Rangers Want Fabio? They Having A Laugh?

Reports in The Daily Record this morning claim to Rangers are interested in securing a loan deal for Fabio da Silva. Their chief scout, Ewan Chester, watched Fabio in the Reserve victory over Middlesbrough this week and was apparently keen to get a deal sorted.

Whilst Patrice Evra is the clear favourite for the position at the moment, Fabio is working wonders in the Reserve team and should certainly be given the nod ahead of John O’Shea should Evra be unavailable.

I totally agree with the usual practice of the club to loan out our young players to help them gain experience, but given the way Rafael slotted in to the team without experience away from the club, I see no reason why Fabio, who by all accounts is the better of the two, would have any difficulty.

Load of cobblers……on another note, is Tosic having much luck in the reserves? Not heard a great deal about him for a while.

We also have Reece Brown brother of Wes in the academy and Corrie Evans brother of Jonny in the reserves.

It was reported last week they wanted to take Possebon and Macheda on loan as well.

Corey Evans is gonig to be a great player, he is a midfielder really but looks at home in the centre of defence.

Even though he was signed in the summer it still takes a while for a player to settle when hopping continents. Especially an 18 brazilian kid. Yeah they’re probably awesome players, but they have to get used to _Premiership_ _Games_. Rafael was just a freak that played the style that we do. Once his bro learns the same he’ll be featured. I, for one, think the loan would be a good deal.

Rangers can have John Oshea, Gary N and Scholes for that matter.MU will be well off without them.

    Fuck off you plastic

You are probably just some anti-utd fan in disguise spouting rubbish

Gary Neville and Paul Scholes are legends who despite their advancing years have a great role to play for our team.

Slagging O Shea…I wont even touch on that…only the fake fans do that.

At home, against inferior opposition, like Pompey, hows about playing Fabio at Left Mid with Evra behind him? Anyone? Surely Fabio can add more offensively than Park.

I know he works hard and I understand and respect the role he plays for this side, but I’m still f’ing furious with Park for missing that tap in from six yards out…

We all hope Fabio will be good, that might be putting undue pressure on the young lad. My opinion, any loan deal, with a call-back clause would be wonderful. Especially so if he is going to the SPL, less spotlight on him. Also a physical league there, thou not anywhere near what we get in England, but can help him build up his built

We don’t want another Lee Martin so hopefully we pass on this one.
