Richards: This Is For Rooney Revenge

Micah Richards has claimed Manchester City will be looking for revenge after Wayne Rooney’s brilliant overhead kick sealed a 2-1 win for United at Old Trafford this season, as the sides prepare to face each other at Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final.

“We’re looking to gain revenge for Wayne Rooney’s overhead kick,” said Richards. “It’s going to be a great game and we’ll all be looking forward to it.”

They also need revenge for the injury-time winner he scored against them last season to beat them in the League Cup semi-final. As well as the opening goal in 4-3 victory that season. And what about the winning goal he scored at Wastelands the season before? Or the first goal in our 3-1 win in the home game?

Let’s get it straight, Rooney has scored 6 goals in his 7 seasons at United against City.

I watched it the ref was a bit of an arse but the stinkpool boys were tryin to emulate the 1st team as the kop was full..wen they went 2 nil up the goal scorer ran to the united fans with the 5 finger sign so it was great to see revel Morrison equalise and celebrate infront of the kop kissing his badge..can’t wait til the replay

It’s all over the news and it must be true as their is a statement given by club personel as well, it’s sad that there will always be some useless cunts that defame the rest of us with such acts

18th and my life’s complete. First posts are for Freaks

They struggled against Reading, who had major injuries to their defence, and know they reckon they’ll easily beat us. Looking like they are taking another fall.

  19. jeet says:

I knew Costas was to blame! He’s the Jonny Evans of RoM! On more serious themes, cant believe I just got to live through one more day before I see United again. What;s the latest injury news? I wish Ando and Park are fit for this one, they would be crucial.
    VDS
    JOS Smalling Vida Evra
    Carrick Anderson
    Rafael Rooney Park
    Chicha

Which leads me to the other interesting observation, that irrespective of what formation we play on paper – 4-4-2 or 4-5-1, what SAF really seems to play is 4-2-3-1 and that’s when we are most effective. Anybody agrees?

  20. ancha says:

    @briggsy

I don’t think it will be easy, they will be up for it as it is their cup final, with all those money they have got they bought some really flaring egos and attitude players who are never going to win anything as a team but they always will be a threat with the individual talent

  21. petemanc says:

What the fuck is with this 1st bollocks?!

Anyway PLEASE, PLEASE let that bell end Summerbee be in the studio aswell! Sky+ on the ready boys!!!!

  22. ancha says:

    jeet

I second that and I’m one of those who were suggesting for a 4-3-2-1 from a long time, with rooney playing in the hole, and chico/berba upfront, nani/valencia/park/giggsy/fabio on the wings, I would prefer Rafael as wing back where as in case of fabio I would like to see him more as winger/ mid (as he played there for some of the reserves games), carrick/fletch/anderson/gibson/scholes as the two holding mids, next season with clev and welbeck back from loan spells they can be back up to our wingers/fwds
in case rooney is injured, you can always play berba/giggsy in that role

  23. ancha says:

srry its * 4-2-3-1 in my prev post

  24. mattbw7 says:

Well its time to stand up and be counted again but what Mancini said about them getting closer is so true, this the 2nd semi final two seasons plus they are currentley in the top four and unless we have some investment we will get left behind.

That said I’m pretty confident of us getting past them again, the pressure is all on them and the build will be intense.

  25. Little Red Ant says:

Let them mouth off, gobby twats, even “Mancheenee” is spouting shit again in the papers. We will keep our council let them get even more would up and bitter than they are – and roll on the second after the final whistle :o )

Already talking … Unlike them, United is still involved in other competitions that we dont have time to focus on them until the week leading up to playing them. Another difference between the club versus the team.

United is the only club in Manchester; which makes City the only team.

    @mattbw7
Hello Mate. Agree with what you were saying earlier about Citeh getting closer. The more money they spend the closer they will get to winning something. Are United going to be able to keep standing in their way?
With Citeh looking like they are gonna finish in the top 4 they will be able to attract better players because they will be in the Champions League. But our saving grace in financial terms might be the UEFA financial fair play rules meaning they can’t just go out there and buy anyone and everyone.
Anyhow United have alot going for them. We’ve had to fight off challenges from Chelsea when they were spending money all the while, we have the experience of this time of the season where we have been top of the league, in cup competitions, and Europe. Also more importantly we have SAF who has built team after team after team and fought off all challenges to our Premiership Title.

  45. KingOfStretfordEnd says:

Great to know that Park and Nani are back in training. Didn’t expect Nani to come back so soon, that’s brilliant. As for Hargo, I can only keep my fingers crossed.

  46. Raizzen says:

    MyCowIsTheBest

I was shocked upon reading that too. Maybe they were some Scouse cunts disguised as our fans ?

