    I was never a hugh Beckham fan but he would probably do better than our wingers NOW lol, Giggs is still the best winger at the club and hes retired and not played much on the wing for years lol, Great pic guys, Pat Evra also dropped by to the hotel, hes on holiday in LA

    Interesting comments from Mikael Silvestre on sky sports he doesn’t think Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are strong enough and wants to see new defensive signings soon.- Got to agree with Mikael, United need experienced heads at the back.

    Nani has been mentioned in La Gazzetta dello Sport as a potential signing for Juventus because of the injury to new signing Morate, hopefully he can be used in bait to sign Vidal.

    United’s odds on signing Jordy Clasie are beginning to drift, with the Dutchman out from 5/4 to 6/4. – Went quiet on this lad before the world cup, he was getting mentioned a lot but he was barely used in Brazil. – Klopp has laughed off a £17million bid for Huimmels apprently, like £17mil was gonna be enough when Luiz went for £50mill, apprently we will turn our attentions to Vermaelen, de Virj and Blind at the back and Di maria and Stootman when he returns from injury.

    The sun reckons Inter Milan are in for hernandez, been lots of rumours about that in recent weeks, wouldnt be shocked if he goes although LVG said he wants to look at him, maybe a change of manager will bring more games for the lad.

    I do think people are really harsh on jones. I really like the kid. I think playing in different position has not helped him like it’s not helping smalling. Jones is not a rb. And yet half the time he plays there, so how could he improve. He is young and he should play as a central defender

    I agree mate, but the thing is you really see top class young CBs, they mature at a much older age than other positions, we need experienced heads at the back

    What i like about Van Gaal Is that he exudes confidence. He has an aura about him.

    @Tommy – I thought Clasie did well when he played at the WC and looked good although he didn’t have much playing time. Similar to Herrera I would have thought though.

  6. Mark Reid says:

    Vidal would be a good catch and Hummels a great catch not sure if either will happen I get the feeling we will land a lesser center back and maybe no midfielder.I was interested to read how LVG was praising Rooney and knocking Fletch and (forget the other)bout not watching the ball in training(dunno how true that is).Also how he’s not too happy with the crammed schedule for pre season.Although Woodward loves it cha Ching is what he hears.LVG won’t be kissing executive arse not if it gets in the way of football performance .

    @Gra mar

    Difference between herrera and Classe is herrera has Iniesta, xavi, fabregas, Martinez, koke etc battling for as spot, Classe has de Jong and Guzman lol

  8. Justin10RvN says:

    Clasie is a solid player, retains possession and can pick a pass, he’s pretty small but he’s feisty. He’s been Feyenoord’s anchor midfielder and their attacking midfielder at times over the past few seasons and he’s had the captaincy so he has some leadership qualities in him as well. He would be a good buy, but not a game changer, he’d be a replacement for Carrick basically.
