Marcus Rashford was booed from the first minute in Manchester United’s 4-0 win over Swansea, much to the confusion of our fans. How could anyone not like Rashford?!

Well, Rashford was guilty of a dive in our 1-1 draw against Swansea last season. We might have forgotten it but the Swansea fans clearly hadn’t.

Rashford clearly looked bothered by the fans’ reaction throughout the game before being replaced for the final 15 minutes. He even missed a one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

Jose Mourinho has claimed that Rashford has got to learn to enjoy a negative reaction from the fans and use it to motivate him in the future.

I think he has to learn how to enjoy it. If he was a bad player, nobody would try to provoke him. They see the speed, they see the danger, probably they think they can affect him.

Honestly, I think if he was on the bench and if he comes [on] for the last 15 or 20 minutes when the space is there, I think he would do the same as the other guys did. So, I think he just has to adapt to it.