On the topic though, fuck you Micah you were lucky to get throug to the semi so don’t start talking about revenge yet coz by the looks of it you’d be in for more revenge(s) to come.

  47. Costas says:

    According to manutd.com:

“Here’s the 20-man squad that trained together at Carrington this morning. Owen Hargreaves and Ji-sung Park were also out on the pitch, working away from the main group. Goalkeepers: Tomasz Kuszczak, Edwin van der Sar; Defenders: Brown, Fabio, Evra, O’Shea, Rafael, Smalling; Midfielders: Bebe, Carrick, Gibson, Giggs, Nani, Obertan, Scholes, Valencia; Forwards: Berbatov, Hernandez, Owen, Rooney”

Things are looking better on the injury front. Glad to see that. Looks like Carrick and Nani are fit for tomorrow. We should have a strong team now.

Fletcher is still suffering from a virus and didn’t train. I guess he won’t make. Still no sign of Ando. Hargo and Park didn’t train with the main group. Hopefully Park will be back for Bolton.

    Vida didn’t train today. Hopefully it’s just a precaution…

    @ancha

Ah yeah mate. I used to write the first commment quite often a while back. Those were the days! But I never bragged that I was the first poster, lol. So i don’t get how I am the Jonny Evans of ROM as you and Jeet suggested. :D

  48. eddieTheRed says:

I don’t know why Richards is so intent on being a hero for City; sooner or later they will find a better player for that position and then toss him out of the club without a second thought! Revenge is a negative emotion and I would have thought city would need all the positive energy they can muster to beat us in such a huge match!

  49. jeet says:

Costas – thats exactly why you are Jonny Evans, regardless of everything, its your fault! Thanks a ton for the squad news as usual. Pray that Vida will turn up.

  50. Doghouse says:

The idea that City can just concentrate everything on this game is wrong, they are in no way guaranteed fourth spot and you can bet that is weighing on them too, even presuming they get knocked out of the Mickey Mouse Eurotrash Vase or whatever they are playing in. Chelsea have a game in hand on them, which puts them in fourth, and Tottenham are just better than they are, simple as that, so the two points they have over them isn’t much. Their run in will be every bit as tough and tight as ours, with stakes that are almost as high. We’ve got Arsenal breathing down our necks, they have Tottenham.

City won’t be relaxed, refreshed and focussed going into this game, they are fighting a rearguard action to hang onto a spot in the top four. The club, in theory, as an institution, wants a trophy, but the players? They don’t care. You can see that when they play. Only one or two players are really giving it a go, these are the players I think who want to have a career after their City pay day.

On the big stage, they will feel tired and small. They will look around Wembley at the sea of blue and red fans, and they’ll think, “Who are all these guys wearing blue? I haven’t seen them before,” and it’ll freak them out. They’ll actually be freaked out by the sight of a large number of their own fans, I guarantee, because it’ll gnaw on their nerves that by the normal run of things not many of their own fans care to watch them play, even for a fiver.

That’s not to say a trip to Wembley is always easy for United, but we’re getting players back now, particularly Valencia, with Nani back soon and I think we’re looking sharp again. The Arsenal game will have given all the lads such a boost. Walk out, play a great game, win. When it all goes to plan like that it can’t help but raise spirits.

  51. ancha says:

    AlphaRS

still even with the talent they have, the problem for them is the type of players they bought, dzeko Tevez balotelli Barry etc doesn’t have the character of a team and along with that pathetic manager they are not going to win anything anytime soon unless they bring in someone like Mourinho as he is the only one who can bare and manage such egos and attitude,
classic example of Mancini’s useless management is Adam Johnson with proper guidance he could have become the best winger in epl bar nani instead he is nowhere to be seen now such a waste of talent

  52. Costas says:

    @Jeet

Ooh! Yeah, that’s true then. I am to blame, lol. I am also to blame because jojo, the Liverpool/Celtic/United fan hasn’t appeared in the last two days. ;)

You are welcome. I saw some people post the updates above, so I thought I should post the full report. Didn’t mean to steal anyone’s thunder. :D

Vidic can’t miss this game. That much is certain!

  53. jeet says:

Aah its a shame we havent had balotelli fit…I’d give a lot to see Vida tearing into him…I cant decide whether to hate him or pity his diseased, warped mind

  54. petemanc says:

    @ mattbw7

    I stand coreccted……

  55. mattbw7 says:

thanks Pete, my comment was designed more to wake us up, rather than big up citeh, hoping i’ll be able to get my ticket, yet to visit the new Wembley with UTD

  56. ancha says:

    jeet

few weeks back there was a discussion about balotelli on Rom, and my opinion is he is a very good talent who played through out his career with lot of abuse and with very little or no guidance, to put simply I dare say he would have been another rooney if he had been playing under SAF from say around 16 yrs old, pity he didn’t have club like united to teach some manners and morals, another waste of talent at ‘Waste’lands

  57. Red Simmo says:

at least the roads will be clear for the city fans to travel to Wembley – it would have been a nightmare if 2 northern clubs had to go down!

either that or will the same thing happen as in 1999 and the open top bus parade where 750,000 fans all travelled up to Manchester for Essex and Dorset and then travel back again?

