   i’d rather read about United. I’m annoyed after last night. All credit to Wigan’s workrate and attacking, but Fergie made a few absolute howlers. Namely, starting Giggs after his last start against Fulham, starting Hernandez ahead of Welbeck whose form has been pretty poor in recent months, subbing Young and Rooney for lads who aren’t quite match fit, and making all 3 subs so early which almost left us in big trouble when Jones got injured.

   And it seemed to me that Valencia didn’t play as wide as usual. An attempt to sure up midfield and force Wigan narrow? At any rate it nullified any attacking potential we had. 1 shot on target is pretty pathetic.

   Ferguson’s a hero to all of us but we can’t deny that he makes strange decisions at times. But we all have bad days, and i spose we were always gonna drop points at some point. No more slip-ups reds.

   I wonder if there was a few people hoping to cash in on city at the beginning of the season. Buying season tickets to sell on at a higher price because they thought city would be in demand being in the champions league and mounting a title challenge. Only now to realise no- one gives a toss about them and they can’t get rid of the tickets. They clearly thought they’d be a MASSIVE rise in demand for city, remember their buffers guide? Lol

    Anybody any ideas as to why there was a ref switch at the last minute at wastelands ? Apparently ref Lee Mason should have been in charge but was substituted for fourth official Kevin Friend. The FA haven’t given any reason to the bitters.
