I am almost certain his price will be the same price or higher. United seem out to make a statement about contracts and they may just not listen to any offers. I hope they do accept a high fee and use it to build a team around Rooney who I think has showed he has all the quality to continue to bring United success. I don’t feel confident he will sign a new deal and I don’t feel confident that he wants to stay, and I won’t be to upset if it in does happen. He is not the type of person I want to be at United if we can deal with out him and if Rooney continues this form for the rest of the season I don’t think it hurts us to let him go for a substantial (at least 60 million) fee.

We all know he is only at OT this season because Fergie won’t sell him, so his heart is no longer at the club. I am sure he is professional and will play to the best of his ability, but for me Rio, Rooney and Carlos want to be at the club, Ronaldo wants to be in Spain.