  58. Red Simmo says:

‘From’ Essex and Dorset. I meant ‘FROM’ Essex and Dorset!!!!!! Fuck it!
no big match temperament – i just lose it totally

  59. mattbw7 says:

If city win, open top bus, if UTD win cancelled on health safety grounds, absolutley guarantee that.

  60. mattbw7 says:

If City do actually win something soon, they will be more interested in us removing the banner than actually celebrating winning summat, tells you all you need to know about em.

  61. Red Simmo says:

they could use the same bus liverpool used last weekend for their civic reception after beating us!

I think the one with “we,ve won it 6 times” has been scrapped

  62. Red Simmo says:

I have to be honest Matt – its because of the banner that I desperately dont want us to lose.

    well, that and countless songs!!!

  63. mattbw7 says:

can you imagine the volume of 35 years at Wembley if we get the result OMG I want to be a part of that.

  64. jeet says:

ancha – exactly re: balocunt; a part of me despises him, another part of me pities him and recoils in horror wondering what sort of abuse he must have had to tolerate for someone of his age to become so negative, frustrated & twisted…and all the more a shame because he is undoubtedly talented. In the end, I see him in a blue shirt and I forget the part where I’m sympathetic

  65. StatesideAussie says:

Of course shitty are getting “closer”, the question is, “closer to what?” Closer to a trophy of some sort? Sure, it will happen eventually. They’re closer to that than they were before the Fucking Project, that’s for sure. But closer to us? No way. Doesn’t matter how you measure it, there’s no way. They’ll steal a win here or there … as others noted, they’re playing “percentage football”, and that’s why it’s called % football.

But if they want to make up ground in trophies, got a long way to go, and in the meantime, we’ll still be winning our fair share. The important thing is that when they pick up the odd trophy, they need to be taking away trophies that others like the dippers, rent boys or the arse might have won. Look at this way: there are five trophies on offer for a PL club each year: PL, CL, FA Cup, Carling Cup and Charity Shield. since SAF started winning trophies with us in 89-90, he has won 31 of those trophies (not counting others, like the club world cup). It works out at an average of 1.5 trophies a year, something like that. So long as we can maintain or improve that average, while staying in the top 4 of the PL, then they haven’t got “closer” to us. All they’re doing is fighting with the other curs for the scraps that are left over, once we’ve filled our belly.

It’s inevitable that they’ll win something, sooner or later. Splashing the dough around as they have been, it can’t be avoided. But they are not the biggest threat to our continued success. The biggest threat to our continued success will be when SAF retires.

  66. StatesideAussie says:

Not sure if it’s been posted already, but here’s another pretty decent article from James Lawton in The Independent:

    http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-and-comment/james-lawton-beautiful-ideals-again-fall-victim-on-the-altar-of-rivals-hard-ambition-2241025.html

Always considered him a cunt, and he actually is a cunt, but there have been more a couple of pretty good articles about us, or matters close to us, in the last few weeks. Well, as they say, even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then…

  67. belgianred says:

just thinking about how fast are team is going to be if we tried this formation:

    Rafeal Vidic Smalling Fabio
    Anderson Carrick
    Valencia Nani
    Rooney Chica

All we need is Snjieder and a replacement for Hargreaves and we will be monsters!!

  68. Zelh says:

News of the world are such a bunch of morons.
writing that rooney had again a fallout with ferguson.
weren’t they chatting and laughing during the arsenal game?

  69. Costas says:

Vida received treatment for a knock today. Should be oj for Marseille, said Fergie. Other news from the press conference from manutd.com:

Boss on Nani possible inclusion against Marseille: “There’s a good chance he’ll be involved. He and Michael Carrick trained on Sunday [and today]. Both will be involved tomorrow.” And on Antonio Valencia: “It’s great to have him back. The question is should I play him from the start. It’s a fantastic bonus to have him back.”

More injury updates from the boss: “Key is to have everyone available. We’re in three competitions. Ji-sung Park is making good progress, we’ll hopefully have him back for Saturday. Owen Hargreaves started training. You never know, we may have him available for the end of the season. The important thing is to have players for the run-in. If you do that then it increases our chances [of success].”

