With Manchester United 1-0 up against Chelsea and just needing to see out the game in injury time, Memphis Depay got in to a good position on the right wing. He had two options, either pass to a teammate, or run the ball to the corner and waste time.
Both Morgan Schneiderlin and Juan Mata were in acres of room, but Memphis failed to find either of them. Chelsea then counter attacked, with Memphis making no effort to track back, despite being full of energy after being brought on just three minutes earlier.
Chelsea went on to score from this attack.
