PICTURE: Two United legends after tonight’s semi-final

Following tonight’s impressive 4-0 win for Real Madrid over Bayern Munich, goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted with Roy Keane on the touchline.

Ronaldo scored his 16th Champions League goal of the season as his team battered the European champions to book their place in the final.

Keane, who was working as a pundit for ITV, passed on his congratulations to his former teammate.

Keane. What a player. What a leader. Who can forget Turin? He may not be a legend but that was a legendary performance. I remember he absolutely bossed a game at Anfield once, Giggsy scored twice (November 2003). One of the best midfield showings you’ll ever see. Loved him as a player.

  2. lecho says:

Offloading Ronaldo was United’s biggest transfer mistake EVER. Period.

  3. Jackie Spain says:

@lecho: Do you actually believe United had a choice?

    Ronaldo Legend…

Some comments are a mystery how people can come up with such comments! How you say Fabio cant play football is laughable at best!

  5. Marko Maric says:

But the reality is always the reality: A team that doesn’t defend well or doesn’t score lots of goals, if they concede lots of goals, is completely in trouble. A team without balance is not a team. When they have the ball, we have to try and stop them scoring. When we have the ball, we want to try and score. This is football – the football that I know.

“I remember saying in my first period here, if you have a goalkeeper like Petr Cech who puts the ball in the opponents’ box and a striker like Didier Drogba who wins everything in the air, why play short? Because you are stupid?

“If your opponents are very fast on the counter and want space behind your defensive line, if you give them that space you are stupid.”

So simple, so intelligent…if your strikers are weak, it would be a suicide to attack…

    Lecho he wanted to leave!

Wow! you really can say Fabio doesn’t know how to play football? You must be Moyes. Letting Ron go wasn’t a mistake, not signing top class CMs was the mistake. Players I want from Madrid are Modric and Di Maria, the combination of Modric’s intellect, skill and industry, and Di Maria’s fire, endless motor and passion has been Madrid’s biggest weapon this season. I want only selfless players.
    Too many egos already.

The sad thing is neither man has even come close to being replaced.