Boss on Marseille: “We have to recognise Marseille are an experienced, powerful side. They’ve showed their qualities away from home and that’s what we’ll be up against on Tuesday.”

  70. Costas says:

Sorry. Meant ok for Marseille. Evans will probably be ready for Bolton.

    One last bit:

“No long-term plans to play Wane Rooney in an advanced midfield role. He did well there against Arsenal, but Sir Alex says it was a case of utilising the players he had available rather than any shift in positioning for United’s no.10. “

  71. StatesideAussie says:

Thanks for the update, Costas. “Owen Hargreaves started training. You never know, we may have him available for the end of the season.” Er, does he mean in time for the end of season break? Oops, sorry, that’s my disenchantment showing through. Would like nothing better than for Hargo to come back into the team and give us one or three years of his best. Or one or three games, even. Miss him terribly, it’s just hard to keep your hopes up. But if it’s hard for me, how much harder for him and the club? So long as they keep trying, I will not lose faith. Cheers!

  72. redrider says:

Last seen, vidic was breaking open coconuts and bricks with his forehead as a part of calming himself down before the match. Another source has disputed it altogether and let in that he was airlifted to break open one of the reactor cores in japan. Dunno which one to believe. I’m stumped.

  73. StatesideAussie says:

Costas … I am not thrilled that the Rooney experiment is seen as a one-off. Thought he did really well, and it showed in him (he looked invigorated) and it showed in the team’s performance. I still see this as the solution for gettng two strikers on the field WITHOUT weakening the midfield.

  74. StatesideAussie says:

lol@ redrider. Must be the nuclear reactors, mate. Vidic wouldn’t need to use his forehead to crack a coconut or brick. He can do that with a look.

  76. Costas says:

    @Stateside

No problem. It depends I guess. If Hargreaves gets through the next 2 weeks of training, then he should be ready for a Reserves game. But you can’t help but be extremelly sceptical when it comes to Owen. I hope the boss is rght. It’s his last chance at United I feel.

  77. redrider says:

:-) no wonder there ain’t much scope for growin coconut palms in serbia. And i was fed the myth of the climate not bein suited for it n all…

  78. willierednut says:

Mickey Phelan better watch out, Costas is after his job.

  79. Costas says:

    @Stateside

I am actually with Sir Alex on this. Rooney played well in midfield on Saturday, but he still had 2 CMs behind him. He looked more like the 1 behind the striker in a 4-4-1-1. I know that many feel that Rooney playing in midfield could make way for a 4-4-2 with Berb and Chicha up front, but I think it’s too risky. We will be more creative, but defensively, our midfield would still struggle I feel.

  80. Costas says:

    @willie

Lol, I can even break baloons. :D

Actually I am after Ben Hibbs’ job, lol.

    Could not make it up.
    He’s worse then Almunia.
Arsenal fan’s are kicking off about.

  85. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Matt, While I agree that City are definitely getting closer, the statement that United will get left behind is not true. When you look at Chelsea and City, they have the same problems if UEFA’s regulations do come into place. They have zero youth system and what little they have is left behind in favor of bringing star players in at more costs and then having them rot in the bench.

That is where United (and to a certain extent, Arsenal) are good at. Our policy is such that no matter what kind of regulations come into force, our core team will always remain intact. Lets see the future: The Da Silva Twins, Smalling, Nani, Rooney, Hernandez, Celverley, Welbeck, Morrison etc. These guys will surely be part of United’s future in the coming years and City do not have something like that, nor do Chelsea. So, I don’t understand this question about us being left behind.

United definitely need to buy 1, if not 2, players to strengthen the squad in the summer. We mostly need a driving force in mid-field or we need Roy Keane from 1999 back. If we do that, then I can see us steamrolling many people as long as our defense is intact. I can hardly see that happening with City even though their team has a lot of potential, it will take some more time to turn that into kinetic.

But they are getting closer to somewhere, I would say, in the bigger scheme of things when the entire structure of football is concerned, we are still miles ahead of everyone in the scene. The only club that can match us is Barcelona.

Not starting an argument with you, but merely stating a fact that I see to be true.

Soon the arse fans will be kicking themselves about it.

  89. CedarsDevil says:

Does anyone have any updates on JS Park?

  90. willierednut says:

Cedars – He trained today mate. Don’t think he’ll be risked tomorrow, maybe the Bolton game.

  91. utdforever says:

Anyone have any hargreaves news? We would be complete with him fit again

  92. CedarsDevil says:

Cheers Willie, we have missed him

  93. Kings says:

Fuck off Richards. Great news on Nani, looking forward to seeing both him and Valencia on the wings.

utdforever – Both Hargreaves and Park are doing light training away from the main group. Please with that news.

