PICTURE: United Reserves Celebrate As Champions

United were named Premier Reserves League North champions a few weeks before the end of the season after coming back from 3-0 down to win 6-3 away to Newcastle last month.

Tonight, they were named Premier Reserve League National champions after beating Aston Villa in the play-off final. After the game finished 0-0, United won 3-1 on penalties, largely thanks to three great stops from our goalie. Joshua King, Jesse Lingard and Will Keane all scored their penalties.

Johnstone; Fornasier (Vermijl 46), M.Keane, Wootton, Fryers; Cole, Thorpe (Brady 50), Tunnicliffe, Petrucci (King 71), Lingard; W.Keane. Subs not used: Coll, Giverin.

Manchester United Reserves are the most successful of all time, matching Aston Villa’s five regional titles, whilst also claiming four national titles, three more than any other club in the country.

Maybe we should put up an offer for SWP, Anton & Barton, let them believe they are good so that they do something worth while against City, lol

  2. Yorke, Cole, Sheri, Solks says:

Check out ‘You raise me up – tribute to Manchester United’s greatest’ on YouTube.

    Come on United!

  3. Sandeep1878 says:

    Yorke, Cole, Sheri, Solks,

yeah mate check the above link..

  4. Sandeep1878 says:

#DidYouKnow: Madagascan team Stade Olympique L’Emryne scored 149 own goals against champions AS Adema in 2002. They repeatedly scored own goals in protest of a refereeing decision in their previous game.

  5. Phil Jones' Birdshit Streaks says:

Let’s hope there’s even more celebrations this Sunday for us Reds!

    Is that real Champaign?!

  8. Redbilly says:

Sandeep- Gallagher us a hateful person regardless of being a city fan. Arrogant rude and small minded. Truly bitter mentality with a chip on his shoulder. Personally I think he suits the new city perfectly. His comments are nothing more than a dig and contain no merit.

Give fergie and mankini the same money for fees wages and the same pool if players and see he comes out on too.

A manager who let’s his players bitch slap him again and again

  9. Brigadier19 says:

Congratulations to the potential world champions. Having that winning mentality ingrained at a young age will do them no harm. Just Triffic.

    Sandeep, how goes it buddy.
Just hope that image of Joey Barton sticking one up Yaya’s Ass doesn’t stay with me for long. Being the beast he his the roles would most probably be reversed.

  10. PeteyRedRed says:

When Fergie retires, Samuel L Jackson should take over. “I dare you to give me shit Mancini, I double-dare you motherfucker, say your better one more motherfucking time!” :)

  11. Sandeep1878 says:

    Red billy,

that’s right pal, he is a hateful cunt.

Hello my friend, i m are you?

Yup, Yaya has been pivotal, last season Cup SF and Final winner, this season consistent performance and double against Magpies,

but come Sunday, i just hope its Barton that sticks one..

    good day mate

  12. Redbilly says:

Blackburn possibly up for sale. Owners don’t give a cluck .

  13. Sandeep1878 says:

wish we had scored 3 or 4 more goals VS Swansea..

It would have put real pressure on city, with QPR needing one point, they will obviously come with a defensive game plan,

    but shit happens..

  14. Redbilly says:

All join the city love in ….. The mighty blue sword has slain the red dragon. Hahahahahaha fucking tabloids. Most of em scousers. Can’t tip us themselves so they rejoice like fuck in a possible title won on GD . Unless we choke … Again .

  15. jeet says:

Exactly, are they old enough to have champagne? :)

  16. Redbilly says:

Sparky up for a million in bonus if he stays up. Come in sparks

  17. Sandeep1878 says:

No one should ever go to a game of football, and not come back home.

Today marks 27 years since the Bradford City football stadium fire tragedy in which 56 people died.

    Rest In Peace.

  18. Redbilly says:

Sandeep- both of them are hateful cunts. Ricky hatton is a different story. Good lad in my books, should have been a red though.

  19. Sandeep1878 says:

They can have the real ones as long as Sir Alex is not around ;)

    True, i hate them both..

    come on Sparky…

  20. Corea says:

    Great one! Well done lads!
Hope finally couple of them make the cut.
    Wellbeck did it.

  21. Brigadier19 says:

Sandeep, I’m buzzing my friend. Just been watching Hughes’s last minute volley against Oldham, the memories that no one can take away from us buddy. Memories. …… City have many man. Haha.

  22. kanchelskis says:

Ah well. At least we get to see one set of reds celebrate as champions this year.

  23. samuel - united WE stand says:

Not that i condone drinking by anyone but each to his own. aren’t all of them 18+?

  24. kanchelskis says:

Smalling out for Euro 2012 :-(

I actually think Chris could’ve done with the game time and the high-pressure experience. Certainly deserved a place in the squad too IMO.

Let’s hope he gets a good pre-season under his belt.

  25. Mikekelly12 says:

Off topic but read somewhere that Tim Howard has scored more goals and has more assists than Stewart Downing this season. Pretty sure it’s inaccurate but not much in it! Funny!

  26. Giles Oakley says:

Sandeep, well remembered on the Bradford Fire. RIP, indeed.

  27. Giles Oakley says:

Congratulations to the Reserves, a fantastic season, hope it bodes well for the future. I’d love to see several of these players get a chance in the first team. Loaning out is OK, but there’s nothing like seeing one of your own kids breaking through.

  28. Albert Ross says:

    Well done United!

  29. 0161-Jon says:

    nice one lads!

  30. Redbilly says:

Kanchelskis- much cause for celebration re reserves. They Are the future

  31. King Eric says:

Well done lads. I rate young Sam Johnstone in nets. Good to see Tunni putting himself about. Was basically on his own in midfield as Petrucci for once didn’t turn up.

You can see the natural progression. Youth Cup winners, now reserves country winners. Keep it up young Reds.

  32. Redbilly says:

King Eric – morning. So yaya states city will be the biggest team in the world? Not sure of his frame of reference. What’s your slant on it :-) .

  33. King Eric says:

So Liam Gallagher is gonna move back up North if City win the title? Stay down there you Ian Brown wannabe prick. Is it between visits to the fucking Emirates? Talentless bastard. God I hate him.

  34. King Eric says:

RedBilly – Hello mate. If they are gonna be that big why does he want a move back to Barca then? City may win trophies but they will NEVER be as big as United, madrid, Milan, Liverpool etc.

  35. Redbilly says:

King Eric- correct . Regardless if what they win, the club will never be as big ad united or the scouse who, though we hate em were successful on their own merit.

Interesting to read rumpled of city playerswanting more cash in line with recent signings and possible signings not signing until thy offer yet more money. Joke club which will always remain so regardless if silverware .

    Gallagher moving back to Manchester.

Is that a bonus on offer to mancunians , him bestowing his presence upon them.

Maybe he only has the bottle to face manc reds once a title us secured. A real die hard fan .

  36. Redbilly says:

    Fucking typos

  37. Redbilly says:

    Blackburn are clucked

  38. Redbilly says:

What time is the reserve game Thursday . Who is going ?.

  39. Albert Ross says:

    Redbilly – good day sir!

There are many more threads now. 5 more, in fact!

  40. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Well done lads. Hope all of them all go on to be world class players…in a United shirt of course ;-)

  41. kenny yoan says:

now what should sir alex do
i think he should let these youngsters get their chance nxt season really.
    one to follow is petrucci
he definitely is a class one.above all one

  42. redevil_83 says:

    congrats to our reserves lions!
