Couldn’t agree more curtis, we need to approach this game in the right way and be more concerned with ourselves rather than thinking that a win is in the bag just cuz they are in poor form. Besides Rooney seems to be a doubt for sunday wich kinda worries me.

Its always great to see pics of the huys training, they look happy. Berbs & SAF remind me of the Smurf cartoons I used to watch as a kid Papa Smurf and Lazy Smurf – just kidding ! – I meant, Burn’sy Smurf (from Simpson).

I expect we should beat Liverpool but one goal could decide it and they will have players back and be playing for pride, we need our finishing boots as their defence looks a bit slow, but also remember Torres pasted Vidic and Ferdinand is not himself, plus if they have Johnson and Torres, O’Shea would be too slow and we have been conceding a few headers when Evra gets outjumped. But if the team plays well and Berbs and Owen get some chances (think Rooney is out?) they need to take them. I think Valencia’s pace will rattle pool defence and he may have a few scoring opportunities.

Also note Lyon are actually a good team, I would say they would be 4 or 5 if they were in the PL.

Why are the most useless and old players, Gary N,Scholes and John Oshea still in the team Fergi ? The one thing is for sure, buddy. The game on Sunday will be something special and something we haven’t seen for a long time. Teams wll play till the last minute and i think some red cards is a strong possibility.
The best thing i can make out of this is that we are top and it won’t be the end of the world if we fail. But it will be wonderful if we bury them. It will be a bonus for us as for them it’s a must win game.

i settled for owen score the winning goal and dance around anfield with neville…that will be classic

If we get a draw and get home with un-injured players then i’ll be well happy!
