Rafael: The fans were crazy good

Ahead of United’s Champions League against Olympiacos, Rafael da Silva has reflected on last season’s game against Real Madrid. After Nani’s ridiculous red card the crowd came alive and Rafael is hoping for a repeat atmosphere this evening.

“First of all, I will never forget that game,” Nani said. “When Nani was sent off, the supporters were crazy good and I had never seen anything like that before. It was the best atmosphere I have ever played in. It showed exactly what they can do. They can push you on and help the team going forward. I expect them to do it again and their noise could intimidate Olympiacos. I remember Jose Mourinho going back to the bench when they sang: ‘Sit down, Mourinho’. So if Mourinho was intimidated by our fans, imagine how the Olympiacos players might react!”

Well, if confidence was low before seeing THAT starting 11, it’s on the floor now.

Giggs and Carrick in the middle? WTF!

Valencia out wide. Pleeeeease say it ain’t so?

The undropable can do no fucking wrong as he snarls all the way to the bank with his swag bag Rooney…

And RVP. The player who looks like he’d rather be anywhere else but here.

Why oh why is there no Kagawa again?

    Fearing the worst…..

I really can’t see how our approach (and performance) will differ from the first leg when we are basically playing the same shit again. You fail spectacularly with you approach, what do you do? Exactly the same again. Go figure.

  6. Fletch™ says:

Besides Moyes, anyone else convinced Rio and Jones can make it through a full match?

Shocking bench, not a single defender!

  7. midfield-man says:

guys, we are going to win this.. that’s the funny part.
