   Perhaps you should ask Lisas permission before cashing in on her design through your t-shirt.

    Only asking, as SEF have had a few issues over use of pics on the SEF site of banners that have been taken by press/getty.

    Publishing someone elses picture is actually against the copyright of the photo owner. As stated, SEF and various other Utd sites have been asked to remove pictures etc, as we dont pay for the copyright on the pic.
    One pic of a banner on the Stretford End was used by http://www.stretfordendflags.com the owner of the photo (One of the main newspapers) wanted £750 for use of the pic.
    The same applies to images with the getty image watermark over them.

Selling something wether its a photo, t-shirt or anything else where the material belongs to someone else is copyright infringement and you need permission from the owner of the material or else you are liable for prosecution. Sorry but its true!

    There is a firm called Netresult, who are employed by Utd and The prem leaue to prevent any videos and pics being shown that arent owned by the clubs etc.
    They are pulling a lot of videos of games/goals from youtube, as its against the law to film inside a stadium.

    Erm come on guys we should be united in supporting United. i have utmost respect for both of you Scott and Tufty, you are leaders among United fans.

    Going through the SEF forum, i can understand Tufty’s feeling. He is SEF, so of course he would get irritated if somebody else uses a product from his from without at least asking his permission. Although the design is Lisa’s but without being in SEF, maybe the banner wouldnt even be made. The main thing is, WE ARE ALL PROUD OF THE BANNER, BECAUSE WE ARE PROUD WITH MANCHESTER UNITED.

    But i agree Tufty could use a much better tone in his comments. No wonder an important forum like that is not as popular as Scott’s blog.
