted a defencless man!

    HAHAHA..

  63. Norton says:

The time added on is cumulative for each individual half. 30 seconds for subs, however long an injury stoppage amounts to, and whatever the referee considers time-wasting – with or without a booking for it. Additional will be goal celebrations; the length of.
All this is added on at the end of each half, for that half only. Bellamy scored inside the second 45 minutes after added-on time was decided – whether it was displayed or not at that juncture.
The celebration thus became another extra to the displayed figure: this noted by the referee. 30 seconds more, too, for the substitution.
The referee will only use 45 minutes for each half before his designated amount of add-on comes into force; delayed display for all of how much this amounts too isn’t the point.
The referee has already decided how much it will be. If he adds even more it will only be for examples as mentioned above. And that is all he did, so City/Hughes can have no complaints.
If OPTA ever deigned to do a season-long study of all matches for all clubs all would see that the so-called “Fergie Time” is just one more convenient myth. Just like the others on United receiving favourable decisions with penalties for and against: yellow and red cards.
If OPTA did do the stats on stuff like this, it’d produce the only Premier League tables United would be halfway down. I believe so, anyway.

  64. judge says:

    judge Said,September 20th, 2009 @0:29
What makes it ‘racist’ is not that Adebayor’s parents are African, it is that he is black, you’re comment at the end is also offensive as it plays upon an ill informed stereotype of ‘black’ people. Racism is just one of many prejudices that pervade our society, some are accepted some are not. You say that it is unacceptable to sing this song about Adebayor’s parents because they are African, it should be unacceptable to sing this song about any parents. I despair to what you’re views are on prejudiced songs sung about any of the following; skin colour, sexual preference, country of birth, hair? and/or colour, spectacled? physical attributes, or any other prejudices. Football has a long way to come. Here’s to a good, honest game tomorrow. Wager’s have been offered for a penalty won by Rooney’s trailing leg, City to finish with ten men or five minutes plus of stoppage time if City are winning, all a bit cynical? mental

  65. trevor says:

Just seen the footage on Sky Sports news and for me its just handbags.

    Bellamy shouldnt hve went over

Fan shouted in his face, and bellamy hit out. Just a push away more than anything else.. its just handbags!

  66. themarkedman72 says:

Bellamy has to go, Cantona went in albeit a worse incident.
    So half what he got??
Cant punch people in the face.
Plus Bellamy was way over doing the celebration when he scored.
He practically did a victory lap.

  67. RedHarry4Life says:

What would happen in Town Centre late on a Saturady night. If police were restraining a drunk and another came over and hit him while the police were restraining him? He would be done for assault.

But then again if Stevie “stepdad” me came claim self defence then there will be no case to answer.

And he does run 15+ yards to get involved, and he does punch the guy.

Would have love to seen his face if the stewarts had said right then you sort it and released the guy.

MOTD2 worked out that the time added on for the goal celebrations and the subs coming on added to exactly the time Owen scored.

    Fucking wonderfull result

  68. eric belfast says:

he sudda punch him back the small fat cunt

  69. Bob Koh says:

Looks like the richest club in the world is going from too many strikers to one miserable cunt Tevez!

  70. Ted Pere Challi says:

Many have always thought that Bellamy was a thug and he has just gone on commit yet another act of thuggery to enhance his reputation. A thug he is and that’s all that he is good for with his tattoes and all. Perhaps people should look at what he does when he goes in for a tackle. Against Manchester United there was no exception. At least on two occasions he could have maimed somebody with an assasin’s smile in his face. Perhaps the skill is taught at Manchester City and Mark Hughes has to defend it no matter how wrong it is.

  71. 00spaw says:

I agree with redharry4life. Wonderful result! Now let us just sit back and watch City moan moan and moan. MOTD2 proved everything was within time but I am guessing that won’t stop them.

Oh, and Mark don’t end up like Wenger, defending your players when they are clearly completely in the wrong. Adebayour and now this, you were a alright player for us so please stop it!

