   marcotti made a good point on the podcast ronaldo maybe moody at the moment because he is not fully accepted as the greatest talent in the world. if I was cristiano ronaldo and I heard that some people think a football player who plays in the Egyptian league deserves the award ahead of him, or his main rivals in kaka who hardly done anything all year playing averagely and messi who was flash in the pan but no end product and spend more time on the treatment table then the football pitch, then I would be upset.

   If I had achieved what ronaldo done last year but not given the credit and considering given the award to players who done half what I had done or play in pub leagues what did anyone expect, ronaldo may never have a better year, the 07/08 season is ronaldo’s year just as the 05/06 season was ronaldinho’s year and to give it to a player playing in a average league or players who done very little then it will be a tragedy.

   I knew he would win it but it is still pethetic from people who cannot recognise the contribution ronaldo as given for the past two years, he is twice the player messi is and twice the player ronaldinho ever was and don’t forget where was henry ronaldnho and zidane when they were 23 they were at small clubs.

   got to remember fleet street were gutted when henry didn’t win it. Micheal it’s the same old, united lads aren’t gonna get the praise cos we’re up north. The only reason the dippers get praised in papers is because the editors are scarred of getting boycotted like the sun. If ronaldo was in london he would be celebrated by every paper and every fan.