  94. StatesideAussie says:

utdforever … read the earlier posts on this thread. Costas already posted that he is back in training, though training separately from the main group.

  95. StatesideAussie says:

costas … about the rooney thing, no, i don’t see him as playing in the middle of a 442 behind Berba and Chicharito. Some have suggested that, but I think that would suicidal. Where I’d like to see him is in the middle of a 451, with either Berba or Chicharito up-front (depending on the circumstances). And depending on the state of play at any given moment, that formation would be fluid (as indeed all formations are). When the battle is raging in the midfield, he could be in the center of the 5. As we move into attack, he could come forward, so I can imagine this as morphing from a 451 through a 4411 to a 442 in attack. Indeed, in full attack mode, with the wingers moving forward and even cutting in (or even a fullback), it could look like a 424 on occasion. I don’t wanna overdo it on the formation stuff — it’s really no more than a shorthand way of describing general movement and positions.

The main point is that whatever we think about his treacherous, greedy ways, the lad is a tremendous footballer who has the energy and the footballing brain and the desire to be in the thick of things. Put it this way: I would rather see in the middle of a 451, than out on the left wing of a 451. And I would rather have him in the middle of a 451, than have him/Berba/Chicharito as the lone striker in a 451, and I would also prefer it to a standard 442 in the bigger matches (I think 442 has already been proved a non-starter for those matches anyway). Cheers!

  96. slim says:

    @Balaji Sivaraman

Bang on mate. Funny just thinking that we’re actually the only English club that matches them and for the benefit of other reading;i’m saying it without my red tinted glasses on. The possibilities are fantastic which is weird because its been all doom and gloom for the past year or so but we’re miles ahead.

City getting close my ass. Since the last time it snowed in the mighty Sahara Desert those fuckers have won fuck all – Thanks for that bit STR, And you now have richards, talking about “revenge” for a goal scored against their sorry ass; its that all he’s got ? Fucking jokers

  97. NotoriousRedDevil says:

LOL @ cit-eh. How lkong they’ve been trying to get revenge now. Pathetic. Richards should just shut up.

Oh by the way I’m number 100. Therefore I’m the best 100 times better than the first. Whoop De Doo!

  99. King Eric says:

Cue the bitter bastards giving it large BEFORE a ball has even been kicked. They were fucking shocking yesterday.

  100. King Eric says:

The Rodwell rumour has been around a couple of months now and MANY close sources including agents and family reckon its a done deal but Fergie let Moyes keep Jack to make sure they get out of trouble.

  101. FletchTHEMAN says:

    http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2011/03/14/2394161/preston-north-end-chairman-disappointed-with-sir-alex

Such a poor article. All 4 players immediately requested a return to United. Sir Alex had nothing to do with it. Couple of the players were injured at the time and were back at United for treatment anyways. Preston are pathetic to bring this up and Mark Fordham is pathetic for writing such a poorly researched ABU piece.

  102. willierednut says:

King Eric – Yeah mate, It looks that way. He’s supposed to be a United fan as well?

  103. King Eric says:

Doghouse – spot on mate at 12.27

  104. Zelh says:

Dunno if we should rely on rodwell.
could be another hargo in the making.
missing lots of games a season.

    let’s wait and see.
    Imo it’s lots of BS

  105. gerkeo says:

Speaking about revenge, what about your horror tackle on Tom Cleverly ya fat bastard Richards?
    Scholsey gonna get ya…..

  106. King Eric says:

willie – Yeah he is mate. Rumour was that the rentboys tried to get him but Jack and his parents only wanted him coming to United.

Fuck me. With Nani, Valencia, Park, possibly Hargo , the twins and Rooney getting back to some form its time to start shredding teams .

  107. King Eric says:

Yeah Rodwell has had one or two injuries but is still only 19 I think. I would be happy to sign Jack as he can run a midfield at that age, as I have seen him do a few times, BUT can also play at centre back.

For fear of boring myself it really is time to throw Tunni and Morrison in next season but I reckon they may go on loan for a bit. Then again Fergie was banging on about Ryans performance in the last round of the cup and he was there again yesterday to witness Tunnicliffe running the show. Even watched the second half on lfctv and the scouse cunts were even saying Tunnicliffe is “starting to boss the game”

  108. willierednut says:

Liverpool play Arsenal, the same day we play City in the cup. Why not play our game, on the Saturday? FA = clueless

  110. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Has that been confirmed willerednut that we all play on Sunday? United, Scouse & Stockport clubs in London on the same day. Should be interesting!

  111. Costas says:

    @Cedars

No I haven’t yet mate. I was waiting for Fergie’s pc. Wait until tomorrow. Still sceptical about it. Don’t know if both Nani and Valencia will start for example.

