Sir Alex Ferguson has today confirmed that, as had been reported, Paul Pogba has agreed to join Juventus.
“Pogba? He signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we’re aware,” he said. “I don’t think he showed us very much respect at all. To be honest, if they carry on that way, I’m quite happy that he’s away from me anyway.”
The manager also confirmed he has yet to hear back from Zeki Fryers or his agent over our latest contract offer.
“As for Ezekiel Fryers, I don’t know what’s happening there,” Ferguson added. “He hasn’t been in touch with the club and the agent hasn’t been in touch with club. I can only assume he’ll be back in training today.”

Man Utd News 24/7

LEGEND….
….Of hearing racist abuse on a weekly basis in Serie A
I don’t see the appeal of Juventus, I’m sorry. Match fixing, racist taunts, empty stadiums.
I’d rank it as a the 4th best league in Europe. (Arguably lower)
Fuck off you classless, disprespectful, egotistical Pogbastard and take your leeching scumbag agent with you.
I’m sure Pirlo is shaking at the thought of losing his place.
Good fucking riddance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlIB1RUs_pU&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Fuck him.
Listen and watch this- makes it alllll better.
i just flushed my toilet in his honour, ciao nobhead
The reply by the Gaffer shows how much the lad and his agent have pissed him off. Anyways, all the best to the lad. No hard feelings from my side. He would have been great at UTD but his agent didn’t think so.
what is happening with are youth these days…….id say little respect these little shits have……for starters were the fuck does fryers think he can go that will b better than were he is???and as for pogba.ok i said we should have gave him an extension long ago but i always trust the boss and listening to him just tells u way a wee count he is…good luck a juve ballroot.
so fergies working on 1 or 2 things…wonder who they are!!!!still would love modric or sneidjer….not sure about moutinho as we have kagawa now, but i would say listening to him speak the names he has in his head are probably big names as well the deal isn’t done yet and he said himself bout getting deals wrapped early….
who knows…all i no is HURRY UP AND GET THE FUCKIN SEASON STARTED IM GOIN COLD TURKEY HERE!!!!!
Of course he did. When you leave contract negotiations until the final year of a player’s contract, you run the risk of that player signing for another club when the last 6 months begin. Respect? Like the respect he and our club showed Le Havre?
Anyway, what’s done is done. HOpefully there will be an 180 in the Fryers situation and he will stay. We’ve lost too much youth already in 2012.
What a silly wanker! His agent is at fault, pogba said 6 months ago he dreans of playing for united. Hope his agent spends his nice bonus on something that will contribute to an early death, jus sayin. I cant help but hope he has an injury ridden career in a shit league and never comes within even 20% of his potential. Why we let a little cunt like him come on for the legend that is paul scholes at his testimonial is beyond me.
Im asking myself why i contributed a few seconds of my time to type his name out the ungrateful little sphincter
By Paul, dis the man he did. Berba love from SAF he imo is the worlds best 4th choice and tickled to have him, not what goes with him on RoM. As Joe Friday said mam just the facts please.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/dimitar-berbatov-fairly-treated-at-manchester-1130943
It is sad to see our youngsters leaving the club without even putting in an effort to get into the first team. In my opinion, 19-20 year old lads should not have agents. The club should take care of the youngsters loan and transfer deals. When you are 19 or 20, it is so easy for someone to mess your head up by saying you are bigger/better than him/her. Similarly, Pogba’s agent would have told him that he is way too good for Man Utd or something like that. Hopefully, Fryers does not make the same mistake but I have a feeling that he too is on his way out given the Baines rumors.
if pogba wants to leave its up to him its his career i dont know why you lot are hating on him i mean with all the players coming in he didnt have much chance of gettin in to the first team so leave him be he got shit to do
Fuck off Pogba you primadonna cunt. Probably go the same way as Morrison, down the shitter. Hence I think the reason Powell was bought. Someoen who actually wants to play for United.
Glad Fergie is around. I was beginning to think he had died. Haven’t seen sight now sound of him in weeks, even on holiday. Just soundbites!! He is back!
All those saying Youth are leaving. Fuck em. Lads like keane brothers, Tunni, Blackett etc are the way forward.
If I were these youngsters I will do d same. Wen re they gonna ve a chance. Scholes and giggs just signed be reasonable. They ve never been given chance and probably don’t expect it next season and they re supposed to be playin. Maybe they ll get chances elsewhr. If I wr in thr shoes I ll move on. Pls don’t give me u have to prove any worth
If they don’t want to play for Utd with all their heart then they aren’t wanted. Better he go than sign just for the money.
Another excuse that was used last year for not buying a top class midfielder disappears – a coincidence that fletcher story appears on same day?
@King Eric ar 19:28
You mean fuck the youth that’s leaving or fuck us?
Anyway, the way I look at it, the Keanes, Larnell Cole or Tunni could be the next Fryers. Keeping them around won’t be as easy as it used to be.
