“Au revoir Cantona… come back when you have won 18″ read the banner at Anfield all those years ago.
Eric Cantona did exactly that, returning to Old Trafford on Sunday to watch United beat Liverpool, with us winning our 18th title last May.
Cantona was at Carrington yesterday.

Man Utd News 24/7

Loving it. Btw. Hank Moody is a red (or should I say green and gold). http://www.facebook.com/hank.californication
Long live the king!
A legend and a genius – is there anything else to say?
Ooh Aah Cantona !! Long Live the King !!
Bonjour Eric
There will always be a place in our hearts and a spot in the carpark reserved for Eric Cantona.
A King amongst men.
The one, the only – ERIC CANTONA !!!!!
OOH AHH CANTONA.
The King………………………………
The most favourite united player all the time
Great picture, well done to the boys at the Daily Mail and Scott for bringing it up on here. Two of the biggest legends around!
OOH AAH CANTONA! Great to see him back.
Au Revoir lol Je suis enchante de faire votre connaissance…..SAF is saying to Eric
Great view, long live the King!
Haakon: haha, great stuff!

Our new King is a doubt for Saturday.
Great to see the king!
I have been reading Philippe Auclair’s book ‘The Rebel who would be king’. Great book so far.
Anyone who adores the king like me should read this book.
You get to know Eric as a person and you will understand why he became such a legend.
Like SAF said : “If there was a player born to play for Man Utd, it would have to be Eric!”
Strangely you will also find that Wazza is a lot similar to Eric except that the latter was better at Kung Fu..;o)
All hail The KING…..King ERIC of Old Trafford manor!
I loved his dialogue in the film, “I’m not a man, I am Cantona!!’
Just look at him. What a geezer. I hope they show video’s of this genius to the young ones, I am sure they will. An absolute inspiration.
” I am not a man. I am Cantona.”
Legend.
Can’t say Eric is better at kung fu but Roons is at boxing read the book amazing…..
OHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHH CANTONA
Doesn’t he bare resemblance to Saddam Hussein (after his capture with his beard)

