David Beckham is arguably the most high profile footballer in the world after playing for the biggest clubs in several countries and two continents. Manchester United in England, Real Madrid in Spain, AC Milan in Italy, PSG in France and LA Galaxy in USA.

However, long before he was a household name, Beckham spent a month on loan at Preston North End in the 1994-95 season. He joined them on February 28th and left on March 31st and managed to score two goals in the five games he played for them. One goal was directly from a corner and the other from a freekick.

Beckham was earning £400 a week at Preston and was given a £50 bonus for every appearance he made for them.