  72. Brian G says:

Man was held/restrained. No need for Bellamy to stick his bib in. He’s a out and out coward and the EPL should make an example of him. There is NO EXCUSE for Bellamy butting in.

    Salford Bred Red

  73. paloi says:

this twat should get punishment like cantona had. fa dont paly double standard here. whatever reason bellamy gives it was no ecuse for him to punches the fan.

  74. p_m says:

And there I thought, he had punched the ref…

  75. the redvill says:

Bellamy punced utd fun? That should be 3 march ban from FA.

  76. Tony Starks says:

Actually saw the Bellamy incident on MOTD.. he actually went out of his way to run quite a distance to where the fan was restrained and then took a slap at him.. thats a bit different to the fan coming up to him..

so I take back the previous sympathetic comments about the incident..

By the way I thought I couldnt get more surprised at the bitterness towards our team from the media but how they are treating this injury time stuff is a total joke.. at least MOTD didn’t jump on the bandwagon for once!

  77. thomson-gunner says:

Maybe the FA should look into this belammy thug behaviour and ban him. AS usual the stupid-idiot mark hughes gave excuses. You cannot defend this type of behaviour, so what credibility has he got? Anyway, Utd deserved to win. Citeh was gifted 2 goals but lost. Congrats!

  78. Ted Pere Challi says:

He is a coward, a cad of the lowest order, this tattoed cretin Bellamy, to go after someone who was some distance away from him and being led away. He has no balls to face the fan when unrestrained and able to strike back. To strike someone who cannot retaliate is easy. Let’s hope that the fan is okay … Mon Ami Bellamy you have lost something every professional ought to have: self-respect. You and Wenger, who is constantly talking about someone committing foul after foul and not being caught by referees, without seeing similar actions by his own helmsmen, are soulmates and bum chums.

  79. Nick the Red says:

When Eric attacked a fan he was banned for the rest of the season by the FA wonder if they will do the same for the welsh twat. As for Hughes he is even worse than Arsene Winger, he only says he did not see it , Hughes fucking condones it

  80. spurdozer says:

I am a gooner and this was the first time I wanted Man U to win. These blue scumbags with that clown hughes and the biggest cunt of the world Adebarndoor deserve to be booed and punched in every game.
I wonder what it feels to be managed by UTD legend Sparky. I would be digusted if THE ARSENAL was managed by the prick of all time Tweedy Sheringham.

  81. BlueAnt says:

still no talk about coin throwing scum fans…..

  82. aig alex is god says:

blueant.dont pretend as if your side is innocent when we come to the wastelands and with your fucking munich song ur fans should be ashamed. go and moan on some shitty blog.anyways the coin was aimed at the argie cunt.poor garrido.hope he did not get hurt badly.

  83. DB says:

As a gooner fan all I can say is that the fan is a twat. not for coming on the pitch but for his reaction after being hit by Bellamy..

The fan should have instantly collapased to the floor holding his face and rolling around as if he had been shot..a bit like Players do just to get others in trouble.

He should have pretended not to be able to use his legs so he cant be walked off the pitch and bring a stretcher on for him.

He needs to know press charges of aggrevated assault and GBH against Bellamy. This will ensure Bellamy is banned like Cantona was.

  84. mufc damu!!!! says:

like evra i feel for tevez….but did he think city would beat united fck him and the no.9(real) we are over them and funny we are more better…and non of them was worth what they were paid for..we laugh to the bank..

  85. sppibsihmkcrkg says:

anyone defending bellamy needs to actually watch the video. Fan runs on, runs nowhere near bellend. Stewards quickly tackle him to ground, then restrain him. Small no necked cowardly prick runs over to something thats not his business, then pushes restrained fan in face. Just hope that fan gets to see bell end in the street and can reciprocate while five of his mates are holding bell end

  86. trevor says:

I have seen the incident on Sky Sports News, It doesnt show bellamy running up to the guy.

