Michael Owen has a great goals to games ratio, even at Madrid and Toon it was decent. Loads of toon players seemed to get injured so maybe their pitch / training etc. was dodgy. If our physios can keep him fit this could be the bargain of the season. 50K a week and no transfer fee.

I really don’t see how this is a gamble. The only thing is that Owen must not be the only striker we sign – If we sign Aguero (Top player) as well Owen will be ideal as an impact player from the bench.
