  1. Tufty says:

Nevilles been winding up Owen all day at training, offering to take him to the museum to have his pic taken with the premier League trophy and asking the younger lads to bring his medals in to show Owen!

  2. Drabik says:

Nobody has mentioned that Owen is wearing the number 15 shirt in those pics. His new number maybe?

  3. Trevor says:

think its just a training top

  4. Drabik says:

O yea, unless giggs is changing to 58? Possible?

  5. urval87 says:

Valencia is coming to training a few days late bcoz he had broken his vacation to come and finalise the transfer. And these are just training numbers. Till last season CR7 wore 10 in training. And Owen daring to take Vida’s shirt???

He doesn’t want to get MURDERED

  6. Welsh_United says:

Thank god Giggs has no 58 on.

Otherwise the press would take Owen with no 15 on as a sign that Vidic is gonna be sold.

  7. chenkothedevil says:

    Trevor
    I’ld definately forgive him.

  8. 11reds says:

Whoever commented that Premier’ship’ at Liverpool Joke got me to start a “caption this!” on 11Reds. http://11reds.com/just-for-fun/caption-please/ Please add your comments in the weirdest United Pic and a pic with anomaly about 18 Titles!

  9. chenkothedevil says:

infact let them say what they want to. Vidic has said it all .Owen wearing 15 doesn’t mean anything is just training. Giggs is 58 and Carrick is either 37 or 87.

  10. King Eric says:

United4Eva – Don’t get me started on last nights phone in on MUTV! Did you hear that prick from Kent or somewhere saying “the purchases so far smack of desperation”. Fuck off and support Rentboys or Spurs then pal. Macari tried to put him right but even he annoyed me last night. “It is a big gamble”. Why it was free . We NEVER go and buy star players so why would Sir Alex start now? As for swapping Berba with Aguero. Get fucked no chance. Berba has a lot more class than the bloated coke heads son in law. No more fucking Argies!

Aside from the dippers and up until Barca our midfield was excellent last season.

  11. King Eric says:

Went off on a tangent then. Great to see Owen settled in with the lads! I cannot wait for pre season to start.

  12. Mic says:

What’s he doing on the training pitch? I thought Owen was a doctor or something, I never saw him on the pitch at Newcastle and they talked about him always spending time in the treatment room, this is news for me!!

In all seriousness, it’s good to see him train and there doesn’t seem to be a hobble in that picture, it’s nice to see him rub shoulders with Vidics shinpads.

  13. United4eva says:

    @GHTT and King Eric

I tell you I dont know why some of these ‘fans’ waste their money calling in to say how rubbish Man Utd are. Its completely baffling. I subscribe to MUTV to hear good stuff about the club then you get people, supposedly on our own side, saying Fergie’s lost it.

People really have short memories…but hey this happens every season doesnt it? I remember people saying Dwight Yorke was an overpriced Villa player, that Roy Keane would never replace Paul Ince, that people at Old Trafford would never sing oooh aaah Cantona!

The list goes on and on. Fergie is a specialist in proving people wrong and thats why in 2009/10 United will not only be better but MUCH better than last year.

huntelaar to stuttgart (pending his approval)

  16. RedHarry4Life says:

Someone mentioned that we need a CM cause Fletcher, Anderson, Scholes and Carrick aren’t quite good enough. Just like to point out we won the EPL, The LC, The WCC, should have been in the FA cup final apart from a shite bottle out by Mike”Man United Fan” Reilly, and got to the CL final. Not bad for a shit midfield.

Saying that I have come to the conclusion that Carrick is shite against Xavi and Inesta. He was poor against them for England and In teh CL final.

  17. BlackbeltMage says:

    Berbatov > Aguero

Aguero’s a kid with potential. Granted, great potential, and I’d love to see him in red, but not at the cost of the footballing genius of Berbatov.

He reads the game well, not to the level of Scholes or Iniesta, but well enough to make some spectcular moves.

We should sign Yaya Toure. Failing that, De Rossi. I know someone mentioned those same two names. The former would strengthen the midfield defensively, but the latter would be the better buy – except, last I checked, he played for our good friends Roma.

Mm, 10th of April, 2007. Good times.

Horrible home kit though. Ugliest colour of red I’ve ever seen – provided you don’t look in the direction of Merseyside.

  18. SteRDLK says:

I think Owen will prove all his critics wrong

I would have loved Aguero at United, but then we signed Owen. He will score more than Carlos did last season, and Berba will score more as well now that Ronaldo and Carlos have gone, and Valencia crosses more than Ronnie.

Why do people think we need a new CM and a new striker, new goalie etc

We have Edwin VDS and Foster, we have Fletcher, Carrick, Hargreaves, Anderson, Giggs, Scholes and Gibson. We have Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, Welbeck and Macheda. We already have enough as it is, we dont need even more.

  19. Mark says:

Owen still hasn’t wiped the grin off his face.

  20. wdkf says:

great to see to see those pictures. all dandy.

  21. vishnu1729 says:

united on pursuit for aguero…mirror news…..30m+nani
    or 20m+berba……wht do u thnk…..
i wil go for 30 m+ nani…bcoz they are both same age and we got oberton

  22. Bob Koh says:

To me Owen’s signing is also about the FSW who ejects him and ManU & SAF who signed him. It is going to get explosive when ManU visits Anfield.
For this season, my only wish is the title again (19th!) and the double over the scu..err..scousers of the Red variety. When the camera pans in on Benitez’s sickening look as Owen scores, I’ll save the pic as my Desktop.

  23. ancha says:

    @Bob Koh..

please dont use ManU…again…when you are refering to club..
    its “ManUtd”

  24. ancha says:

nice to see the lads back in training….
    @Tufty
    that was funny!!

  25. AIG Alex is GOD says:

    Goodmorning everyone.

i think owen will settle very well bcoz there are plenty of england players in our team.he has plenty of pals like carrick, rio, wazza, brown, hargo so he has friends who will make him feel comfortable

  26. phaka says:

i just think we will win tha league, as for ronaldo i think he made a mistake should have left in two seasons cos barca is gonna win everything again and he will miss the attention that the epl gets around the world ad of course playing for united.

  27. PJW says:

We need a defensive mid.. Who knows how good Hargreaves will be when he returns in January. I think a cheeky 50 million bid for Essien. He plays right back too.

  28. AIG Alex is GOD says:

any one heard that micah richards got swine flu.

  29. TonyBee says:

Back on the pictures….. Of course Owen is smiling…. he has just got all his Xmas presents for the next ten years at once…. he could have been either at Stoke or Hull…instead Santa SAF rescued him from almost oblivion. Fucking hell, he had better stsart banging a few into the net or the fans will soon turn….. me, I would rather see Nani play… and I hate Nani… !!
Maybe he will make me eat my words, but will only respect him if he gets a red card against the dippers for kicking lumps outta Stevie-me to prove he is our man and not a tosser ex-dipper playing in the last chance saloon

  30. Ericutd says:

We must trust in fergie, the lack of transfer business is usually a good thing in saf case, i’d take the squad we have now , hope Wellbeck gets games he has the ability to be a utd legend for me