Pogba is stupid and probably made the biggest mistake of his career, but most of the blame and the “fuck offs” should be directed at his fat, big nosed, greasy, disgusting agent Raiola. He really is scum, and leeches like him should be gassed.
Fucken AAAA youth the Academy rules!!!!!
Looks as if SAF is mighty pissed with Pogba and his agent!!
Pogba & Morrison were the two names that were talked about a lot and now both are gone. Now we hear about the Keane brothers & Tunni. What chances they ll even be in the senior team. Think its time Sir Alex gives them a proper chance to claim a spot.
These twenty minute appearances in one off matches when the game is won is not where the youngsters will prove their worth. Not saying that they should be in the starting eleven. Games where things aren’t going the way as planned like Newcastle away last season, bring them on and ask them to prove their worth.
And talking about mid fielders, any news on Anderson? Think this might be his last season at the club.
His loss……….
There is an old saying, if your good enough, your old enough. Our club policy has been to send the youth out on loan for their development. If they impress, then they are given their chance next season. Beckham, cleverley, evans, welbeck and many more have done this and succeded.
If progba is all that and the new world class midfielder from france, why has he not broken into the first time already? Fergie has proven he is not shy at giving youth their oppotunity.
I can only point to one reason, attitude. It is the same with morrison. I dont care how gifted a person you are, whether it be football or in any other walk of life. What makes you good is talent, what makes you world class is attitude and application….
I watched the spanish players after their final….. class attitude all of them….
Robson, beckham, nobby stiles, red nev etc were not blessed with worldclass football skills like maradona etc, but that all had two major quailities as people……….. HARD WORK and Passion…….
Now dont let the door smash you in the head on the way out PROGBA!!!!!!
Youth players have always left United, but it gets more headlines now, since the Glazer’s bought the club. Maybe a connection there….
Pique and Rossi apart, has anyone hit the heights? Some have done good things. Most have made a limited impact at other clubs.
@willie
True that. Not everyone will be a hit. But Pogba isn’t exactly a David Jones or Ritchie Jones type of Academy midfielder. He could have made an impact here looking at our other options. Plus, it wasn’t me that said 10 months ago that we couldn’t afford to lose him. That was Fergie..
Pogba’s loss!!
Maybe one day he’ll look back à la Gazza and think Fuck – I fucked up big style!!
He could have had it all!!
how much have barce had to pay to “BUY BACK” thier lost youth? Jorda Alba, Cesc, etc…….. I love phil Bardsley, but I dont think he would improveour squad,,,,,,
Trust In United
You could probably suggest that he paid the same respects to Utd as he did to Le Havre. And that his agent and Juve paid the same respects Utd did when we pinched him.
We dont want young players who dont want to play for the club, but lets not forget he is a top talent, and he will be a loss.
Still, Utd move on, bigger and better players have left and we have continued being successful.
Costas – Fergie says lots of things mate. I wanted the lad to stay, but never rated him as some others did. We can only gage his loss in 4/5 years time. There’s no way he’ll break into that Juventus midfield this season. They’ll probably send him out on loan.
Good riddance!!!!!!!!
Why are we even upset, after all we should all know by now that a Leopard never changes its spots so he has just done to us, what he did to Le Harve.
He’ll probably go out on loan just like it would have happened if he remained at Utd and with his sort of attitude, he might not make it very far and eventually end in a Turkish club after several controversies. Then he’ll fade away just like he appeared on the scene.
It’s crazy news cause I really saw something at this kid.
When you look at Thiago from Barcelona, he doesn’t complain for not playing much, and still respect the club, cause he knows and I believe he is told that he is one for the future.
Jack Wilshere went on loan, and look at him now, same with Clevs and Danny,
Then you have these egomanics who don’t appreciate what they have. Of course you should give youth a chance and I think Fergie made a mistake for not playing much, but then , Pogba and his agent ran soon as the first opportunity came and that is not cool.
@willie
That’s the thing though. I don’t feel like judging him based on how his Juve career unfolds. I am wondering how much he could have helped solve our midfield problems. For example, Ince didn’t make a huge impact in Italy, but that doesn’t change he was a brilliant United player. In order for the team to make up for the loss, someone else (whether it’s Tunni or a signing) has to be added to our midfield options.
“doesn’t change the fact that he was a brilliant United player”
Costas – That’s all we have now. Ifs and maybes! As I said though, I was never fully convinced by him. Tunnicliffe is the big hope. We really do need someone like him to make it at United. And if he does, we’ll not be left wondering about Pogba….
Is it really a loss if he wasn’t playing anyway?
It seems to me that Pogba just didn’t want to pay his dues. Two seasons ago he was in the youth team. Last season he naturally moved up to the reserves and was probably promised some first team games as well.