    @Stateside

Oh I agree there. That’s the best way we can use tracking back in a 4-5-1. And it’s something that the Rooney of 04-08 used to do often for us. I know that he scored 34 goals playing as a centre forward for us, but between Berb and Chicha, we are covered there I think. With Rooney’s talent, it’s a shame not to involve him more in the build up of our attacking moves. Like you, I prefer this over seeing Rooney on the left.

  112. Costas says:

    @willie

I guess one semi has to be played on Saturday and the other on Sunday. We are lucky if we play on Sunday. If we get by Marseille, we will have a European game the previous week.

  113. Costas says:

One last thing about the injury front. The only player that we didn’t get an update on was Ando. I hope he is back immediately after the international break.

  114. willierednut says:

NRD – As far as I know mate. Should be interesting, indeed.

  115. willierednut says:

It depends how City do in the second leg against Kiev. If City go out, we might play on the Saturday.

  116. Zibbie says:

YES! 119TH, YES!!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN 119TH FUCK YES!!!!!!!!

  117. Red Simmo says:

isnt it the London Marathon also on the same Sunday?

    Great planning!

  118. Zibbie says:

King, Willie and MG Rodwell nice if it happens. He is English young and talented.
Rooney behind Chicha and Berbs with Valencia to the right and Nani on the left interchanging at time with Rooney.

  119. Costas says:

That’s what you get for trying to make Wembley useful. Villa Park is still a great venue for semi finals you know…

  120. Zibbie says:

As well as the Rodwell rumor AV’S Young and Clark ( a more talented O’Shey they say?) have had a lot of press. Then a CAM and a world class keeper.

  121. willierednut says:

Red Simmo – Yeah. Great thinking by the FA lol.

  122. Zibbie says:

Let’s see Nevil gone, VDS going, M. Owen probably gone. Hargo on his last leg. Ginger Ninja still not singed. Choices to be made on Cleverly, Wellbeck and more.
Purchase 3-5 players and give 2-5 youngsters first team action. What a transition.
I love Sanchez the guy from Chile but does he make sense for Man Utd if he comes does Velencia go?
What a summer what a run in Nani is back already.

  123. Red Simmo says:

it should be at Villa Park – end of!

remember the days when you had to count your tokens and cue overnight ay OT to be guaranteed a semi final ticket? this is how it should be – only the chosen 20,000 get a ticket who in the main will be your core supporters. A semi final ticket should be the most coveted thing you posess right up to the day of the match – a golden ticket!

where as now any fucker such as Mr & Mrs Farquarson will turn up with little fucking Tarquin and Chardonnay in their fucking range rover all the way from Berkshire with their brand new fuckin scarves and packed fuckin lunch – twats!

  124. Zibbie says:

Willie and the regulars, I have read back on the youngsters and the Liverpool win great insight. Does Ravel comes from the streets? Hope he can keep it together as a professional player. Tunnicliffe I know nothing about is he a CDM and how old is Prodgba ( my bad with his name)?

  125. max says:

“Saturday’s performance was a recovery,” said Sir Alex. “Tuesday is a different type of match, but we need to get to a good level to win. We are experienced enough to take each game as it comes. The focus is on Marseille because they are a good team. It’s a European match, a night game, and it’s at Old Trafford – all these things work in our favour. Hopefully we get the result that we want.”

  126. NotoriousRedDevil says:

This is what happens when you spend too much on a stadium corporate wankers have to be pleased in order to break even and its not as if the ticket split is 50/50. If you know someone at Club Wembley you’re sorted. Still no news from club regarding tickets probably waiting on Kiev to finish the job against cit-eh. FA and this country in general are useless in organising anything.

  127. Zibbie says:

Red LOL!!! a golden ticket! Willie Wankas adult version of the Golden Ticket.

  128. Zibbie says:

Red Simmo the guy with the picnic lunch got herpies simpelex 7 from a hooker the night before and just transmitted to his wife with a kiss over a toast of redwine.

  135. GoatinaUnitedShirt says:

Its allright TonyBee I think we can afford a winger now, Im sure the Glazers have money. You dont have to come in a Bemtley, and despite him scoring a hattrick his offspring wouldnt make the grade.

  136. ididnotzeeit says:

    25 million for Jack Rodwell?

Anyone else think that’s outrageous? Or have I missed something from the 15+ league appearances he’s made? Injury prone at 20, more yellow cards than goals or assists this season. Either Fergie’s doing his fellow Scotsman Moyes a massive favor or the story’s absolute rubbish.

I’ve learnt to never doubt the gaffer (re: Saturday’s starting XI) but if Rodwell’s worth 25 million than I need to talk to his agent!

