I agree with corea Bolton is safe not mathematicly, but still. Reading and Fulham are the only teams that can catch Bolton, in which case Birmingham will be relegated , so only 1 of Bolton, Fulham and reading can be relegated. reading goal difference is -29 and Boltons -18. There is no way that they can surpass 11 goal difference in one round. In short unless Bolton looses 10:0 they are safe.

On Bolton. Scott, don't forget Reading whi are some 11 goals away from the Boltons goal difference. They don't have much to play for against Chelsea.
Lets hope Newcastle win on monday,

I was saying for months at the start of the year, that Wigan will take points off of Arsenal. I remember seeing a game on MOTD and thinking 'that is the worst fucking pitch ever...' This was just after United thumped Arsene Wengers side 4-0 and his only argument was a weakend side and Old Traffords 'terrible' pitch.

OT was not great t all, but Wigan would definately have something to say at that point of the season.

I would hope that Newcastle and Kevin Keegen could mastermind a win over Chelsea. I still was very grateful that Wigan won against Villa and hopefully seeing that they are now safe, they'll play a game under Steve Bruce that doesn't frustrate United too much.

Huge result for Wigan today. It's not going to be easy given the pressure - but we can pull it off.
