Marouane Fellaini was banned for three matches after retrospective action saw that he elbowed Robert Huth in our 1-1 draw against Leicester.

This ban meant he would miss the final three games of the Premier League season and be able to return for the FA Cup final, as he no doubt would given Louis van Gaal’s overuse of Fellaini.

However, following the abandonment of United’s game against Bournemouth today, there’s the chance that Fellaini will miss the final, if the game isn’t played this week. There have been some reports that the game has provisionally be rescheduled for Tuesday at 8pm, although there’s been no confirmation of this from the club or the Premier League.

If the Bournemouth game is played after the cup final, then Fellaini’s third match would be the Crystal Palace game, and he won’t play at Wembley.