  137. King Eric says:

Red Simmo – ha spot on pal.

theboogeyman – Happy birthday my young mate, how old are you now then? 18?

Fucking cunts on talkshite asking wether the game should be played at Wembley. Cue dozens of bitters calling and texting saying “well thats ok for United, seeing as though non of them are from manchester” Err fuck off. Darren fatboy Gough buying the myth as well. How come then the blue cunts cant sell out for a cup quarter final when tickets were about a fiver? Fuck off. Its funny most United fans did NOT want the semi at Wembley. Surprisingly EVERY single bitter DID want it at Wembley. They know its the only time they are gonna get there this season as they won’t make the final. Not a chance. They are fucking sht and with Tevez losing his shooting boots they are fucked,. As someone correctly said yesterday they will overcook all the preparations and make to bigger deal of it. Its just another game for our lads.

  138. King Eric says:

ididnotzeeit – I like Rodwell but certainly NOT for 25 million. Reckon it would be more like 15 million.

  139. smartalex says:

As a defender, Micah wanting revenge for Rooney’s overhead means that city’s rear guard felt violated. They believe they have our measure, and only conceded to a fluke.

Ill-prepared, and deluded, they preen and puff their self-aware way through the game, missing it completely.

  140. King Eric says:

Kings – Hello mate, hope you are ok. Saw your posts yesterday and you were spot on as usual about Sunday Supp and the player of the season awards. Spot on today about Wenger as well. Therein lies the difference. Fergie does NOT talk about trophies and trebles till they are in the cabinet. Summat Wenger should take note of. Tosser. Its a fucking disgrace that I haven’t heard ANY credit for Fergie and his tactics but just people feeling sorry for Wenger and his pansies.

  141. C.Hughesmufc says:

Fuck off john aldridge where were you when the little scouse twat at ot was caught live on the bbc singing Munich. Not one paper article i don’t agree with singing these songs about your murdering scum fans but no1 cares what your lot sings about us so fuck off taking the moral high ground you scouse bastard.

  142. Zelh says:

ididnotzeeit – Said the same before. not worth 25 mio and already injury prone..

  143. mattbw7 says:

On top of that King Eric, once won he forgets about them and moves on to the next challenge, never satisified always hungry and its bred into the players, thats what Owen talked about when he said he’d never been at a club like with the desire to win bursting out of every pore.

City will be a tough game but would it be any tougher than a game against Chelsea, Liverpool or Tottenham for some reason the City fans keep going on about how we only just won the last few ganes against them but really its just another game.

  144. Mrad_leb says:

    Where’s Park ffs ??!!

  145. theboogeyman says:

King Eric- Cheers. Nah I’m only 17.

  146. bchilds says:

Really looking forward to this – it might actually be a good game at Wembley, about time the stadium had a game worthy of it.

  147. Costas says:

    @boogeyman

Happy Birthday mate. I am not visiting FB a lot so I didn’t know when your birthday was.

Still 17? FFS I thought you were 20 by now. Only my age flies by it seems…

  148. ididnotzeeit says:

Apolgies if it had already been addressed Zelh. I saw that link and other stories brewing with similar figures and nearly spit up lunch.

25 million for Rodwell? Could be Fergie head games, show interest, get the Sheik to bid 40 million and away you go.

James Milner thinks that price tag is lofty : )

  149. Zibbie says:

Willie thanks, Red Simmo I just returned LOL!!!

  150. willierednut says:

You always pay a premium for English players. I’d say a figure between 15 and 25 million. He only signed a deal last season.

  151. King Eric says:

theboogeyman – STILL 17. You are like Peter Pan mate!

mattbw – Exactly mate. Its also instilled in all the lads. You are only as good as your last trophy. I mean look at Giggsy won 11 league titles but doesn’t even have any of them on show, they are at the museum I believe. He STILL wants more. Its a great attribute to have.

  152. Red Simmo says:

    @ TonyBee

    LOL – quality mate!

Just go in whatever means least to you – rest assured it wont be there when you come out the ground!

“come in a bentley, you must have come in a bentley, come in a bentley…….”

  153. Zibbie says:

Boogeyman Happy B-Day, I have underwear thats 17 years old.
Rodwell 20 million with 5 million add on for performance. Plus 305 premium for being English.
With the new rules for British players witch you Brits would you want outside of Bale?
I think Rodwell will do fine by Man Utd for 10 years to come and is worth the 20-25 million.

  154. Zibbie says:

    30% premium.

  155. Zibbie says:

With the new rules for British players witch young Brits would you want outside of Bale?
FUCK I CAN’T TYPE OR SPELL!!!
    GO ROONEY!!!