I seen where the guy stuck his head in bellamys direction and shouted at him. From Lip Reading it looks like he said, “Mr Bellamy i love you, You are my Idol please slap me!”

    However i could be wrong!

  87. fist_of_fury says:

bellamy deserved to headbutted against his fist! dam bellamy…what is he doin in the stands? oops…

    edit: comment = vice-versa

    dam ref was bought!

  88. PossePossebon says:

Love how the gooners are slating Shitty as well, that’s awesome to see. =D

  89. Teg says:

Mr. Hughes: Remember Cantona? I do… A FOUR MONTHS punishment!
The fan shouldn’t be on the pitch? Right… But is that a motive to punch him? And when he was already controled? Losing it’s hard… I know…
Now I understand Adebayor and Bellamy… With a coach who has no moral and who stands by scenes like this, how would they have it?!
Get some sense… And put it on your players heads! Jesus!

  90. onelol says:

Hand the thug a three match ban and Ade should be banned for longer. If you kick someone in the head anywhere outside the ground, you’ll probably end up in jail. Why the fuck is he given only a three match ban? Fucking thugs. By the time these mugs win a single trophy, they’ll be the most hated bunch of cunts in the whole world of football.

  91. carlosAMI says:

wat 2 say man?man shitty dont know how 2 b anythin else but crap-feel sorry for people like barry, toure, given & the other so called “good ones”….they will learn as did damien duff & others like that money ain’t everythin in albeit short footballing lives…And,passion, as showed by the red devils cannot be bought!long live man u ,long live saf!

  92. ScotchEggsRule says:

Don’t any of you mugs try and defend that fan. He broke the law, he threatened the safety of the players and they have every right to defend themselves if they see some knuckle dragger charging towards them. Maybe Man Utd should try and steward their matches better, especially in derby matches and the rest of you, pull your heads out of your rose tinted arses and wake up that was the fans fault, no one else’s.

  93. Old Git says:

Taking a leaf out of Cantona’s book; Man City are the new Man United.

  94. Old Git says:

Ban Mark Hughes from the touchline 1 game for condoning violence and bringing the game into disrepute.
Ban Bellamy 3 games for assault.
Sack the stewards for not doing their job properly.
Ban the fan for life for entering the pitch.
Send the ref into League 2 for playing 6 minutes of stoppage time when he had only signalled 4.

  95. Red Yank says:

Sure the fan shouldn’t have been on the pitch but he was restrained so Bellamy didn’t have to hit him. Bellamy’s a mug but that Hughes comes out and defends this kind of thing is pretty ridiculous, he deserves the hairdryer treatment.

  96. Colie says:

Ok…..this a joke at this stage….Bellamy didn’t punch the fan….he pushed him in the face…..maybe Scott might want to change his headlines and get his facts straight. It’s the same kind of ignorance to the truth that brings on the hatred towards utd fans….7 mins of injury time played without a physio getting up off his arse once in the second half, only at Old Trafford and only when they are drawing or losing….as Cilla Black would say Surprise…Surprise…..

  97. Johno the Peacock says:

OK – here’s a shock for you guys…a Leeds fan agreeing with you!!!

City are everything that’s wrong with football. A spiteful bunch of ingrates that think money = class.

If I was at the FA Adebayor would get six games for his cowardly stamp on van persy (I mean – stamping on someones HEAD ffs), another 3 for stamping on Fabregas, another three for slapping Song (?) and another 3 for his pathetic petulant childish goal celebration.

Bellamy should be banned for at least 6 games for what he did. 3 for the slap and 3 for being a downright coward.

Mind you having said all that I still hate your lot!!!

    LEEDSLEEDSLEEDS

  98. King Eric says:

Johno – Fucking hell man, a Leeds fan actually defending United! Fair play pal. Make sure you hammer those bin dipping cunts tomorrow night.

  99. uche says:

bellamy deserves up to five match ban, becos i fill the three match ban is too small for him.