“When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea”
LEGEND
what book mate???
THE KING IS BACK WHAT A LEGEND!!!
Top photos Scott – where did you get them??
“He who is afraid to throw the dice, will never throw a six”
“My best moment? I have a lot of good moments but the one I prefer is when I kicked the hooligan”
LEGEND
One swing of his right foot and the spice boys were downed at Wembley, thank you Eric.
Wonder if he gave a rousing speech before kick off?Somewhere along the lines of ‘Express Yourselves!’
Hopefully he’ll be rewarded with a permenant statue along the lines of the ‘Holy Trinity’ with Giggs and Becks
Legend! Enuf saud
Uhh Ahh Cantona
@kidmeister
Becks doesnt deserve a trophy
Giggs, Cantona and one day Rooney and of course SAF
Rooney never played with Cantona Sayyid?Becks did alot for us and his green and gold scarf moment makes him United through and through!
@kidmeister
Beckham left us for Real Madrid. Wearing that scarf doesnt warrant him having a statue. I wouldn’t bracket him in the LEGEND status. Same goes with Ronaldo.
Giggs self explanatory
Rooney if he stays fit and remains with us for his whole career will beat both Giggs and Charlton’s records so he will deserve a statue one day
Cantona made us the team we are now
King Eric @ 13:36: “Just look at him. What a geezer”
He looks the picture of youth to some of us !
Merci Eric.
LEGEND
The King is alive! Long live the King!
Ferguson- God
Cantona- Jesus
Eric Cantona was sublime. Just look at his volley at Crystal Palace. The perfect goal.
’66 was a good year for England.
Cantona was born.
LEGEND.
Hates the Scousers does King Eric. Glad to hear he was at the match.
I wonder how the current squad reacted to meeting him. I’d like to have been a fly on the wall at Carrington that day.
All hail the King!
Fergie Fergie Sign Him Up
@ Sayyid
you’ve got to be kidding about Ronaldo. Scholes is a legend too in my opinion.
Ronaldo has got to be a united legend
his attitude was not a manchester united attitude but
what he did football wise is some of the “BEST SINCE BEST” as they said
im not saying ronaldo was george best but 42 goals 3 premier leagues 2 champions league finals 1 winners medel world champion young player balon dor went from a 17 year old one trick pony to 80 million pound world player of the year that man is legend-… wait for it… and I hope you’re not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is DAIRY!
CANTONA the living legend
arijc – Completely agree mate.
Fergie should hire Eric for the next 2 months to provide a presence in the locker room and on the bench. Mike phelan is ok, but Eric is god, besides can you imagine making a mistake then having to deal with fergie and cantona?
Him watching on was the reason why we won; our lucky charm. What a great man.
Hi,
This guy was so pivotal in what came after. Forever grateful, Monsieur Cantona, forever grateful.
COME ON YOU MIGHTY REDS UNITED UNITED UNITED
united.george
That is a good idea. Getting in trouble with them there’d be more than a flying boot.
Then when we win the league and parade it around OT, Cantona will be on the pitch milking the crowd as only he can.
@ Edge
The volley was at selhurst park against Wimbledon in the game Vinny Jones tried to snap him in 2 and Dinny Irwin got what aswell as the volley must be 1 of the greatest utd goals after 20 odd passes
Viiva Gonaldo
Thanks. All I remember was Selhurst Park. To be honest when I think of the goal I can’t even remember what the oppo was wearing. Top goal though eh.
ERIC THE KING!
“What a friend we have in Jesus, he’s our saviour from afar
What a friend we have in Jesus, and his name is Cantona”
Just saw Looking for Eric, had to order the dvd from the UK. Brilliant! I never thought I could love this guy anymore, but it just grows.
I hope Rooney can at least make the bench on Saturday, I think Bolton will be a tricky game.
Sayyid – agree with you on Becks. Keano has to be there with Giggs and Cantona.
Who is Hank Moody please?
People have different opinions about every united player, but I have never seen any one who thought differently about the impact Eric had. Speaks volumes for the man and why we love him so much even after all these years. United legend.
Love the King and have pictures of him around the house. I used to love the goal celebrations . Arms bent slightly away from his sides Pigion chest and the look of slight arrogance on his face .’TopThat!’
Long live the King.
@ GTHTT
I have to agree about Ronaldo he is a Legend. He won us games on his own ,the 2-1 win at Fulham springs to mind . S A F. Made him the player he is now , World Class.
.
Ronaldo wore 7 fucked off to the mob to have a dream
Beckham wore 7 fucked off to the mob to increase the bank balance
Eric Cantona – the king – left the club in tears going out on a high (although we know he could still be playing now!)
Eric Cantona was is and always will be the King of this club.
King Eric Cantona……………………the only man who makes me smile like a lovestruck teenage girl! The most special footballer ever.
Dear King,
Have you been working out?
Love,
Me
The mans a poet. He returns to see Liverpool hit rock bottom.
Side note: I proposed to my girl the night we saw Looking For Eric. I felt I had the legends spirit running through me. She said ‘yes’ thankfully.
@sir82
…congrate bro
Must be KIng’s lucky charm i guess
Hail the King!
WHAT A GUY
Owen: here is your shirt back Sir Eric of Cantona
Eric: Sacre Bleu! What are you doing here you wittle Kop testicle?
Owen: I saw the light Jesus. I play for the men’s team now
Eric: Ah! Very good little scrotum. I will now blow my nose into this hankie and you will take this with a bucket and go wash the Glazers car
One day he will come home, imagine if Eric ever became manager
THE MOST TWO HUMAN BEINGS THAT MADE ME SOOOOOO HAPPY, ERIC THE KING & SIR FERGIE THE KING OF KINGS !!!