  156. Kings says:

King Eric – Hello mate, I’m good thanks. Hope you are ok. It never ceases to amaze me the bitterness and jealousy the fucking cunt media in this country have towards United. I have said this on a few occasions now and I will say it again, expect more hostility towards United in the coming weeks from the media and the FA as we hopefully close in on what will be an historic 19th title. For so long these bastards have been in awe of the vermin scum, seeing them as the benchmark and to see us usurp them will be gut-wrenching for them, especially as there are so many ex-scouse cunts within the media circles. And it is because of this, there is so much hope resting on Arsenal winning the title to prevent us from winning number 19. For 45 minutes from the start of that show they were going on and on about how unfortunate Wenger and Arsenal have been in recent weeks and how some of the decisions against them were harsh, totally overlooking some of the injustices we have had, because as far as they are concerned we deserve it , especially when they use terms such as ‘pot and kettle’, ‘Karma’ and ‘Things even themselves out’. That fat cunt Shepherd was reading the back page of one of the papers, it said that Fergie is in line for a one game touchline ban, he referred to it as ‘his rant’ against Martin Atkinson. Bastard. I have actually noticed a couple of people on here saying that they have respect for Wenger. I have no respect for him whatsoever, he is a disrespectful cunt who has double standards. When he loses a game he makes excuses and disrespects the opposition. Fergie may have been guilty of feeling aggrieved, but the difference is, he has issues with the officials, he never disrespects the opposition in a way in which Wenger does, none more so than boasting about winning the quadruple before they had played Birmingham in the League Cup Final – if that is not showing a lack of respect then I don’t know what is. Fergie was dismissive of our chances of winning the quintuple in 2009, despite the fact that we had already bagged the FIFA World Club Cup and the League Cup, as well as holding a 7 point lead with a game in hand at the top of the Premiership and having an FA Cup Quarter-Final with Fulham and a knockout tie with Inter in the European Cup at that time. .

Not many people would have noticed the obvious absence of Dwight Yorke for the Chelsea game, but I most certainly did. It is clear that SKY are reluctant to bring him in for our games as they know he will fight our corner, and for them, that is unacceptable – that is why they were happy to have that ex-scouse, Chelsea loving cunt Redknapp and ex-rent boy Wilkins on the show, showing contempt for our injustices, because if Yorkie was on there he would have over-exposed them.

I will sign off on a plus note by saying how great it is to see Tony V back and even greater news is the confirmation that Nani is available for tomorrow. Can’t wait to see these two in tandem. ONE LOVE ONE UNITED.

  157. King Eric says:

Off topic but does anyone know if that over rated cunt by the London media McEichran will be playing for the rentboys youths against our lads? I hope so as I want to see Tunnicliffe chop the bastard in two.

  161. King Eric says:

Kings – Yeah not bad mate thanks. Fucking belter of a post. Its not Shepherd but I see why you may call him that. Its Woolnough but his head is like a fucking sheep. Yeah I noticed he called it a rant. A rant? He said he feared as we needed a strong and fair referee. How is that a rant? As for Holt what a shithouse little toerag he is. “I am a big fan of Wenger” at the same time as calling Fergie a “dictator ” and “bully” Fair play to Paul Heywood who said to Holt that Atkinson SHOULD be criticised as he had an awful game. Then at the end every single one of them tipped United but oh no not that puff Holt. “Well I am gonna stick with Arsenal but don;’t think they can do it”. What? Make your mind up. At the same time get your fucking hair cut .

Rob Shepherd mate is that West Ham loving Ingerlund fan cockney cunt who is in the NOTW I think. A tosser as well.

  162. willierednut says:

You won’t find Rodwell out on the piss and in brothels, he’s doesn’t drink apparently.

  165. Zibbie says:

Well time to go for now.
    GLORY, GLORY MAN UTD!!!!!!

  166. Kings says:

King Eric – Sorry mate. Yeah I actually realised that after the post. Yeah it’s Bob Woolnough.

  167. TonyBee says:

s’morning on Talkshite they were reviewing a piece by Barclay in the Times stating that Fergie should get banned for 6 games for his Atkinson Rant plus 2 games that he has hanging over him…. but ,forget who it was, said do you think Fergie gives a hoot about what Barclay writes…and he said Nope, and went on to say that Collimore is feeding Barclay snippets and has been for years ,,,,stating there was a ‘love affair’ between them as Collimore is his football gossip snitch and has been for years …..and that also the news media is seething at SAF for not kowtowing to them…..

  168. Kings says:

Sorry I meant Brian. They’re all cunts anyway!

  169. Zibbie says:

I’m 49 and still have a pair of underwear given to me by my Collage lover. It has a frog on the front saying ” Rub It. Rub It.” women love them and will Rub It, Rub It.