However, he has spent the last six months or so flirting with Juventus which obviously annoyed the manager and, in my opinion, basically shit on every other reserve player that has been happy to wait their turn or go on loan etc. Maybe you can blame the agent or even Morrison for setting a bad example, but Pogba has his own mind and if he’s not smart or mature enough to use it then that’s his problem.
The only reason the manager is getting criticised is because he praised Pogba. If he hadn’t, nobody would care that this kid had gone. He might have footballing talent but if he doesn’t have the right attitude then he’s better off out and I’ll trust Sir Alex on that every time.
@Costas
Hello Mate, probably the most sensible comment on here.
If he felt his future was elsewhere then fair enough and best of luck.
I suppose many people feel let down that he didn’t sign another contract with United after the time and effort put in to him in the academy but I guess that is life. I reckon he will mature in to a really good player.
It’s strange how United have lost 2 of the best midfield prospects from the youth set up in Morrison and Pogba which is perhaps why SAF has held off investing in midfielders for the last few years. But he has seen it hasn’t paid off and has invested in Kagawa and Powell. Don’t really understand these kids these days as they are at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
I really hope Cleverly pushes on this season and fulfills his potential. I have a feeling United won’t be playing 4-4-2 this season. I reckon they will be going for more of a formation like we have in 2008. Those were good days…!
So be it. Attitude is important so he had to go anyway (even if he had already signed without the Club’s knowledge). Pity though.
Tell u what u French twat u fucked up big time saw u against Leeds your no new vieria I hope juve
Get demoted for match fixing nick powll is twice the player u I hope u get your legs broke French fuckin bastard
Hope this one doesn’t come back to haunt us,I was really looking forward to this kid being given a proper run-out,but I suppose when you allow a contract negotiation to linger, and you see the likes of Scholes being taken out of retirement ahead of you, then I really can’t blame the lad,I just have a sneaking suspicion that we’re going to be keeping the hands in the pockets this summer as well, the American cunts better come good.
RE: Pogba. Wonder if United will ever invite Juventus for another testimonial? Just Sayin’
Anyway, that’s Mino Raiola off my X-list.
***** X-mas list *****
Thanx fuck its OVER!!
Didn’t you poach him from Le Havre?
Cult of the modern player. He’s done nothing and may never do anything but he’s already made a few million.
Am I alone in unable to decide how I feel about Pogba leaving?
Did Utd make a mess of negotiations?
Did Gill take his eye off the ball or was Fergie too stubborn to budge in his valuation of him?
Is he just not that good, or does he have a bad attitude?
Is his agent to blame or did he move of his own accord?
Are we gone cheap or should I, as I always do in these circumstances, trust Fergie to judge it right?
If Pogba is off, I hope to fuck Park and Ando go with him. I never wanted a player to make it more at Utd than Anderson but his inability to remain fit and focused is frustrating.
@Pebblesmeller
Please be nice about Park man. Have some respect.
Pebblesmelly
Costas talking sense…
But seriously, all he did was trade a bench in manchester for one in turin. Oh well.
Roll on everton.
I am glad this thing is over. He may become a great player but I don’t want player with this kind of attitude. Everyone is blaming his agent (Who is a cunt by the way) but you have to understand pogba is not a small kid who cannot make his own decisions. If he had wanted to stay he would have.
King Eric rightly said that Powell was bought for this reason only. And honestly speaking powell looks much better prospect with good attitude. But I Seriously hope we sign fryers for a long term. Can’t afford to keep on losing such talented kids.
If he did sign for Juve a long time ago i wonder why Fergie kept including him in squads?
Seems a bit strange to me.
Pirlo, Vidal, Marchissio, Asamoah, Melo, Krasic and Isla…..Just some of the midielders currently at Juve. All likely to be ahead of Pogba.
Either this kid is thick as pig s**t and knows nothing about the Juve squad or he is in it for the money.
As some of you mention already, add to the strenght in depth they already have, the match fixing scandals (repeated match fixing scandals!), the chronic racism in Italian football and falling fan turn out, there is nothing about this move that makes sense…except of course from his agents view point.
Dick!
I was wondering, If he is as good as advertised (the next Viera!) then why didn’t clubs bigger than Juventus try to sign him.?
Anyways. We shouldn’t be bitter. He has done nothing illegal. He had a contract with us which he fulfilled without any fuss. He has said nothing bad for the club. Fair play to the lad if he wanted to go elsewhere. People who are wishing him to get injured or have a bad career are classless. We are better than that. I wish him good luck for the future.
Pity as we never got to know if he could reach the potential he has – young and money talks, chuck in a greasing agent (greasy agent) and bob’s your uncle.
SAF was right not to give in to wage demands but could we not have agreed a deal with a clause for three years down the line to pay more if he did progress?
Anyway he is not at United now so I won’t waste anymore time on him.
Fryers next ????
Good riddance boy. In 2 years time you’ll be crying like a baby to come back.
United we stand divided we fall and that is exactly what you did boy. You have just fallen the ladder!
